I didn’t feel comfortable talking about the awesome time I had at @shortrunseattle without mentioning what happened after...
That said, I had a great time and met a lot of really amazing people and if I haven’t responded to you yet, it’s because I’m having a bit of a rough time being a functioning human in light of the election. I promise I will get back to you.

So if you go to grad school for art therapy, you may end up taking a ferry out to an island to visit an aged psychoanalytic art therapist and present her with drawings of serial killers in exchange for her wisdom.
That's what I will be doing with my Saturday!
I'm giving her a picture of Jeffrey Dahmer and if the trip turns out to be some sort of elaborate murder mystery, please avenge my death.
Also, a collage piece about Edith Kramer and Margaret Naumburg, two early art therapists.

Hello dear.. Please don't skip my message My name is Mohammed, from the afflicted and destroyed Gaza Strip, where life has become impossible and tragic, and where we see death and pain every moment and every day. Our children suffer from hunger, pain, deprivation and lack of medicine. The war deprived them of playing, school, and their most basic rights. They are now suffering from woes and tragedies. 😭😭 During the war, my wife gave birth to a child and I could not find any milk for him Our conditions are tragic, and we live in a shelter that lacks the minimum requirements for life and is plagued by diseases and epidemics Please help me save my children from the hell of the Gaza Strip and provide them with a decent life 😔 Your assistance, no matter how simple, is enough to ease the burden on us and help us overcome our crisis. Please sympathize with me and donate to me or contribute to sharing the campaign and spreading it widely
please give if you can and share

maskedjoker replied to your photoset: I really hope this is a joke. I don’t think it’s a very good message for men to clean better by saying “women deserve better” I mean seriously. Again, if it’s truly only a joke and not at all serious fine. But if it isnt. This particular chapter is meant somewhat facetiously. I mean, the most important thing I learned since going on testosterone was not that people with hairy butts need to wipe more; I’ve learned and realized far more important things.
That said... I don’t see how “men should clean their asses for the good of the world and the comfort of their partners” is not a good message.
The first chapter from my comix on life and learning after seven hundred and seventy-eight days on testosterone!
THIS COMIC IS INTENDED FOR MATURE READERS -- contains nudity, cigarettes, alcohol, and descriptions of gender dysphoria
The other chapters are
Trans Boy's Complaint - negotiating identity in light of gendered perception
Nutrisco et Extinguo - on the myth of testosterone rage
Double Stellar Black Hole - the experience of gender dysphoria when you don't know being transgender is a thing that exists
Adam Kadmon - for the first transgender man I ever knew 5.5 x 8.5, over 40 pages, surreptitiously printed in college computer labs
$6, plus shipping!

Hey I just wanted to tell you that that Bart Chris Bobby counseling cartoon made my day as well as a buddy of mine. Just wanted to thank you
Thank you for messaging me!
No question, I just wanted to say that your strip "Clients’ names and personal information have been omitted to retain their privacy" was the coolest thing I've seen in a long, long time. Really amazing!
Thank you!
Will you be making any more comics about Bart and Chris, perhaps going to more therapy sessions or digging a little deeper into their personal lives together?
I might? But probably not for awhile. I’ve drawn and posted everything that I’d already planned. I have several other art projects that I’m working on and my next quarter of grad school starts in a couple of days, so I’ll be very busy.
wow, the second half of the comic is just as incredible! the poly ending is so nice and feelgood, and the therapy setting is so cathartic I just. it's so good. thank you.
Aw, thank you! As much as I like dark, brooding, morally ambiguous movies, books, and comics, I’m still a sucker for happy endings. Especially for queer characters. And I feel like Bobby is the kind of person that could balance poly relationships pretty well.
i mean i love everything about your therapy comics but can i mention how much i love that joseph has an alien tattoo on his shoulder? that's my favorite part honestly
:D glad you like it! at first I just thought it would be cool, but then I was like “wow that’s actually really symbolic of joseph’s ethnic heritage and the bio father vs lived father conflict” and took it super seriously
hey can i ask you something? years ago i remember seeing a blog with a queer transgender man persona/self insert who wore a mask and i was deeply in love with that blog. was that you? i'm sorry if this is a weird or insulting question, its just your art styles seem very similar and this question was killing me
ahhh, yeeeah, that was me. I had some family find my art blog and so I took down all my personal comics. I may repost them at some point because it’s like, those family members have already seen them and I know they still check this blog, so cat’s already out of the bag or whatever. I didn’t want to change my blog name or my pen name because changing that 50 million time makes it kind of hard to develop a “brand” or reputation as an artist. glad you liked those comics tho.
Hey, I was hust wondering if you were able to sell any more hard copies of your Bobby therapist zine? Its beautiful. Thanks!
Thank you! I’m in the process of moving to a new place (where my boyfriend and I will have a room for an art studio!!) and all my hard copies are packed up already. They should be back up for sale by the first week or two of October.
