x 🧑‍🦰 - Have they ever dyed their hair? Ever cut it themself?
((Rody has never dyed his hair. He has given himself and his siblings plenty of haircuts over the years, though! Just a little snip snip, not too shabby of a job! Just another thing they don't have to spend money on really- Unless one of them wants something specially done in the future, maybe Rody shouldn't be trusted with something a professional should do.))
He couldn’t help but laugh at how offended the hero looked. It was the truth though! Rody was way more experienced with lying and being believable. And they were Deku’s friends! How could Izuku possibly lie right to their faces? It was way easier for Rody in this situation.
“Wha-” Out of instinct, Rody leaned back against the wall of the closet, but was unable to escape the hero’s grasp. He could feel his shirt collar being pulled down and it caused the hidden Pino to squawk. “What are you doing Deku- Hey- Hey!” Rody’s hands were gripping onto Deku’s shoulders, but even with all his objections, he didn’t shove the other back at all.Â

Honestly Izuku was a bit offended with the implication that Rody was making, sure he may not be a delinquent like Rody but even he was capable of lying! Ok he wants to make this so called lie believable then he is going to make it believable by not making it into a lie.  The greenette was on Rody in a matter of seconds, grabbing him by his jaw with one hand to turn his head to the side while his other hand tugged on the collar of Rody’s shirt enough to expose his neck. Leaning in to leave a noticeable mark on the brunette’s neck even after he would straighten himself out.Â

ooc - been busy with work and a special project...
An expected response from the hot-headed blonde, but he was happy to hear the concern after. Rody smiled gently as he analyzed his brother yet again, brushing back his hair to get a clear view of his face. "He's fine. Just really shaken up." He confirmed, glancing over at Pino on the boy's shoulder, seeing that she was still an emotional wreck. That checked out; Rody felt like his legs would give out underneath him if he allowed them to.
Lala made her way to hold onto her big brother's leg, shedding her own tears, and he could have collapsed in his siblings arms at that moment. But he wouldn't let himself right now. Not in front of the hero.
"I guess you never got to properly meet my siblings." His voice sounded a bit strained but he pushed through it. The only time Bakugou would've ever seen the two of them was in the hospital after the Humarise incident. Rody gestured to the boy in his arms with his head. "This is Roro." Then he looked down at the youngest holding onto him. "And this is Lala." She gave the hero the smallest of waves.
Katsuki knew that patrols were part of the job, but they also bored him to tears if there were no crimes happening. It was just walking around through your assigned precinct and helping old folks across the street. The most he’d done earlier was stop a dumbass purse snatcher. It was low-grade bullshit that was easily taken care of.Â
He was about to radio in to Endeavor when he saw a villain zoom by out of the corner of his eye. The villain was carrying what appeared to be a sack of money and zipping between obstacles with what appeared to be... sand...? “What the fuck...?!” he exclaimed out loud before immediately jumping into action.Â
A sneer crossed his face, much like the joy that would glimmer in a predator’s eyes before pouncing on their prey. “Guess I gotta kick some fuckin’ teeth in!” he exclaimed before blasting off into the air with his hands outstretched.Â
He caught up with the villain in no time--
--only to be faced with said villain holding a kid up in front of him like a shield.Â
“If you blast me, you’re only gonna hurt the kid!” the older man exclaimed. “Let me go and maybe I’ll decide to let the kid go free!”Â
Katsuki scowled at the cowardice of the villain. “What? Can’t face me head-on so ya gotta go involve kids in this shit?” he huffed. “Fuck, you’re lame--!”Â
At the young boy, he shouted, “Watch your head, kid!” He leapt up into the air and aimed what were machine gun-like concentrated explosions all around the villain. Each shot hit the pavement around them, kicking up gravel and dust. Though they looked scattered, they were also highly precise strikes that destabilized the ground. One such hit was able to directly hit the back of the villain’s head and knock him entirely unconscious.Â
Though, just as the robber went to hit the ground, Katsuki quickly braced the man just so he could grab the kid out of the guy’s arms. Whirling around, he placed the boy onto his feet. “You okay, kid?” he asked before pausing. He furrowed his eyebrows when one particular feature stuck out to him. The hair.Â
The noodle looking hair...
“Oi, are you related to----?”
He didn’t get the chance to finish his question because the kid was already running towards his older brother in tears.Â

"What...?" So Rody did hear him correctly before.
"He's my friend and a hero. It's not unusual to look at him with admiration." Rody pointed to his own head, poking at it a few times with a sly grin. "You're imagining things. Though, you approaching me about this out of all things is quite interesting."
There was a pause for dramatic effect, Rody's grin only getting bigger.
"Are you jealous?"
continued from here.
“Don’t fuckin’ play dumb with me!” Katsuki snapped. “I’ve seen the way you look at him when you don’t think he notices.” He clicked his tongue loudly. “Tch! The damn nerd’s oblivious but I’m not.”Â
“You have feelings for him, don’t you?”Â

