I was trying to draw them kissing for like a week now but something was always wrong đ
So have that uglyass sketch anyway àŒàș¶âżàŒàș¶
As much as I love bakudeku, Rody being Izuku's first kiss makes sense lol something must have happened at that little romantic roadtrip đ
Rody waved a hand. "Nah, you're not at fault for that, don't worry. I think your class is respectful enough to not invade someone's space without permission. Plus, I've got nothing to hide; all they would really find is a bunch of notes and books on my desk." Well, the secret behind Pino was something to hide but it's not like he had that written down anywhere.
His grin only got larger, appreciating how considerate Uraraka was. "I'm just doing some light reading. Come on, I insist." He really didn't mind the company, especially with someone so nice. Pino even made her way closer to the new guest, feeling comfortable in her presence.
"Not always. I was studying in my room before coming here. Needed to stretch my legs and get out for a bit." Rody took a sip of his coffee before continuing, a certain sparkle in his eyes now that his passion had been brought up due to the book. "It's super interesting if you're into planes and piloting and things like that. Otherwise, it might read as super boring." There were a lot of physics and algebra involved. Not the most exciting thing to most people.
Time flew by like the wind. Between classwork and trying to help Rody feel accommodated at UA, Ochako had barely enough time for herself!
But she decided to ask Hatsume for a new upgrade to her uniform and was passing the hallway when she noticed Rody's door to his guest room stood open. Sneaking a peak, she poked her head in but to her surprise he didn't seem to be there. Had he simply forgotten to close the door?
Scratching her head, she continued on her way to Hatsume when her stomach growled. Although she had a small lunch a few hours prior and wasn't very hungry, she still wanted to eat something.
I guess I'll meet Hatsume later.
With that thought, Ochako made her way to the kitchen to see if she could find a snack.

Pino flew back towards him with a loud chirp. It caused Rody to look up since she had only been flying around silently before. Something must have caught her attention.
Rody froze in place at the sight suddenly in front of him. His heart felt like it was going to leap out at any moment. He was so happy but so so worried at the same time. These emotions were stirring up within him and needed to be let out.
"..Izuku."
Rody prepared for the hug once he saw Deku take his first steps. Upon impact, he stumbled back a bit but kept them both up right nonetheless. His heart shattered at the sound and sight of Izuku sobbing. He quickly wrapped his arms around him, giving a tight, comforting squeeze.
It didn't take long for Rody to start tearing up, burying his face into the green mess of hair, holding him even closer.
"...Y-You had me worried sick..."
Izuku was tired. Exhausted, honestly. Physically, emotionally, and any other type of exhausted that existed. After Uraraka managed to convince the civilians to let him rest at U.A., the last of his adrenaline drained from him. He could barely stand, so it was no surprise when his male classmates lifted him into the air and carried him off to the bath.Â
Though, as he was being carted off, he managed to glance around at the familiar surroundings of the common area. Though heâd been away for nearly two months, it felt more like an entire year instead.Â
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted an oddly familiar pink bird flying across the living room. There was no way, right...?Â
There was no way he was here...!Â
He was just hallucinating from exhaustion. That had to be it! Still, Izuku could feel his heart ache as he was pulled into the bathroom.Â

