Billy is given a task when he tries to find Danny but later realizes that it's actually the island owner (he never met him before. only the ghosts did cuz the jld and other mages/tourists only come very occasionally for the trade and temporary refuge)"

I saw an outfit of Tom's that I remember as a yukata, so I drew Danny in one, but it turned out ugly, and the mask is horrible, but what matters is the intention. 🙏

I like to think that he would try to be the complete opposite of Tom but still with his basic characteristics, and I also like to think that he would use an alter ego that resembled Tom's name but was still different, that's where Don Nova came from.

And the tasks he asks people to do would be simple, but also useful for Potato, you know? Better than just meaningless stuff. Ohhh, and I put him in a wig too, just because.

Danny has found a small-ish floating island in the Zone that isn't claimed by anyone. Dibs.

He starts altering it, and finds out that for ghosts it's like, super easy. He's literally just grabbing bits of ecto and forming it into what he wants, like putty.

He takes inspiration from his favorite Animal Crossing save, and shapes this floating island to be a place for him to just...go chill.

He names it the same thing he named his Animal Crossing island; Potato.

Danny loves Potato Island. It's his new favorite place to go to unwind.

The blob ghosts like his little ecto lakes and ponds, and will take the form of random fish to play in them. Some of them like to pretend to be caught when he goes "fishing", and are very proud when he takes photos with them and tells them what a big catch they are.

There's his house, based on the Animal Crossing one he designed, and there's a few other empty ones as well.

There's shops, based after the ones on his islands, that have no wares and no one to run them.

But that's fine, this is all just so he can relax.

Except one day, a ghost he hasn't met before asks if they can have one of the houses. That in return, they'll run one of the shops.

Danny agrees! He was getting kind of lonely anyways, and he's not on the island all the time.

Then another ghost asked. Then another.

Now his little project island is a bustling avenue of shops and locals, with celebrations for Ghost holidays he's never heard of planned out, and a small city council to gather up concerns and bring them to his attention if the city council can't resolve them.

Usually it's infrastructure, since no one but Danny can make alterations to the island. The political stuff stays firmly in the hands of the elected officials.

Potato Island is a small, peaceful hub of trade and Danny is Very Proud.

Meanwhile, the Justice League Dark is very happy that there's an interdimensional, peaceful trading village in the Infinite Realms that they can do their shopping at with ease.

The locals like to barter, which is ideal for Magic Users, and Potato Island (wild name but whatever) is protected by a very powerful spirit, so JLD members don't have to worry about being attacked while there.

Billy, though; Billy has a whole other reason to seek Potato Island out; he needs a place to live as a human. He can open his own portals and go back to Earth, and he's not stupid, he knows not to eat food from the Realms, but he's...a little tired of being homeless.

As Captain Marvel, everyone thinks he's an adult and that he has a secret base to live in.

But as Billy, who no one in the hero community knows, he's been living on the streets, and he wants security.

So the next time he goes to Potato Island, he explores it, searching for the Island's guardian; Phantom.

He has a favor to ask.

Apart from Vallety, the OCs are from my Besties! Brendan is Carolzita's, and Yuna is Vee's

As you all know (I think, probably not), Vallety is a mermaid/siren/dog hybrid, but also, something I didn't tell you, is that he was created in a laboratory, he likes art, books, blueberries, honey and he's composer who sings and plays a guitar.

Yuna is kind of his aunt/cousin in the lore of the universe that we are slowly creating cuz his mother was her father's cousin, so, her inherited cousin, but they see each other like sisters and she takes care of Vall but she is not that old, ya know? She also is a pure-blood mermaid(Vallety's mother was a siren. And in case somebody doesn't know what difference is, specifically in their lore, a siren attracts her "prey" with her voice, and a mermaid do it with her beauty), and a beach girl who likes to just chill around.

And meanwhile, Brendan is a Sea Mid-Low God, nothing too big but not insignificant either, who likes leather jackets, mechanical engineering, soda and is a racing driver, successful even. He builds and designs super high-tech cars and other stuff with his team and his grandfather (a human, "mad" scientist vibes and all) in the old man's scientific workshop. He is also a spearman, he loves his trident. His parents, his entire family are completely human, he is just adopted 👍

I think I want to give this AU a name, just in case I can get the energy to write a fic later.

