The way some people don't even TRY to think about sexualities or genders more deeper then just "cis and trans people" is insane like they'll only think about binary trans women and men and binary women and men but like y'know what type of binary I mean, right? Everyone completely forgets multigender people exist or abrosexual/fluid sexuality, nonbinary people in general and it pisses me off! Some people will even act like they support multigender people and nonbinary people, maybe also abrosexual people and try to be "inclusive" but when there's a complex identity, they think like a caveman!

like I swear someone on fuckin TikTok or Pinterest could hear something like...I don't know a flag for people who identify with their gender at birth but are also trans and immediately forget nonbinary people and multigender people exist!!

i find this really funny because before i finally transitioned (like a month before) i was telling my then boyfriend about how i wanted to have a dick and asked him if he ever wanted to have a vagina and he went “???? no???” and thats when i found out that wanting the opposite sex organ is NOT a normal thought most people have :/

all of my bsfs when i had told them about my want also agreed with me and ironically half of them are trans (one is a trans man and one is genderfluid) LMAO

so in the same way that us as trans men will never experience the issues trans women face, neither will trans women.

i keep seeing other trans people say stuff like this, a lot from certain transfems and its so disheartening to see people from our own community treat us like shit. infighting doesnt fix shit. you are making things worse especially for YOURSELVES by putting other trans people down. if i were to speak about other black people as if they were villians then i cannot be surprised when i am soon also treated like a villian. something something stones at glass house something something leopard eating face party. the trans community can talk about ALL our issues without making one group seem like shitty people just for existing, without putting them down.

you genuinely are no better than transphobes if you act like this. just because you’re trans does not mean youre not transphobic.

at the end of the day, we are still the minority because we are trans. at the end of the day when theyre trying to make us ILLEGAL, they will not care about how much hatred you’re putting out towards other trans people, like yes great! you helped them cause even more separating the trans community more! this is exactly what #they want so instead of helping each other, we are just pooling hatred so guess what! when they get rid of us, we wont be willing to help each other. youre acting just like an undercover fbi agent right now babes with this infighting talk.

for anyone who genuinely thinks this negatively about other fellow trans people, i beg of you to realize that this is exactly what they want. they want the infighting and hatred. and to play this game that became popular back in like 2015-2016

Original post is viewable through my profile. Apologies, since I’m on mobile, I couldn’t hyperlink. The TLDR: my doctor called me on Monday and informed me that their practice would no longer be providing treatment for gender affirming care as a result of a recent presidential Executive Order, even though the EO was for people under 19. Even though I’m 25.

Also, because it was asked a few times, this happened in Michigan, and I’ve been on HRT for 5+ years. It’s a practice that includes like 15+ physicians, and I think that the decision was made over my PCP’s head, given that she once told me that she literally moved states to be able to provide gender affirming care here.

First off, genuinely, thank you so much for all the replies and messages. I genuinely felt frozen after that phone call and didn’t know where to start, and you all really helped me get my feet off the ground.

A couple people mentioned contacting the ACLU, which, truthfully, I thought, “there’s no way that the ACLU will get back to me” but I sent a message anyway. They actually called me a few hours after my post and we talked about the Executive Orders and my rights. They offered to fax my provider a letter reminding them of my rights and some other legal terms. It’s crazy how a post on reddit resulted in my name being on the official ACLU letterhead.

Anyway, today my doctor’s physician assistant called me and shared that their practice is reversing their decision and they will continue to provide gender affirming care. I’m still keeping a bunch of the resources that y’all shared saved, including Planned Parenthood, Plume, and looking into a private endocrinologist.

This whole experience just reminded me how great this community is. I appreciate y’all <3"

my issue with my anxiety is that the way i typically deal with it at home, i cannot do the same thing at work / in public.

its the reason why i want to start anxiety meds but my mom said that i should try looking at other coping mechanisms first before jumping into something that changes my brain chemistry (shes a nurse and shes for finding other ways to deal with issues before taking something that changes your brain chemistry. which i understand and agree with!!)

im just tired of the anxiety tbh i just wanna live a normal life without the constantly shaking, not being able to breathe properly, fear, etc.
