I’m not sure how to interpret this. I’ll take this as a chance to ramble about Akimoya and Katsuhiko third wheel

Akira and Tomoya get together before Katsuhide can, and Katsuhiko is the ONLY one incredibly confused. He’s talking with Hide or Iza in the same room as Akimoya and while they’re holding hands, he doesn’t understand why Hide comments how he knew they’d get together or how iza teases how two strangers were able to realize their feelings faster before two long-life friends.

“It isn’t appropriate to assume a bond beyond friendly feelings just because they’re the opposing gender as the other, Hide.”

“…Ah, you mean you and Arakawa?”

Hell even Tomoya assumed Katsuhide were dating before them. He just thought Hide was a-okay with his bf having short-term feelings for a pretty lady. I mean, Akira didn’t bash him for thinking Iza was pretty too in the prologue because she is. Isn’t that how feelings work???????

I find it rlly funny there’s like four Chou fans (Tomoya, Chiemi, Katsuhiko, Satoru) cramped one limited space with their idol. Like it would be peak ch.1 scene if Chou performs and all four fans have varying reactions. We haven’t seen 3/4 of the fans interact with Chou yet but I’m calling bets on Chiemi or Katsuhiko being the first ones to cry tears of joy at a concert.

(If Katsuhiko likes idols he definitely knows about the ULTIMATE idol, Satoru has been said to have his username consist of being a fan of Akira and Chou, and Chiemi is gf)

The statements ‘Akira finds Tomoya annoying and bullies him’ and ‘Akira treasures Tomoya the most in the cast’ are definitely two statements that are both true and already co-exist + accepted, but I would like to see it acknowledged more by other cast members in canon. Like I want Akira to mention about how loud Tomoya is to Kyouran but he keeps staring at her matching friendship bracelets with him