I was thinking of something like "Always!AU" you know? Like, it would be like that because I want Bruce and Clark to have a promise, one to always take care of each other and always be there for each other.

I want it to be a promise that carries as much weight as the one Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian made in "No More Dead Robins." I want that promise to spread throughout the family as they grow up.

And that's why the name "Always!AU", but I don't know, if anyone has an option that they think is good, just put it up and I'll see if I change it or not.

It's not exactly an AU, since I didn't write anything anywhere, I just have it all stored in the back of my brain.It's more like a preference and a mix of several Headcanons and concepts that I took from some fanfics I read on AO3.

Like for example, the Batfam being absolute cryptids and scaring the shit out of everyone else in the hero community. For this trope, I usually like to think of the Batfam as having managed to build functional, realistic and beautiful wings.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget the classic bird language. Oh oh and the feline like claws and pads on the gloves too!Also, I like to think that Billy joined the family like, half a week after being invited to the League, seriously, he may be magical and a little more mature, but he's still a kid, and the Bats only need one slip-up from him to put the pieces together.

I also like to think that this Billy doesn't have the others from Shazamily, yet, because I want him, the way he is, to look at this bunch of orphaned street kids(and his lost twin sister of course), and simply give a Batman, taking them to the mansion just to shock everyone that the first one(technically second because of the whole Park Row's children and Jason thing) to start having Bruce's addiction to adoption was not Dick but Billy.

And even though I haven't put this in either of the two fanfics I've written so far, I'd like Bruce's parents(and Alfred) and Clark's parents to meet before the two were even born yet, and for them to grow up as brothers, and for the Kent farm to be an escape from Gotham's overwhelming elite and the spotlight for Bruce.

I want a young, stubborn Bruce to take a young, scared Clark around the farm and find Clark's ship, I want them to find out sooner what Clark is, who he was, his birth name, I want this duo of kids to be the ones to find out that Diana Prince is Wonder Woman and for her to take them as apprentices (References to an AO3 fic called Shadow Demon, it's really good, oh and I'm also getting a little bit of Alternative Heroes, Same Hearts).

I want a good relationship and communication between the Batfam, make Alfred forcefully shove an angry teenage Bruce into a therapy room, and of course, the training with the monks, and make him be very grateful for that now that he has to take care of other traumatized and vengeful little humans.

I want Jason to be caught sooner, that he was trying to steal Batman's tires to buy medicine for his mother, I want Bruce to take this child and feed him and promise to help in the best way possible, I want Bruce to take him to the moldy apartment that the boy calls home, I want him to realize the state of his mother, I want her to have already left, that she took advantage of Jason's departure to be able to get rid of her pain without having to do it in front of him. I want Bruce to comfort a young and hysterical Jason, I want this boy to cry himself to sleep only to wake up wrapped in the softest sheets of his entire life.

I want a Bruce who reveals his identity to Jim before he even considers taking a young, eager Barbara under his wings, okay? I want a responsible Bruce.

And don't make poor Lucius have so much stress.

I want Bruce to notice the little shadow following them (seriously, I think it's cool that Tim managed to do this without getting caught, but not here, Batman, Batwoman [yes, she comes sooner, i want Kate to come visit her cousin and see the shit he's doing and refuse to leave until he includes her] and Robin have wings, with sensors to feel things that normal people don't feel, like changes in the air, or even sensors to smell more specifically.), I want Bruce to notice that the neighbors left, but his son didn't go with them, I want Bruce to pick up this abandoned boy and wrap him in a hug.

I want him to see the daughter of one of the Rougues trying to sabotage her father, I want him to accept the help willingly and try to slowly gain her trust, I want a Bruce who saves Stephanie from her own father, I want a Bruce who couldn't save her mother, I want a Steph who even though she's sad doesn't blame him. I don't want Tim and Steph to date. I want them to be siblings. I want them to be best friends. I want them to be like twins. I want them to be chaos gremilins together!

