Geten being illiterate might be actually canon, as Horikoshi explained he never go to a school and rather trained his quirk all his life. And that's kinda sad if you think about it.

He really is the perfect child soldier, coming from a family like the Himuras who are elitist jerks obssesed with status and power (and they even practice inbreeding between their clans) capable of sell their members like objects no matter the gender as both him and Rei were sold very young for different porpuse. And Geten was sold to a quirk elitist maniac who probably brainwashed him into serve to the ideology of a guy from 300 years ago, and Re-Destro is okay with Geten not having any kind of education apparently.

Yeah that's a rough life for sure...

But also a gold mine for interactions!

Especially between him and his biological family.

In my AU all the Todoroki kids, Geten and Cider are cousins by the Himura side, at some point all them should be reunited in one way or another. Think about that sweet drama...

The parallels you made between Mizunami and Geten are brilliant. Hope it can develop into a good dynamic in which both can lear from each other rather than just being enemies.

The whole cinderIzu is great and I welcome with open arms. For my au, I have an idea for them meet.

Again, BK is a footnote in her life and Izumi is not dedicating all her time and energy in thinking of him. (She hears how his quirk remains the same, no quirk awakening bs, how bk's attitude got worse and how Aizawa is sure BK is the future)

Izumi hears about the mpa here and there and ...is not impressed. I also live for the moments when a character takes of their mask and reveals to be hot, and Cider isn't the exception. I mean can you blame Midoriya for what him?

Is funny you mention the whole plot of Cider helping Izu to steal stuff from Re-Destro company, as I also have this idea of him making an operation to steal from a werehouse full of valuable tech and support items that Detnerant (I think that's the company name) sells into the black market.

They would have success stealing a lot of merch they later sell to get money, but also Cider found a particularly expensive prototype of a high tech glider he decides to keep for himself and use to compliment his surfing style. As Mizunami is really into surfing in my AU, like he seems to be in canon.

Oh I forgot to mention before but the vigilante name Cider/Mizunami will use for my AU will be "Splashdown". Be free to use it if you like the name.

And since you mentioned Geten here, do you think he will have some role in the story? As I mentioned before I love the idea of Cider being a Himura, but also he probably was rejected by his clan because his quirk is water instead of ice and the Himuras seems to be the kind of elitist jerks to would dishonor a child for born with a "imperfect" quirk.

Which would create a lot of tension between Cider and Geten, especially is they reconogice each other. Geten hating Cider for being "a failed Himura" and Cider will hate Geten because he's just a "an attack dog" for Re-Destro.

Like it could be just air cannon being used differently or something like that, as Shigaraki is kind of propeling himself rather than float.

Besides is fun to imagine AFO being so petty that he would deny Shigaraki having his original quirk in any capacity just for the lols.

Here's a translation. So it's a quirk that works sort of like the way a double jump in a video game would work and allows you to float. Its pretty much a variant of Nana's just had rings when used to propel itself.

There's another panel i can't find where Tomura uses it too and you can see the rings around his feet.

So...in a beach day, Izumi in her bikini is a character development visually.

Cinder is allowed to admire...she is a pretty girl.

He uses his quirk and teaches her how to surf.

Oh I was totally into making a good beach day for them. It's the quintessential form of fanservice after all.

The orca thing was actually canon? I always thought it cames from that "smash" comic that was explicitly non canon and self parody.

Anyways, while I'm not super into big boobs for woman to be considered attractive, is a fact that if Midoriya was a woman she would have the same atributes as Inko who certainly has very generous proportions.

And Cider surely likes that, and oh boy he sure isn't shy to express how much he likes the body of his girl (scars included of course).

And do you think Izumi is into guy with big pecs? Because Cider got some nice ones and he loves use tank tops just to make them look better.

Them having a good day in the water is all what they deserve after dealing with a lot of shit. And Izumi is a quick learner so by the end of the day she would be surfing like a professional, impressing Cider.

I like to think they would end the day looking at the sunset sitting together on the warm sand, Izumi resting her head on Mizunami shoulder and he has an arm wrapped around her waist. They got a kissing sessions of course, what a way to end a good day.

Not goofy goofy for Cider, not at Inosuke level, more like Midoriya is the one who tries to stay serious and focused while Cider is like "just chill bro".

Besides I imagine Cider would more street smart for grown in a more populated area and his charisma and confidence makes him better at communicating with other people, while Midoriya is still a bit shy and awkward. Plus I imagine Izu would be very afraid of demons (more than normal for a slayer but not Zenitsu level) and he needs to work on that while the story goes, while Cider is kinda indiferent to demons, maybe with a bit of excesive confidence.

For now Muzan is the villain in general, I can't see DS story working otherwise. And he would be their villain in a very general sense, as he's by defaul the enemy of every slayer, but their more personal enemies will be other MHA character reworked into demons.

However I can't see AFO working on a Demon Slayer based AU unless you make fundamentals changes to the story structure, as that story makes very clear since the first minute that Muzan is the only big bad and every other villains is under him.

And while I can see other MHA antagonist reworked as demons, not AFO himself because it won't work with his overall character to being the servant of someone else.

What do you think about another crossover AU for SeltzerBunny? This time with Demon Slayer.

It's kinda easy to adapt the respective canon quirks of our dear couple into Breathing Styles.

Cider/Mizunami obviously would be a water breathing user, and for this AU I like to think he would be tsuguko of Sabito who survived this time.

While Midoriya is a wind breathing user (cause you know air force and float and green aesthetic... whatever) who was saved by Masachika (Yeah he's also alive at least for now) from the lower moon who killed his mother.

That lower moon would be no other than BK, who is a promising demon in ascension who is capable of generate explosions like his quirk in MHA.

And this would make Midoriya quest for revenge his principal motivation.

Still thinking about the details for this AU and who should be the other characters adapted into it, as MHA having such a big cast compared to DS force me to pick only the necessary lol.

So while I did saw the first season of DS and do think it's well paced and better than MHA in every way -not a big achievement to behold. I didnt saw the other seasons, I got spoilers here and there. My point is how some of the names here are unknown to me.

That being said...I do like more aus for this ship.

Ironic how Horikoshi seems to love body horror so much, as he tries to add it in any opportunity he has, but he fails on a very basic level of any kind of horror: believable reactions among the other characters.

Like any amateur writer that wants to create some kind of horror atmosphere already knows that as readers our mind really connect with the reaction of the characters in the story, more than just having a reaction to the gruesome images.

If the characters themselves don't care about the frankenstein esque bioweapons made out of people why should I care?

They act like if is totally normal seeing teenages or even kids turned into that.

I do like how both Cinder and Izumi have anonymity at their disposal, yes people know Cinder exists but they do not know what he looks like or have any info- can´t help to contrast with POSSUM that blows the element of surprise for...nothing.
