I've learned two things this month. One is that I think I really like drawing dinosaurs, and two is that I think I really don't like drawing robots. I chose to not draw her wings because they just took up too much space, and also were way too fuckin complicated for how frustrated I already was.

I was gonna do wayyyy more for this ref sheet, I was gonna do a turnaround, her cloak pattern, her tattoos, an expression sheet, her scepter, but all that got shafted when I realized that I FUCKIN HATE DOING REF SHEETS, IT'S SO BORING AND FRUSTRATING

I also came to the realization that I don't really like her design that much, it feels kinda boring and the colors aren't very representative of her character. Blue just does not fit her. So I'll probably end up revisiting her in the future to redesign her, but I am not doing another ref sheet, the next time I need one I'm just gonna commission someone because they're a pain in the ass

small update to my patreon- someone promoted the piracy of my work on here so i have had to edit the 2$ tier to remove sketches, wips, and concept comics. i’ll keep early access work, but it’ll be watermarked. this was a low blow u_u very stressful

every tier above the 2$ tier is the same so don’t worry about those. it’s just the cheapest one that’s been changed

a few people defended it by saying culture should not be exclusive to those who pay for it- my work isn’t culture man. it’s furry art that will be posted eventually, it’s just posted early for those who support me. piracy isn’t a bad thing but when you’re taking revenue from an artist who deals with chronic pain and cannot get money elsewhere, you’re an asshole

This took so long to finish because I was juggling it with a 9-5, and THEN I fucked up my wrist at said 9-5 so I didn't draw for a whole day and it made me sad. It was all worth it in the end though because I'm really happy with this, especially the pose work. The 2 days worth of practice I did last year is really paying off

I have no idea how to show this to the person I made it for, as far as I'm aware they don't have a DA or a Tumblr so I'm shit out of luck I think