I want Talia to not be evil, I want her to be essentially kind, I want a Talia who blames herself millions for what she did to Bruce, I want a Talia who looks at this tiny baby in her arms and loves him unconditionally, I want a Talia who can't stand watching the training her father gives to her baby, her son, I want Talia to take a 3-4 year old Damian and take him to Bruce, I want her to get hurt in the escape, I want Bruce to save her, but I also want her to run away, run away far away so that the LoA doesn't get close to her little and adorable Dami, nor her beloved, or the children he took as his. I want them to have a complicated, distant, forbidden, cursed by others, but true and lasting love.

Adam had wanted to kill the Champion’s child. He knew it’d weaken the man. Just like his own child’s death weakened himself. But… Watching the child in ratty clothes walk out of a decrepit building, (Billy’s apartment complex) he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.

So, he decided to steal the man’s child instead. He’d held the child captive for hours, yet the Champion never showed.

Billy: *bound to a chair*

Black Adam: *standing across from him* “Your father hasn’t come yet, boy.”

Billy: “Of course not.” *thinks Adam is talking about C.C. and also thinks he knows Billy is Marvel*

Black Adam: “You don’t seem surprised.”

Billy: *confused* “Why would I be?”

Adam didn’t know what to say to that. Did the Champion neglect his own child? Children were sacred, how could he do that? It was then he made the decision to awkwardly (forcibly) adopt the boy. He’d dragged him along for all the things a father normally does with their child. Such as hunting faeries, and going to the UN for Khandaq’s diplomatic relations, and even eating the iced cream favored by most people nowadays.

And if Billy was frowning the entire time because he didn’t wanna be around one of his worst enemies, Adam didn’t see.

This eventually caught the concern of the JL who were wondering why Marvel hadn’t done anything to stop this a little kid from hanging out with Black Adam. (It was because Billy couldn’t sneak away to transform in the first place) So, when he felt his comm start ringing in his pocket dimension he just decided to use the ultimate tactic: The Bathroom.

Billy: “I gotta go whizz, be back in a sec.” *walks off quickly*

Black Adam: “Wha— what do you mean by whizz?”

In the Bathroom…

Billy: *crawls out of a bathroom window and transforms before flying off*

He flew for about 15 minutes before he picked up the comm.

And well, finding out that the guy you thought would give you headaches in the modern age is actually super happy about it is kind of shocking Batman already had several slides ready to give the captain a lecture about respect

And things like this just keep happening. Is there a protest in Asia about feminism? The Shazam family will be there, Mary and Darla protesting while their brothers stand around staring at anyone who wants to intervene. Community centers for homeless charities? captain will appear to call the public, ask for support and do some tricks to please the rich Donations to hospitals? They are all out there distributing news, asking anyone who can help, to help. A movement for teacher salary justice in Brazil? They are already there to help Or are movements taking place to preserve Brazilian flora? because of the criminal fires happening in the Amazon? They are there again, using their magic to heal what was hurt, put out what burned and protest, demanding more attention from the government. Do they want to take away land from indigenous tribes? They're going to have to go over the captain first. News broke about high levels of trash in the ocean. But Aquaman barely has time to deal with it himself, he sees his co-worker there with his family gathering pieces of trash and separating them for their own disposal, using spells to separate chemicals and water pollution. Is Gotham suffering from polluted air? The captain will gather a bunch of clouds and sprinkle them with some magic, and his raindrops will gradually purify the air for the people Is a police officer being cleared after attacking a teenager? no no no, marvel will be in front of the police station in the morning along with a bunch of civilians wanting justice Does a police car, or any car in general, have a sticker that supports some kind of tyrannical movement? apology for the Nazis? to an oppressive government? a prejudiced joke? Oh man, you better be ready for dawn with every part of this car missing, probably being sold illegally and having the proceeds sent to charity The fact that the captain calls the police bastard pigs was a shock, some got defensive and such, others thought it was great. It was a slight headache for the Justice League when it came to the media, but it's not like the government liked them before The movements in Brazil are there because im brazilian, raised by a teacher, there was no way to avoid it.
