As much as I would love to see Charlie return next season I have to wonder if Joshua Jackson would want to.

He made it pretty clear he was done with Disney when he made such a jump to playing Pacey on Dawson's Creek right away.

For those who haven't watched it, Pacey is pretty messed up bad boy who gets himself in trouble allot and even goes as far as having a affair with his teacher in the first season alone.

His adult career springboarded after Dawson's and his newest work is in Dr. Death as a sociopath doctor killing his patients, a far cry from a Disney+ show for sure.

So honestly I would be surprised for him to return.

Granted it's one thing to train and prepare for a massive disaster, its a whole nother thing to be a the ground zero of one. Not surprising that some people aren't able to handle such a situation, especially if they were a smaller hero pulled into the larger mission. Someone from a smaller agency who may handle smaller situations probably isn't ready for massive multi city wide disasters

Honestly, this is my favorite panel of this whole chapter, but people aren’t showing the context of it or what Uraraka is looking at.

I know some people don’t like Endeavor but I’m slowly but surely warming up to him bruh. The redemption arc made me see him in another light because you can see his growth as a hero and as a father too.😔 he better clap that doctor cheeks because it’s well deserved 

I thought all might didn't know of the vestiges. When Gran Torino mentions them he seems suprised. He probably could guess at the ghosts deku saw, but he probably didn't see them or use the other quirks. If all might was that severely injured he probably didn't train the quirk (and he grasped it almost instantly) which is why he has trouble helping deku as a teacher in some cases. It might be less he's a bad teacher and more dekus in uncharted territory

Well, I read the chapter 213 and... Pray. Let's pray that Toshinori and the other generations of OfA didn't know THAT. Because if Toshinori reveals that knew all this time THAT LITTLE DETAIL... There isn't a enough big punch on the world that he could deserve. Because if he knew all the time about THAT, he left that Midoriya broke legs, arms, fingers... When Midoriya could have an alternative. But, I can be good. Maybe Toshi and the other generations just ignored that DETAIL... I pray for it.

If you remember during the Sports festival, he and Recovery girl spoke like they at least had an idea of it. Which is…. Just…. Concerning. 

He does seem to not entirely know that they can be interacted with, but I’m honestly starting to lose faith with All Might’s narrative. He’s hidden things from Izuku constantly before in the name of “Protecting him until he’s ready” or something along those lines. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was another one.

There’s only so far I’m willing to go along with the “Lol isn’t All Might such a bad teacher” Joke. In universe, this could get someone killed. (And knowing my luck it’ll end up being Mina) Someone needs to call him out on this, before something bad happens.

See, the issue I have isn’t so much that Izuku now has seven freakin Quirks to work with. Well, it is annoying, but I can live with it - It’s that it’s been sold in such a Deus-Ex-Machina like way (Like being the operative word - Had someone mistake me for calling it an actual Deus-Ex-Machina on Discord earlier)  with absolutely no hinting of it in any way that’s getting me. This could have been done masterfully. Instead it’s just a jarring development that feels cheap.

It feels like Horikoshi has no idea how to develop OFA anymore, and this is his way of trying to put the genie back in the bottle. 

If All Might had said from the start “Oh yeah, this thing will let you access multiple Quirks” when he gave Izuku OFA, I wouldn’t mind. The last couple of chapters could have been Izuku realizing that this was happening at a seriously inopportune time. 

Another route would have been to just have the previous vestiges be kind of like mentors, teaching Izuku their various styles with OFA, and letting Izuku develop from each of them

Really, anything would have been better than this. It makes me… .Seriously worried for MHA’s future. I’ve seen some people yelling “Have faith in Horikoshi!” 

But i just…. Don’t, anymore. And this isn’t helping. 

I swear Reiner and Eren are competing to see who can be the most dead on the inside and hate their lives more. Interesting turn

I don’t know why people say that Eren not even blinking when Armin punches him is ‘badass’ or ‘savage’. The guy is more dead inside than Reiner ‘All My Friends Are Dead Or Want To Kill Me’ Braun. It’s not badass, it’s tragic.

A month ago I thought Levi was going to die, with the winning streak the Jeagerist have so far and now this… Outside my reservations about Levi being overpowered, thank you Isayama for every panel of Zeke getting destroyed was a gift, I don’t think of any another character who deserves this more than Zeke.  I hope Floch and Yelena are next.

Okay the fight isn’t as bad as I thought. Levi does use a strategy but like when the fuck did he even equip all those thunderspears? And Zeke was clearly caught off guard and panicked, which is the number one way of losing a fight.

He went AWOL, committed insubordination, and basically started a war. No shit he was locked up, as a soldier, those are serious offenses and as such he is in prison because of his actions.

I remember how he used scream and laugh like everything was fine. I know he had the development that we all waited for…but this? Eren is not alive. This is some kind of a robot. His eyes are dead. He’s with the worst type of people because, im sorry, they were the only people who actually stoped to listen his screams - but we know its only for interest. I remember saying that sc was willing to listen to zeke but not eren and look where they are now. They had someone who is clearly not right in his mind but their priority went to some other dude. So she uses that to turn her clothes invisible, or she just reflects the light away from her clothes and just leaves the gloves and boots visible to avoid friendly fire and so her allies know where she is.

