My other personal favourite: Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil adopts Peter. Bonus points if it’s after No Way Home, the emotional hurt/comfort potential is IMMENSE. I just. I love that shit. I eat it up every time. GIMME!!!

Next up, one I did not think would work, but it ABSOLUTELY DOES: Bucky Barnes adopts Peter. Currently reading a fic called Anatomy In Reverse by pansley on ao3, and lemme tell ya im OBSESSED. I did not think there was potential there, BUT BOY WAS I WRONG. (Lovely fic, would 100% recommend it btw)

Oh and did you think Peters adoptableness only reached until the confinements of the MCU? THINK AGAIN. Cuz the Batfam is NOT ABOVE ADDING SPIDERS TO THE BATS AND BIRDS!! You think Batman has an adoption problem, you’ve clearly never seen the amount of fics of Nightwing adopting Peter. (I guess it runs in the family. Also, Dark Matter anyone??)

- yayayaya chimney is back i missed him! the way he was helping bobby these episodes was melting my heart, i love their friendship so much. also his banter with buck was hilarious i love them so much!

- buck choking on his date with Abby gave me second hand embarrassment lmfao. he’s such a silly goose.

- I am loving athena and hens friendship and gossip sessions though hehe.

- abby and buck doing the deed? while hen and her no good ex are at it too? no comment. i appreciate abby and buck being there for one another’s comfort but i don’t like them as a situationship, no thank you. im not sad she’s going to travel, it’s cute she’s gonna live her life and do things to make herself happy.

- athena almost got chopped up?? leave my girl alone the fuck?? her goodbye to her husband hurt my heart, she deserves all good things in life and i wanna keep her safe. ALSO her getting cuffed doing the nasty with that hot guy was hilarious, hen is a real one for saving her ass bahahaha

- Bobby talking about reaching 148 and then leaving…. this man keeps making me so sad. I want him to be happy let this man be happy for fks sake :(( im glad he’s getting himself out there and going on dates though hehe he deserves the best! chimney giving him a little pep talk was too sweet, i love their friendship so much. BOBBY THROWING AWAY HIS LIST??

- that motorcycle call… that was the first scene to make me cry. that hurt, especially bobby and athena’s reaction to it.

the selling of the truck (potentially) just breaks something in me. just a little bit. because eddie does not invest in himself hardly ever. so to see this truck that... okay the way he got it, not great... but this thing he earned and got for himself that he is now giving up to fit in a box that isn't right for him. for chris, eddie would give up anything and everything. but first, it was the job he loved, then the city and home he loved. and now he is going to be without the job that gave him purpose again, PLUS he is getting rid of that truck. it's like eddie is making himself smaller and smaller, cutting out pieces that don't fit, so he can be this thing for chris. because if Chris was traumatized and running from him, but happy and thriving with his parents.... well, maybe the issue is eddie. but if eddie can be something else... can figure out how to be exactly what chris needs, who cares if he is a shell of himself if it means chris is happy, healthy, and taken care of. perhaps this is the penance he must pay. it's like the well... he cut his own line for a kid, and now he is under 40 ft of mud. he has two choices... wait and potentially let himself die or fight like hell to get back to his family. he's still alive down there. he's screaming, pounding against the mud. he won't give up without a fight. but for those few uncertain moments, he still wonders if he will make it out alive.
