baseball as a sport rlly edges you into the szn and i respect that:

first is caribbean league where you’ve maybe heard of 10% of the players and there are minimal stats and the camera quality is crunchy. but it’s live baseball!!

then spring training which is a whole arc of its own. you start and you’ve barely heard of any of the players. you get towards the end and the team is finally assembling but through it all there’s no strike zone and there aren’t many stats. but they’re your guys!!!

finally FINALLY the season starts and it’s so fantastic but the stats are either stationary stats from last season or those early season stat lines of like .500 avg over 6 pa. BUT ITS REAL BASEBALL YIPPEE!!!!

and to top it off there’s a chance your team is Bad™️ and then you’ve waited forever for a supremely disappointing season to be sad about. sometimes it’s awesome though!!
