i just think it's funny and a bit sad that lando has to keep explaining over and over that while he is a friendly person with good relationships with many of his fellow drivers including and especially max, those friendships don't negatively impact how competitive he is during a race. like people really seem to think that he would pull punches or avoid fighting on track, instead of processing that racing is his job and his passion, and everything gets pushed away when he puts on the helmet, except for winning. it's like.. infantilizng and disrespectful and most of all annoying to keep getting the 'too nice to really compete' accusations lol
