NRC MUSIC FEST MASTER POST

“Night Raven, are you ready to rock!!”

This is my submission for @twstinginthewind ‘s NRC music fest event! As soon as I saw this event I knew I had to get my girl Mina (OC) in it.

For this performance the pop music club and Mina will be joining together to play Barracuda by Heart (but Mina just knows it form Shrek). We hope you enjoy!

Just heard the most devastating Red Dead audio and now I’m thinking about Cowboy AU KakaGai….

*looks at tablet forlornly* hmmmmmm….👀👀

In my mind he found the picture when he was in early days in ANBU in some abandoned locker and just like… kept it. He was a young teen with his only outlets being violence and atrocities so a well loved picture of a sexy mystery man really got him through the thick of it.

He had no idea who it was until MUCH later, but by that point he’d already grown attached to it so he couldn’t just get rid of it.

Kakashi is DEVESTATED he thought he was finally free from the worst of it but no.. his Kohai had to choose betrayal 🤷‍♀️

I was actually 3/4 of the way through drawing it originally with Genma instead of Tenzo, but then I thought “y’know what would be hilarious actually?” So yeah I’m so glad you like it! :D I always love seeing your headcanons, they always fill me with so much joy <3

T&I being the home of Konoha’s rumour mill, and specifically Aoba and Anko being PROLIFIC gossipers (Ibiki pretends to hate it but he doesn’t stop them)

Not from a fic but @oh-no-its-bird turned me on to the concept of Sakumo Hatake being a sex symbol back in the day and it haunting Kakashi. It has not left my head since.

Alright that’s it, if I can think of more I might do this series semi-periodically but we’ll see 🤷‍♀️

Gai’s “Power of Youth” ocean at a sunset rainbows and sparkles visuals just being a genjutsu he does

And then we’ve got the in-universe lore specific cursing

If I had more foresight I’d tag fics that include these but uhhhh forgor…

An Unlikely Meeting in the Rain

Cyborg!Anko for my Bulletproof Hearts AU!! There’s a lot of context needed to make this make sense (and I’ll get into it once I’m done *at least* Genma and Kakashi’s character sheets as well) but uhhh the AU is mainly based on the MCR Killjoys universe, but I take inspiration from Cyberpunk, Fallout, Mad Max, Trigun… so think retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic Japanese -American fusion :) The tokujo squad run a gas station out in the middle of the wastes which they also use as Anko’s mechanic shop, Genma’s radio station, and the base of operations for the rebellion against the fascist government of Neo-Konoha! So if that sounds interesting stay tuned because I’ve got lots where that’s coming from!!!

I’m currently in the process of making the next instalment of my “things I’ve seen in naruto fics that make me giggle” and y’all I need more ideas. Every time I try to remember shit I’ve read I come up blank. I feel like I’ve been microwaved.
