i lied, put your clothes back on. we're going to talk about how unnecessary the jason grace hate is. i see so much animosity towards his character and comparisons against jason and percy when: his memories and life were literally robbed by a god, then he dedicated his life to serving every single minor god he could, and he died serving another god, he was the perfect son and soldier. he was fair and always wanted what others wanted, sacrificed himself multiple times. he never had the chance to be someone he could have because his life was stripped away from him at only 16 years old. yet so much of the fandom hates him.
anyways just a thought. jason grace makes me fall to my knees, and i truly believe he is one of the best characters in hoo.

So it is a common misconception on the interweb that Jason doesn’t have a sense of humor.
Personally, I think his humor goes unnoticed by a lot of readers because it is relatively strange and uncommon (a side affect of possessing the INTP personality type).
Also, a lot of his humor is not necessarily spoken. A lot of the humor lies in the context of the situation or in his narration.
Nevertheless, it is present and you just need to pay attention.
For example, he is very sarcastic…
He also uses a lot of situational irony in his humor…
He is a smart-ass at times…
He is funny when he recognizes tactless or inappropriate topics…
Some of his quotes are hilarious out of context…
His humorous outlook on life is a bit dark sometimes…
honest to god Annabeth had the realest crash out ever w/ Rachel because by the time Rachel helps out Percy and Annabeth with the quest in botl this is after Percy's blown up Mount St. Helen's. So imagine this from Annabeth's pov: you finally kissed Percy and then he dies, no wait actually he didn't die, and while you've been off mourning him, he refuses to say where he's been for the past weeks but you know. you know exactly where he's been. and now he and Chiron are telling you that you need help on your quest, and who does Percy think you need help from?? Oh. Of course. The mortal girl. His "friend" that you didn't even know he had until she just showed up that day you and he were supposed to spend together.... yeah no I would've lost it. Annabeth sweetie you could've been even meaner and it would've been an under-reaction honestly.
would you fall in love with me again, but it’s jodi and kent from stardew valley
defending jason grace online is not enough, I need to buy a gun
remus lupin lookalike competition in my bed
Percabeth is the only ship ever, half the time Percy thinks she's plotting to kill him (he's scared but weirdly into it) but then you get into her head and she's thinking about what flowers are going to be at their wedding
