Rewatching Dungeon Meshi and noticing that Marcille is genuinely terrible at basic non-magical medicine. After Chilchuck gets attacked by a mimic, she automatically assumes he's dead without checking much of anything. Then when Laios gets food poisoning, she tries to listen to his heartbeat through his armor and panics when she hears nothing.

Really brings home how their group is incomplete without Falin.

Also, Laios not recognizing Kabru but recognizing Kuro (because he's a kobold) when they come across Kabru's party dead for the second time is so... Laios.

If the dungeon master is tired and lonely the demon tries to act kind and cuddly and if the dungeon master is in the throes of paranoia the demon acts aggressive and creepy so the winged lion acting cunty gay and horny means laios is

something ive noticed is that you dont pick a favorite dungeon lord. one of them picks you and youre just stuck forever and will constantly have them on your mind and itll make you so unbelievably sad

So I got into dungeon meshi and i’ve been telling everyone who I talk to. I love everything about the world, characters, the art, etc.

BUT

People are not kidding when they say that senshi will manifest in your head to tell you to eat better. Like I have a hard time remembering to eat but my brain would be like “you haven’t eaten in some hours, you need a meal” and I would be like you’re very right internal senshi I’m gonna see what I can make. Then I make food??? Honestly Gods sent senshi for helping so many people eat better

this brief second where we see thistles eyes clear up, aagh,, a bit ago i saw somebody talk about how different he looks compared to scenes from when he first became the lord of the dungeon just makes me very sad
