Quietly losing my mind over the fact that Elon Musk has straight up orchestrated a coup of our executive branch and like....I don't even know what, if any, system we have in place to fix this. Like... He's just taken control of the money and locked out the actual appointed officials. What the fuck.

I’ve never made this connection before…at the beginning of DH Hermione tells Ron and Harry how a wizard who’d split his soul could heal himself, save himself…remorse oh, harry
Harry James you precious baby
I’ve read this second bit before, the whole try for some remorse thing, and thought it was just a Harry stabbing in the dark, but nO
It was so calculated
He remembered that conversation
Hermione’s research
actual, possible redemption for Voldemort
he kept that hope, however slim, that Voldemort could be saved
before they cast their final curses, after all that happened, Harry was actually trying to get Voldemort to mend himself back together
Harry james potter you compassionate jerk trying to save your mortal enemy before he utterly and finally destroys himself
Just looked at a blog where the header description said 'sometimes I reblog posts I like so I don't forget them'.
And I feel like that, right there, explains so much about how the site has changed in the last few months.
People now think reblogging is an unusual behaviour, rather than a default.
Tumblr newbies, please, for the love of baby Jesus, reblog the posts you like. That is the whole reason the site exists - for you to collect all your shiny fandom objects in a single space. Which you can organize to your heart's content. Or not organize at all, if that's your jam.
Our blogs are intended to be collections of posts, not collections of likes.
at this point, it is probably safer for most women to leave the country because there's no way we're getting justice if this is what the courts themselves say. exactly why do they believe our bodies, our lives and our rights are not more important than the lives of cruel people?
society's evolving backwards here; we are pressured to get married and have babies to "ensure the survival of the family" but there is nothing that can help us or our possible daughters now.
Js heard that the Allahabad High Court said that grabbing a girl's breasts or breaking the string of her pajamas does not count as a grape attempt, and that the Supreme Court js paused that verdict.
WTF is wrong with the people in this country o_O
I have seen a lot of insanity from these courts. I’m not surprised just disappointed. They’re so useless 💩🖕🏻
rip rosekiller. you would've loved saying "okay boomer" to every authority figure
YES PLEASE DO THIS
Abolish Tesla.
Okay, not all men—but why is it always a man?
How can someone even think of doing something like that? If you don’t fear the law, at least fear God! That is a sacred place—what the hell are you doing?
Yes, we ‘overreact’ about safety because not a single day goes by without the fear that someone on public transport will ‘accidentally’ rub their genitals against our back or ‘accidentally’ let their hand touch our chest or body. We fear for our safety because, for the next few days, we might end up hating our own skin. We carry our bags on our backs even in crowded spaces, even when it’s inconvenient, even when we fear someone might take something out of the bag—at least then, we won’t have to hate our own skin.
And what about catcalling when we’re not even on the same transport? What’s our fault when a man in a bus can't control himself and starts making weird gestures at us just because we happened to look up at a passing bus? Or when we’re walking down the street, and someone passes uncomfortably close to us? That’s why we have to hold our keys tightly, keep something sharp in hand, stay hyper-aware—just to reach our destination safely, until the next time we have to go through it all over again.
Yeah, okay, not all men—because I have great, caring, respectful, genuine men around me trying to protect me from men themselves. So maybe not all men. But even they know that somehow… it’s always a man.
