midnight mass was really good the first time i watched it sometime shortly after it first came out, but it took me until rewatching last month for it to actually Grab Hold

I think my first watch impressions were "that was good and hit me right in the catholic upbringing. also the priest slurping blood off the floor was kinda", in that order

my brain took both those things away from the rewatch and has been incredibly normal ever since, thanks for asking
