I never really liked tfa much or understood the hype around it either 🫤 It's alright, but prime is probably the best of the shows imo. G1 is my fav even tho its so silly bcs it always makes me laugh, and I know some people don't like either of those, so it's definitely all subjective

all my life ive seen Optimus portrayed as an old kind-hearted dad so seeing him as a bratty young guy destroyed my sense of reality 😭😭 i GET the appeal like it IS an interesting portrayal of him and i definitely just need time to get used to him and i know i will sound like a bunch of other people, but my only wish is for him to have just a sliiiightly different style for his face </3 i like my Optimus' looking hot and tfa Optimus just aint doing it for me 🥀

but G1 is genuinely such a fun time it makes zero sense and i thoroughly enjoyed it when i saw it for the first time several months ago :D although i havent seen 3 and 4 seasons but sometime in the future i'll definitely check them out!

in the end these kinds of stuff ARE subjective so i am trying my best not to be hyper critical of tfa when i even barely seen it </3

im looking at the chronological list of comics rn and oh my GOD im not even close to it😭😭 i also cant imagine how can it even get better!! like-- MTMTI is already peak and im only like half way there so im honestly scared that Lost Light will just straight up kill me im soooo weak when it comes to good writing of plot and characters so i have NO idea what to expect😭😭😭