Connie wants to, but it's also showing that he's not in the best mind right now (he's in the anger part of his grief) Armin is trying to prevent any violence by talking it out (doubt even someone as brash as Eren would out and say something like I'm a traitor even if he wasn't on their side) he adds the kill Eren part to broker peace, it won't come to that, but to Connie hearing that allows him to trust armin

I don't even think it's a lazy way of writing. Reiner is still alive because of the kids, he's shown that as much as he hates his life and living it, he will push on for nothing else but their sakes. Him jumping to return cements it. Reiner knows the dangers, and he's the only one that can pull of an operation on that island out of the current warriors (commanding wise) so he knows that he has to face his demons. But for the kids sakes he will without a pause. Also something tells me he feels that he won't come back from this operation

is isayama getting lazy with writing reiner or what? few chapters ago he was depressed and suicidal and now he seems good enough to be in the mood to shave and is suddenly motivated? because the kids were taken away? the kids’ lives were threatened before and during the battle but that still didn’t motivate him enough to stand up and fight.. i also find it ridiculous that we get to see fucking connie being pissed and emo about sasha but not reiner’s reaction to neither bert nor zofia and udo

Hi anon, I see you’re upset about some of the stuff going on in the manga. I’ll do my best to answer what I can - please bear in mind these are my opinions.

I’m not surprised at all about Reiner finding his resolve to go to Paradis and rescue Gabi and Falco. Reiner has always protected and fought for those he cared about: Protecting Connie during Utgard, Bert during the clash of the titans, fighting Zeke to try and get back Annie after everything. In the basement, his only thought when Eren began to transform was protecting Falco. Even in his regenerative state, he heard Falco’s words. And when they called for him, he still stood and fought back, regardless of how much he wanted to sleep and never wake up.

10 chapters ago the thought of returning to Paradis was enough to drive him to suicide, but in that same chapter he realized that he’d live for Falco and the other kids. At this point, Gabi and Falco are the two living people he cares about most - and knowing that they’re captured and behind enemy lines (and likely alive) he’ll do anything in his power to save them. 

As for the 2nd part of your ask, I am a little bummed about not seeing Reiner’s reaction to Udo and Zofia considering they were also important to him, but I also feel that it’s not 100% necessary to show it for the plot to continue. For Bert, I may disagree a bit - I still attribute a lot of Reiner’s current state of mind and depression to losing Bertolt in Shiganshina, regardless if it’s explicitly stated or not. This may be headcanon territory, but to me it’s undeniable that his outlook would be completely different had Bert survived.

Finally, while Connie and Sasha may not be the most important characters to the plot (nor my favorites), they’re an emotional barometer for the 104th as well as seeming more like… normal teenagers. Seeing Connie’s change of heart, how he’s hardened now after Sasha’s death and even willing to talk about eliminating Eren, reveals just how much Eren’s actions have caused a rift between them all.

LOOK AT THIS BABY I have to say, I’m pretty confused about this whole “Endeavor should not be forgiven” thing. I mean, the Todoroki’s story is probably the most complex out of all the stories BNHA is telling, and definitely the most relatable one since domestic and child abuse is (unfortunately) a real thing we know and experience in the real world. How was Shouto supposed to react to this? His father was close to getting killed on television for the world to see, and he was watching too. Do you honestly believe that having him hoping to see his father die would have been good storytelling? Stories speak to people, so what kind of message would that send to readers? Remember that this is a shonen manga, meaning that its main target is young kids from 15 to 18/20 years old. Shouto’s reaction doesn’t mean that he has forgiven him yet or that he loves him, it just means that he is relieved that he hasn’t died. He might still despise him, but that doesn’t mean he wants him dead. What if he wants him alive so he can prove his will to change? What if Shouto wants peace for his mom and family and for that Endeavor needs to live to redeem himself? A story about grudge and hatred would never suit one of the main good characters of a manga about heroes, so yes, it’s good that Shouto wants his father alive! I don’t think Horikoshi is justifying abuse or in any way minimizing it. I think the story he wants to tell us is that of learning our own mistakes, of finding peace, of redeeming ouselves to the ones we did wrong to, of a broken family trying to get together again. That imho is a story that teaches something and that is worth reading. yeah english is not my first language so forgive me for my mistakes

About the giant forest

In the recent chapter, we saw Zeke in awe at the giant forest. I think we concluded that the 80m trees weren’t discovered anywhere else in the world

Guess what is also said to only exist in Paradis island? Yes, iceburst stone mentioned in the chapter

“unknown underground resource that is only exclusive to Paradis island”. So here’s this: what if the reason for the existance of the gigantic trees(that we assume do not exist anywhere else) is due to the precious stone/mineral deposits being absorbed by the trees? I think Levi is leading Zeke into the forest to show him the reserves as a part of their agreement.

Finally, what could be the reason for the first king to put the stones in a reserve on Paradis island, where he wanted to quarantine the Eldians? Could it be that the stone might have something to do with the “source of all living matter” that Ymir Fritz came into contact with and gained the titan powers?

Because he's royally pissed and struggling not to transform into a Titan, or because he's been a Titan for a long time and it's a curse of Ymir side effect. Those are my guesses
