So this is the second part to this trilogy series. Once again this story is on an OC created by @littlemerzoste . This was inspired by the song “Rewrite the stars” from The Greatest Showman.

Warnings: Angst, mild fighting, overall sad

Summary: After waking up and getting into a fight, Danniela and Alejandro go there separate ways.

Hot Mexican sunlight streamed though the window as Danniela woke her self up. Remembering from last night she smiled at the wonderful time she had with Alejandro. That man knew how to please.

Taking a quick shower, she then found her clothes neatly washed and folded on the sink. Alejandro must have done that. He was sweet. Getting dressed she made her way to the living room/ kitchen area. Light pored though the windows a nice breeze drifted into the house. The smell of coffee wafted to her. She saw Alejandro reading a newspaper while sipping on his hot beverage. “Got some for me?” She ask, witch made the man jump. “Oh mi amor you scared me.” He groaned, setting his mug down before he spilt it as well as his newspaper. Standing up, Alejandro gently took her shoulders by the sides and leaned down to kiss her passionately. “Good morning to you”

“Good morning.” Danniela smiled and kissed back.

“Did you sleep well?” Alejandro stared into her eyes.

“I did” she gave a small yawn. “I’ll be leaving soon. Got to take care of that mission.”

“Must you go so soon Mi Amor?” He sighed and walked to the kitchen to fix her a cup of coffee.

“You and I both know we can’t have a stable relationship.”

“I wasn’t aware of that.” He handed her, her coffee, in which she thanked.

“Alejandro…. You and I… our jobs are too separate… it wouldn’t work.”

“Mi amor… you know how much I love you… you mean the world to me… I love you. You know I want you… it’s not a Secret I try to hide. I know you want me, so don’t keep saying our hand are tied.”

“Alejandro it’s not that simple…” she looked down sadly. “You think it's easy. You think I don't wanna run to you. But there are mountains, and there are doors that we can't walk through…. I know you're wondering why because we're able to be

Just you and me within these walls, but when we go outside, you're gonna wake up and see that it was hopeless after all.

Alejandro took her hands in his and stood up with her “Baby we can Re-write the stars. We can Say we were made to be. Nothing could keep us apart We be the ones we were meant to find. It's up to you, and it's up to me, No one can say what we get to be. Maybe the world could be ours Today.”

“Everything keeps us apart.” Danniela’s tears fall on her face as Alejandro brushed them away. “I am not the one you were meant to find”

“What’s holding you back” he whispered to her.

“I’m scared…” Danniela hugged him. “I can’t…. I can’t give you children… I can’t have a stable job… I don’t know it I could love you the same way you love me…. Everything is keeping me away from you.”

“oh Amor… my beautiful princess… we are happy to have kids to make us happy, there’s a ton of kids here in the city that could need adoption. Rudy already sees you as someone to look up to.” Alejandro chuckled dryly. “Hell, If that’s outside of the question I have a ranch for a reason. We could get animals and such… as for your job, as much as I don’t care for it and I wish you weren’t in that field, I would respect it. And everyday I would wait for you… you know I would.” He looked at her “I know you love me the same as I do. All I want is to fly with you

“It feels impossible” Danniela looked at him.

“It's not impossible” Alejandro stroked her cheek.

“Say that it's possible”

“It is possible”

“How do we Re-write the stars? Say you’ll be mine?”

“Nothing can keep us apart” He hummed softly. “You are the one one I was meant to find. It’s up to you and it’s up to me.”

“No one can say what we get to be” Danniela swayed with him in his arms but her heart was hurting from knowing she would never see him agian. Knowing that her life would never match his… knowing her past would never grant them happiness of children or love.

“You know I want you, It's not a secret I try to hide. But I can't have you, we're bound to break and my hands are tied.” Danniela removed herself and grabbed her things “Goodbye Alejandro…. I…. I will miss you.” Without another word she left. A car was waiting for her at the end of the driveway, she had called a cab to pick her up knowing this might happen. Alejandro stood there, watching with a broken heart. He loved her so much, it killed him to see her leave, but there was nothing he could do to stop her. This was her choice.

In the cab Danniela cried silently, knowing this was for the best, but it hurt so much more than she thought. Gathering her self and hardening her heart, she told the cab driver to take her to the bar where she left her car overnight. She did not look back. The past was in the past and right now she had a mission to complete. Nowhere in her job which she ever find love or peace. She would be a loner for the rest of her life and now that she known that, she wish she had known that sooner. However, she did take one slight glance back at the ranch, Alejandro was still on the porch, watching. ‘Time to let go Alejandro’ she thought to herself. ‘You need to move on like you have done with others.’

But now was work, now she needed to focus and so did Alejandro.
