Giving up on my Family in Gaza Facing Death and Famine is NOT an option!

The living conditions of the people of Gaza are worsening drastically. Netanyahu is hell-bent on massacring my people and destroying every form of life in Gaza. As I think continuously about the fate of my family and the different possible scenarios, my heart skips beats.

They live in fear of death 24/7, with no electricity, no clean running water, no cooking gas, no proper food, no work, no life! They, like all the helpless poor people of Gaza, deserve a break. As time passes, the risk of losing some or all of my family members increases. Time, unfortunately, is not on my side as the war becomes more vicious and ferocious every day.

Hopefully, when the Rafah crossing is operational again, I will spare no effort to temporarily evacuate them to Egypt until the war is over. They are torn apart and I am devastated!

Martyr little Hind represents all the innocent children in Gaza who are subjected to the horrors of war and murdered in thousands in cold blood by Israhell. She represents all the innocent helpless civilians trapped in the vicious circle of genocide and seeking safety and a better future. The devastated people of Gaza count on you. Please do NOT fail us! We, too, deserve to live a normal life without missiles and bombs falling like acid rain all the time killing every form of life, happiness, and future!

I love the concept of Baratie not just bc it's a sea restaurant and that's cool but because their policy is the absolute antithesis of "the customer is always right." Oh you wanna be a jerk to the staff? Get decked, loser. Being terrible on a date? Congratulations, our sous chef will steal your girl. Ordered a wine that pairs badly? Ignored, we're picking a better one. It's like objectively the funniest way to run a restaurant and I can't stop thinking about it.

Your prompt was “Soulmate AU”, so I wrote just that! I had a great time planning out this fic, and it was really fun to write - not like anything I’m used to doing. I ended up projecting myself onto a lot of these characters, and it was an interesting journey.