Peering at Pino as Rody explained that she could be a little troublemaker, somehow Momo had a hard time believing that just from a first impression glance. âThis little one getting into trouble? What kind of trouble could she possibly get into aside from maybe playing with someoneâs food?â
âBut thatâs sweet youâve had her almost your entire life. Was she a wild bird that just happened to befriend you or did you get her as a present?â Her coloring suggested she could be wild, but admittedly Momo wasnât too familiar with things to do with birds.
A soft laugh came from Rody. âThatâs a good example right there.â He held Pino up in his hand as if to analyze her. âDonât let her looks fool you, though. Being this small allows her to be as sneaky as she wants. I wouldnât be surprised if everyoneâs hair ties started to go missing.â
âI got her as a gift from my dad.â Rody was relieved to have these sort of answers on hand. âI believe sheâs some sort of finch or a warbler. But you definitely donât see her kind of coloring a lot.â He lowered his arm back down to chest level, glancing between Momo and Pino.
âDid ya want to pet her?â
đŸ - Yes Pino is a pet
x đŸ - Do they have any pets?
((Yeah, ya know, Pino definitely is just a pet. Very rare pink bird ya know. A finch- a warbler. A pretty girl. Nothing else. Small little bundle of joy and soft feathers that people adore and will give affection to any time of day.))
âHey, theyâre not wrong. Red suits you just as well.â He had a smug yet friendly smile plastered on his face as he gripped Redâs hand and gave it a nice shake. âEi?â He parroted the nickname. âNice, short, and easy to remember. Great to meet ya.â Rody still struggled with Japanese names from time to time, so he was grateful for the shorter option.Â
Pino squawked much to Rodyâs embarrassment, even if he didnât show it. The brunette was taken aback by the sudden question and the sudden mention of Deku.
âI... do.â There was really only one reasonable explanation he could think of. âYou must be one of his hero friends then? From UA?â Wait- did that mean Deku talked about him to his friends? How much did that nerd say?
@rody-soulâ replied to your post:
*very slowly hides Pino out of sight*
    âUwaâwhatcha got there?â
His smile widened at the class president's permission. âGreat!â Rody hopped a few times, as if to warm up his legs, while he moved farther away from the edge to get some good running distance.
He was radiating confidence as he got into a running position, even though he hadnât done this in a while. Rody trusted that his body would know what to do naturally after doing parkour for so many years.
And away he went, sprinting past the hero-in-training and launching himself off the edge of the building. It was nice to feel the wind rush against him like this again. After the hangtime over the large gap had ended, Rodyâs feet hit the ground first as the rest of his body followed in a somersault-type roll. It was a hard landing due to the the distance of the jump, but it was a landing nonetheless.
He made it!

although rody was right in the fact that iida would save him if something were to happen to him in this session, iida was still worried that the jump was too much of a gap.Â
âyeah, butâŠâ he would take a breath as he scanned the jump once more and shrugged his shoulders. âalright, if you think you can do it then go right ahead and i will be there to save you if anything happens.â his legs were itching to run anyway, but if rody thought he could do this, iida was going to let him. this was training after all, if they didnât push themselves then what good would this be?

âSo youâre admitting I was right?â Though itâs phrased like a question, down to the intonation even, the underlying sense is that he doesnât really expect it to be answered. Nor he needs it; he can read between the lines well.
The next part comes easy, as itâs one Izuku knows best. Money is, after all, the best motivator there is. For most people, but thatâs the beautiful thing in it all: it means that it works nine times out of ten.
âThe worldâs safety has no price,â the villain reassures in a light tone. For the persona he has created for this purpose, it may sound innocent enough: just another person relieved he is one step closer to ensure the good guys are going to win again. For the reality⊠the connexion doesnât present itself as crystal clear. âI have been given an open account. You want five thousand, you get five thousand, that kind of stuff, you get the gist,â he finishes with a shrug, though a bit quieter this time. Better not to let anybody else hear that, or they might get some stupid ideas.
Not that he canât handle a robbery, but thereâs more important things right now.
âWouldnât get too cocky if I were you, still.â Logical, isnât it? Say a wrong number, either too small and too high, and poof! Suspicion arises, and itâs all gone as if it were never there. âWe can do half before, and half after.â
His eyes narrowed at that. Rody wasn't going to agree or disagree verbally. The guy had his attention, for now.
Rody practically mocked such a corny sentence in his mind. The worldâs safety has no price. Yeah, sure, but how much are you willing to pay me for its safety? He did his best not to react in any particular way at the hypothetical amount that was stated.
Five thousand? He didn't even make that much in a month! Rody wasn't a truly greedy person. He always took what he could, would sometimes try to negotiate, but never pushed it. And if he ever was greedy, it was for good reason. He had two younger siblings to feed and take care of. Any amount helped.
And five thousand was an amount that would help him out immensely.
"Who says I'm getting cocky?" He retorted with a smirk. Even if the other backed out of the second half of the deal, twenty five hundred was still plenty, but of course it wasn't preferable if five thousand was possible. "I understand how this works. I respect it." Did Rody respect him though? That was a different question.
If he was in on this deal now, Rody was going to have to peek into that memory card with all the Humarise info on it that he should have turned in to the officials in retrospect just to make sure where this formula could be. âI donât want to do any exchanging while on the job, ya know?â He kept his voice low. âYou can give me half outside after my shift ends. Then weâll meet outside again... tomorrow night? Iâll have what you need by then.â Rody stuck out his hand in classic deal-making fashion. âDo we have a deal?â
he wants his cookie so effing bad....
ooc - Apologies for the silence here recently! Itâs the last two weeks of the semester, so a lot of work is being done on my end!
