I don't think they were bites of appreciation :( bye noodle noodle. leaving you in the woods. Going to treat this stuff now
The ninja are majestic creatures
HHHHH I CANT PICK JUST ONE OF UR WIPS BUT UHM- An Underworldly Visit????????
You're the second person who's asked me about this one đ¤Ł. Not that I'm complaining tho.
It's an unfinished fic written from pre-pilot Garmadon's pov (after he was banished, of course) and it's just him having a seemingly normal day in the Underworld only for a portal to suddenly open up and spit out two unconscious strangers at his feet.
One of them is none other than our resident Green Ninja â who Garmadon suspects is a student his brother recruited and sent to the Underworld to challenge him, while the other one is a girl around the Green Ninja's age with the most bleached pinned up hair he's ever seen in his life.
And on top of that, there's also something else lying on the ground; an Oni Mask.
So Garm does the obvious. He snaps at the Skulkin to shove these two in a cage and takes the mask for himself to examine it â it's definitely an Oni mask, alright, but how the heck did these two have it?
Some time passes, and he receives news that one of the prisoners has awakened. Hearing this, Garm wastes no time making his way to the Underworld dungeons, and sees the conscious one is none other than the Green Ninja.
Upon seeing him, Lloyd's eyes go wide. Garm is highly confused at this, and just when he is about to make a sarcastic remark about trespassing, Lloyd calls him Father. That completely takes the King of Shadows by surprise, but it doesn't last long, because the next thing that happens is that Garmadon immediately slaps him.
Garm then starts snarling at him for stooping low enough to masquerade as his son, because 1) he hasn't been banished long enough for him to suddenly have an almost adult son and 2) last time he checked, Lloyd had red eyes, not green. It's only then that Lloyd realizes that he time-traveled.
Unfortunately, when he starts asking Garm what year it is, Garm's only thought is that this ninja's screwing with him â which really pisses off our Dark Lord, by the way. After a while, Lloyd starts getting frustrated himself and Harumi wakes up. Garm's just about to snark something at her as well but goes silent once he sees her reaction to him. She looks excited, as though she's just met her idol. Lloyd gets really irritated seeing this and these two get into an argument with Garmadon not understanding anything.
Inside the cage, Lloyd's basically just putting all the blame on Harumi by accusingly saying that she definitely did something with the mask, and now it's her fault his own father doesn't want to believe he's his son. Harumi's just unfazed at this â because technically, she got to meet Garmadon. This infuriates Lloyd even more, and soon, there's nothing other than yelling coming from the cage.
This goes on until Garm himself steps in and barks at them both to stop. The two go silent â which is an absolute relief to Garmadon's eardrums (who can blame him?). Then, he starts asking who they are, and why they have the mask. Lloyd opens his mouth to once again say he's his son only for Harumi to cut him off by saying who she is.
...and I've got nothing else to add after that. đ
This one is one of those time-travel fics I promised I would chuck in the No Parties To Crash So Why Not The Past series â but obviously, there's only one fic currently in that thing â so yeah, this one's still depressingly unfinished at that moment.
So, you guys know those cosmetic surgery vids right? The ones plastic surgeons make analysing celebrities? Well, since the ninja technically qualify as celebs-
There are definitely discussions like that about him. Let's just face it, this looks like a whole new person.
TW: BLOOD
I miss when Harumi was just crazy
I donât like her as a love interest, she was better as a villain
Yesterday's Tea: A wholesome Prompt
The boys get some Yesterday's Tea and gives it to Lloyd acting like it's some normal tea. The next day, Lloyd comes out of his room being tiny as heck in his gi and being really short. Everyone started to reminisce with the good old days, Jay wanted to hear his evil laugh, Kai got him back in his old sweater, Zane even went as far as dying his old Gi pink. The tea doesn't last more than a week because it wasn't as powerful as the real thing but they were able to finally give Lloyd a childhood, teaching him how to catch, bedtime stories, slumber parties, bringing him and picking him up from school. Everyone enjoyed their time, giving Lloyd the childhood he deserved. Then, the week passed and he eventually grew back to fit into his gi again but atleast he got to experience what every kid should have experienced in their lives. A wonderful, childhood.
Movie AU Shenanigans
Lloyd and Morro go ghost hunting which ends up on them running back to the monastery
Yes Morros first instinct is to carry Lloyd because he probably would freeze
Bonus:
It was Nyas Idea and theyâre definitely showing everyone else
Au with a surprising lack of morro:
Garmadon comes back all evil in season 9 like he does in cannon, ready to destroy and take over the world with no memories of his past life... until he sees Lloyd. He dosent remember him in the slightest but he sees this lil oni pup being so angry and calling him dad and oh boy his instincts kick in. Anyway point of the story is Garmadon adopts his son despite having no idea who he is and while Lloyd is sad his dad has no memories at least he still has his dad (even if he is trying to teach him how to kill and destroy)
Starset - Something Wicked
Is this where the liar ends?