That’s right! This blog has existed for one year! Which means I’ve been writing Rody for a year! Geez, time flies. And I still have brain rot for this man. Thank you all for being here, seriously. It’s so much fun writing him and writing with others, and I really have made a lot of amazing friends thanks to this blog. I couldn’t be more grateful. I love you all.
So what am I doing celebrate?
Well for one, I’m finally making proper icons. About time.
Secondly, I’ll be taking some drawing requests! I’ll probably get to them tomorrow since Halloween is a busy time, but my askbox is open for any requests! If we’ve written together, you can even request a scene from one of our rps; I love bringing those scenes to life!
Thank you all again for being here! And Happy Halloween! 🧡🧡🧡

Judging by the ease he shows as he agrees to the other’s request, the villain must be feeling pretty sure of himself now. “Just make it quick,” he asks of Rody, expression unchanged even when he finishes with a veiled warning: “I’ll know if you try anything, so… don’t.”
And just like that, Izuku lets go of the other boy’s arm, even going as far as to give him a small wave. “I’ll wait here.” And wait he does.
Minutes pass, and Izuku finds himself bored, but not alarmed. Instinct tells him Rody isn’t a dodgy character, and he’s going to keep himself true to his promise to come back — and Izuku has long learned to trust his gut feelings.
Despite the uneasiness, Rody responds in all seriousness, "I won't." He wasn't going to risk anything. Especially with his siblings nearby now. Rody steps back once he's freed. "I'll be back." And off he went, jogging to his destination.
It was ten minutes of checking on his siblings, making sure they had food for the night, telling them that he would be back later and that they should go to bed without him, and then changing into fresh clothes and saying goodbye.
He would be back. But leaving them made his heart sting and his stomach twist. It was never easy to just leave.
Jogging back up in a clean (but patched-up) hoodie and jeans, Rody was somewhat relieved to see the other still standing there. That meant he didn't follow him home. That meant he trusted Rody's word. "Alright." He spoke up to get Izuku's attention if his footsteps didn't alert him already. "So where are we getting this plane?"
Running, running, running. That’s all they’ve been doing. That’s all his brain has been doing. This whole situation was extremely stressful; the police and even villains chasing after them- seriously- what the hell was up with this case?
He wanted to go home. That’s all Rody could really think about. His stomach twisted and turned at the thought of his siblings home alone with no one to take care of them. They were fairly capable on their own but... he promised he wouldn’t leave them. What could they be thinking right now? It was well past their bedtime; were they in bed? Or were they still waiting for their older brother to come home?
Rody had made up his mind before he and the blonde settled down to sleep. The judgmental look Pino shot his way before he started drifting off filled him with more guilt. But he had to go through with the plan. He had to. For them.
Heavy gray eyes slowly opened after a few hours of rest. Even in his dreams, his family took all importance. That was enough to set the plan in motion.
The brunette sat up, quietly making his way over to where the blonde was sleeping. It looked like he was out cold. Good. He carefully grabbed hold of the briefcase and slid it out from under the boy’s hand. Now all he had to do was get out of here-
Piiiiiiiii! Pi! Pi! Piiiiii!
Rody hushed the bird in a panic. Everything was going so smoothly before his personal alarm went off. He dodged and rushed past her, running away from the barn as quickly as he could in the direction of the phone booth they had passed earlier on in the night. He knew he was on limited time thanks to Pino.
Back at the barn, Pino was chirping up a storm to wake up their accomplice. She was being as loud as she could, flapping her wings to blow wind in the hero’s face as well.
@rody-soul plotted out a starter!
Tired… Neito was just so tired.

"You're a good kid. That in itself makes your parents' life easier. You'll be able to help them out more some day soon." He continued to reassure her. "Your career is only just starting, you don't have to be so hard on yourself. You're doing as much as you can do at this moment in time." She was still a student. She had so much more time to experience things and grow.
"I don't think it's silly."
"It's sweet and... selfless." It made Rody wonder how many heroes thought like this. Did the few heroes in Otheon feel guilty...? Pino's feathers drooped at the thought.
Ochako's hands turned to fists at her sides, brows furrowing before she shut her eyes. Of course he was right but...it made her feel like...she wasn't enough. "I...can't even make the life of my parents easier. And I don't want to feel like...like I'm not a good heroine." She sighed and opened her eyes. "It's just...I've seen how fragile this whole world is and I wish I could do more, even if I can't do anything for myself."
She put on a sad smile. "I guess that's a silly thought, huh?"