Dark where the light had beenÂ
Lost at the war within
Out of myself, I feel it crawlingÂ
How can I tell if this is the ending?Â
Out of myself it began evolvingÂ
I am not well, repent I'm guilty

[A scene that I had planned to be in a fanfic of mine that was discontinued but has a rewrite in process. Enjoy.]
From the moment his son had cleansed his blood of the evil that was the Devourer's venom, Garmadon was a good man.
Or at least he had tried to be. And here he was, chained up in a realm he could no longer remember the name of, memories drifting further and further apart until he was stranded, alone. But still, he held on.
He missed his son. He missed Lloyd.
Garmadon only wished he was able to see him again. It had been too long, a memory of Lloyd's face, green eyes like his filled with the torment that Morro had brought upon him, along with the permanent eye bags that crinkled with Lloyd's uneasy smile.
Time kept stretching on under endless sky, or what he could judge of it. He was losing faith. This was what he deserved anyway. Endless imprisonment, a price paid for sacrificing himself. Or was it for destroying the lives of many?
Then he heard it. A call from beyond. From the emerald green murkiness, came a feminine voice. Garmadon yelped in his spot as winds suddenly whiplashed him as they passed, heading in a certain direction. He could do nothing as the air-turned blades slashed at his skin.
A laugh followed. Garmadon looked down at himself, attempting to distract himself from the pain. A chill washed over him, instead of the relief he so desperately wanted. A line, dark as night, began to snake up his skin, turning all it touched into the same colour.
His left hand was already in such condition, lines thickening as they curled up his arm, reaching deep into his bones and stealing away the warmth that lay underneath. Like a bad omen, he felt its evil grasp him in its unforgiving grip.
It was not yet done. Garmadon whimpered quietly, attempting to fight it with crumbling memories of a family left behind, torn apart by his departure. There was no stopping his unbecoming. His return to the old self.
A scream tore itself from his throat, tormented cries lost in the raging wind that hurtled past him. Something he could no longer feel on his skin. A scream so raw it left what remained of his lungs aching with heartbreak, with the great loss that came with this, tears beginning to stream down his face.
No one else but him heard.
And then the worst came.
''I call upon thee lord of many names. Lord of Destruction! King of Shadows! Lord Garmadon! Garmadon!'' The voice called again, this time clearer despite the wind.
''Who... calls... me!?'' The growl echoed from him. But it wasn't him, it couldn't have been... Garmadon had worked so hard... but to come back to this? The chains rattled in their place. He felt a heat searing his eyes, red briefly covering his vision.
Then it was gone. Like he had just begun a race, Garmadon- no, Lord Garmadon, began to pant, leaning over. The rattling suddenly became a pain in his ears. Another growl and he tugged at them. A strength that wasn't there before clawed at his restraints.
Lord Garmadon snarled as he began to break free, the metal breaking under newfound strength, then looked around as he tried to locate the source of the voice that had called to him.
The last of Sensei Garmadon was gone once both of his restraints were broken. And whoever needed him now, whoever that was, now only a blurry memory of a boy with blond hair that would never get him back.
Her voice came again. Garmadon stumbled towards the sound, relying only on his hearing, his sight useless to him. All that mattered now was the voice. And only the voice.
It all fell silent. The wind stopped. He faltered. There was no familiar sound, the one thing he had grown to want to get to was gone.
Lord Garmadon screamed at the walls, clawing at his confines, falling to the ground as his twisted hopes were dashed. He narrowed his eyes. There was a way.
And he was going to escape.
At the Temple of Resurrection, the altar lay bare of the items it once held, the room dark and emptied. Then, the room was lit with purple flames.
A hand emerged from the pedestal.
Something wicked this way comes.
You know your an old Ninjago fan when you remember...
When the original 4 ninja had to use the golden weapons to use their elements
When Nya was "just Kai's sister"
Thought Lloyd was just the silly villian of the week
When finding out Zane is a nindroid was a big twist
When everyone thought Kai was going to be the green ninja
âŹand Lloyd being the green ninja was a major twist
When you thought Zane's death was permanent
When the serpentine were villains
Jaya wasn't canon
When Wu went by "Sensei" instead of "Master"
When Cole did the Triple Tiger Sashay for the first time
When the Overload was their toughest enemy
Zane's funny switch
When Lloyd had a bowl cut
When Garmadon wasn't a deadbeat dad
Reblog with your favorite early season moment
I just had to do this.
Lloyd's not going down without a fight.
Inspired by this post:
