“Le, did you get the extra cables for tonight?”
“Yup,” Leo said to Cassie, typing quickly on his computer. His political philosophy paper wasn’t going to write itself. “In my backpack.”
“Cool, great. And the extra amp, how are we getting that there?”
“Amanda’s girlfriend is bringing it in her car.”
“‘Kay, cool. Cool, cool, cool.”
Leo grinned, swiveling in his chair and looking at Cassie with raised eyebrows. “You’re stressed.”
“Well, obviously,” she hissed. “This is our biggest gig yet.”
“And you’re sure it has nothing to do with a certain person being there?”
She rolled her eyes, but was blushing. “Percy Marshall has free will. He can come if he wants. I didn’t even invite him, Finn did.”
Leo winced. “Yeah, sorry. He likes to meddle.”
“Yes, he does.” She tapped her pen against her notebook repeatedly. “Also, it doesn’t matter if Percy is there or not. I sing because I like it. And I’m good.”
“So good.”
“Right?”
“Are you asking me, or telling me?”
Cassie groaned, thumping her head on the table. Her blonde waves fell in a curtain around her head. “I don’t know.”
“Well, figure it out. And study for your Calc exam, you don’t want to have to take it again next year.”
“Why the hell does a journalism major have to take math anyways?!”
“Your voice is going high,” Leo pointed out, turning back to his essay.
She narrowed her eyes at him. “I’m stressed.”
“Still, I’d prefer not to lose my hearing at twenty-one. Go, do math, please.”
Cassie kicked his foot gently under the table, but she was smiling.

“How we feeling?”
Leo and Amanda looked up from where they were tuning their guitars to find Layla’s smiling face. She was fiddling with her drumsticks.
“Good,” Leo said. “Almost done. Has Cole tuned his bass yet?”
She rolled her eyes. “No. He’s still drinking his pre-gig tea. And Thomas came backstage to talk, so they’re distracting each other.”
Amanda snorted. “Well, then we might be down a bassist tonight.”
“I’ll go find him,” Layla laughed, then she was walking away, her long twists swishing behind her.
Leo plucked his final string, watching the light on his electric tuner turn green. “‘Kay,” he said. “I’m all set.”
“Me, too.” Amanda unclipped her strap and set her guitar in its stand. “I’m gonna go say goodbye to Aadhya, I’ll be right back!”
Leo made kissing sounds as she jogged to the little back room where their stuff was, laughing when she flipped him off. He hummed to himself as he plucked out a few chords. Even after performing with the band for almost two years, he still got nervous he would forget something on stage. A quick review was necessary. He was just running through their opening number when his eyes were covered by two hands.
“Guess who?”
Leo smiled. “Hi, sweetheart.”
“Hi,” Finn said happily, uncovering his hands and bouncing in front of Leo, Logan following. “How are you?”
“Good,” Leo said, slipping his guitar strap over his head and setting the instrument in its stand.
Logan reached out and thumbed the bottom of Leo’s tank top. “Feel ready?”
Leo smiled. “Yeah. Little nervous.”
“You’ll be so good,” Finn said. He draped his arms loosely around Leo’s shoulders. “There are so many people out there waiting to see you.”
Logan laughed. “Rouge, I don’t think that’s helping.”
“But they’re his fans!” Finn scratched absentmindedly at the back of Leo’s scalp. “We’re your biggest fans, though.”
“I don’t know,” Leo teased with a smile. “My mama might have you beat on that one.”
“I’ll fight her for the honor.”
Leo rolled his eyes playfully. “No you will not,” he chastised gently. “But you will give me a good luck kiss.”
He didn’t even have time before Finn’s smile was kissing his own in happy bursts. “I love you, I love you, good luck, peanut butter sunshine baby.”
Logan was there, too, pressed against their sides. He cupped Leo’s waist with his hand gently and tilted his head up for a kiss of his own. “You’ll be amazing, soleil.” He ran his hand appreciatively up Leo’s arm. “You look very sexy.”
“Yes, very,” Finn agreed. “We’re lucky boys, that’s for sure.”
“Okay,” Leo laughed. “We go on soon, so I need to go.” He kissed them each quickly and squeezed their hands. “I love you.”
“Je t’aime.”
“Love you!”
Leo blew them a kiss as he walked into the backstage room. Thomas was on his way out and held his fist out for Leo to bump. “Kick ass, man.”
Leo slapped his back. “Thanks, Talky.” He closed the door behind Thomas and smiled at his bandmates. “Feeling good?”
Cole nodded. “Feeling good.”
“Good.” Leo went over and sat by Cassie on the couch, throwing an arm over her shoulders. “How are you?”
She sighed, resting her head on Leo’s shoulder. “I’m okay. All warmed up.”
“You’ll be amazing.”
“Mm.” She shifted closer, then looked up at him. “Would your boyfriends be jealous if they saw us right now?”
Leo laughed. “Oh, definitely. Finn’s ears would be bright red, and Logan would be staring at you so hard.” He rested their temples together. “But I won’t tell them.”
“Thanks.” She looked around the room at everyone else watching her carefully. “I’ll be fine, guys, really.”
Layla nodded. “We know. You get on stage and you’re fine, just- I don’t know, I think we’re all a little nervous.”
“Right?” Amanda laughed nervously. “I mean, fuck, this place is huge!”
Cole was staring off into space with wide eyes. “I’m absolutely shitting myself.”
They all looked at each other for a moment, silent, then burst out into laughter. Cassie’s body shook against Leo’s shoulder, and Layla was doubled up over her knees across from him. Amanda and Cole were falling over each other on the other couch. Leo felt the anxiety of the moment slip away a little and he bit his lip around a smile.
“Oh, fuck me, we’re crazy,” Amanda laughed.
Leo felt a buzz in his back pocket, and unwound his arm from Cassie’s shoulders to take out his phone while the others continued laughing around him. His lock screen lit up with a notification. He took a minute to smile at the photo. It was of himself, Logan, and Finn around a campfire from the fall, bundled up in sweatshirts and sweatpants. Logan was sitting sideways on Leo’s lap in a camp chair and Finn had both his arms draped over Leo’s shoulders from behind, pressing their cheeks together and smiling. Leo ran his thumb over it fondly before unlocking his phone and opening up his texts.
Finn had sent him a photo of the stage, and then a photo of Logan flipping him off, a cup held to his mouth. Here’s where we are, sunshine, the text read. Love you x A GAZILLION ur so sexy and talented and hot and pretty and we love you mwah mwah MWAH <33333333333
Leo snorted out loud, shaking his head fondly. <3 you both, you can come backstage after.
Cassie not-so-subtley peeked over his shoulder. “Oo-oo, Leo’s got some admirers!”
He blushed and nudged her. “Shut up.”
“Seriously,” Cole said. “You three are always just like…” He widened his eyes and smiled goofily, fluttering his eyelashes.
“No we are not.”
“Yeah-huh,” Amanda said.
“Fine.” Leo sighed, dropping his head back. He feigned exasperation, but really his stomach was fluttering. “Yes, we’re sickeningly in love, all right?”
Layla snorted. “Yes, you are.” She clapped her hands. “And it’s five-to, so we gotta go.”
They all grabbed their water and walked back to get their instruments. Leo peeked around the wooden panels on the side of the stage that blocked them from the view of the audience as he adjusted his guitar strap.
“You find them?” asked Cole from behind him.
“I’m looking,” Leo said. His eyes scanned the crowd, looking for a shock of red hair or the slope of Logan’s broad back.
“There,” Cole said. “With our other friends.”
Leo followed Cole’s finger to where it was pointing and smiled. Sure enough, there were Finn and Logan, talking with Hannah, a friend of Finn’s from his freshman year, and Sirius, who had bonded with Logan the year before because they were both from Quebec. Finn had a drink in one hand and another secure around Logan’s waist, pulling him flush to his own body. Logan was quiet, as he usually was, and was listening to Finn so closely and intently his nose was almost brushing Finn’s cheek. Finn took notice and kissed him quickly before going back to whatever he had been talking about.
“You see ‘em?” Cole asked.
Leo nodded. “Yeah. I do.”
Cole snorted and slapped his back. “C’mon, lover boy, it’s show time.”
Leo grinned quietly to himself as the lights went up and they followed Cassie out onto the stage.
***
Leo strummed the last chord of their song, With You, letting his sound ring before silencing his guitar with his palm. There was a brief silence, then the crowd was applauding and cheering. Cassie, smiling broadly as always, thanked them with a nod and a laugh as she set her microphone in its stand.
“I’m glad you liked that one,” she said, fiddling with the mic chord. “We do, too.” She flipped her long blonde hair over her shoulder and turned to Leo. Good? she mouthed.
Leo nodded, running the cable connecting his guitar to the amp through his hands to stretch it out.
“Okay,” he heard Cassie say. “I’m going to take a step back for a minute. We’re gonna play a cover for you, one of our favorites, and Mr. Leo Knut here is gonna sing lead for us.” She scrunched her nose teasingly at him. “He’s very good.”
Leo rolled his eyes playfully as they switched spots, Amanda going to pick up her acoustic guitar. Cassie stopped him with a hand on his bicep. “Good?”
Leo nodded with a smile. “Yeah.”
She smiled. “You’ll be great.”
He smiled back, nudging their arms. “Thanks, Cass.” He stepped up to the mic, raising just a bit. “Hey, y’all, how ya doin’?” He winced inwardly- his accent always came out stronger when he was onstage, but people didn’t seem to mind. There was some applause and cheers, and a loud whoop! that Leo would bet all his money on came from Finn. He grinned, squinting against the lights shining on the stage. He fiddled with the neck of his guitar. “Good. Hey, look, we’re gonna do a little cover for you. This song is one of my favorites.”
He flashed his eyes around the crowd until they landed on his boyfriends, the both of them smiling up at him. Logan was slumped back against Finn’s chest, Finn’s arms tight around his waist. Finn winked at him and Leo felt this face warm.
Leo realized he had spaced out for a few seconds and cleared his throat. “Um, so,” he said, strumming once on his instrument. “Yeah, I like this one a lot. Reminds me of some people very dear to me.” He turned to look behind him. “Ready?”
His bandmates nodded, and then they were off.
Leo opened it with the guitar riff, now familiar under his fingers after so many run-throughs. He bobbed his head to the beat and took a deep breath just as Cole and Amanda joined him.
Could you whisper in my ear
The things you wanna feel?
I’d give you anything
To feel it comin’
Do you wake up on your own
And wonder where you are?
You live with all your faults
Leo smiled, eyes flashing to the neck of his guitar as he plucked out the shortened transition riff, feeling the sound of Cassie’s tambourine and Layla’s soft cymbal shake through his chest. He glanced out at the crowd and moved closer to the mic.
I wanna wake up where you are
I won’t say anything at all
So why don’t you slide?
Leo rocked his body faster, grinning at the rhythm of his and Amanda’s strumming.
Yeah, I’m gonna let it slide
The crowd was lively now. Lots of people were swaying and singing along, a few even dancing with their friends or partners. It energized Leo, touched something so deep in his bones he felt like his body was thrumming. He bounced a little as he strummed, closing his eyes as he started the next verse, Cassie’s harmonies mixing with his own voice.
Don’t you love the life you killed?
The priest is on the phone
Your father hit the wall
Your ma’ disowned you
Don’t supposed I’ll ever know
What it means to be a man
It’s something I can’t change
I’ll live around it
I wanna wake up where you are.
I won’t say anything at all.
So why don’t you slide?
Oo, slide
Leo loved this part of the song. The way the strumming picked up, the way it made him feel light and giddy as he sang it. He caught Cassie’s eye and smiled. She was slapping the tambourine on her hands and tapping her toe, her long, golden hair shaking with the movement of her body. Amanda and her were back to back now and laughing; on his other side, Leo could see Cole shaking his head and smiling goofily at Layla in the back.
And I’ll do anything you ever dreamed to be complete
Little pieces of the nothing that fall.
He turned towards the crowd again. He had to find them, quickly, had to catch their eye to sing the next bit, like he always did.
They were already looking back at him when he caught their gazes. Finn was swaying Logan gently and singing along to the lyrics. It reminded Leo of all the times he’d seen lovers at music festivals, hands on each other’s hips, casually touching in a way that said, I’m here. I’m here with you, and I love you.
Leo blushed and looked out at them through his lashes with a grin, holding their gaze as he continued.
Oh, May
Put your arms around me
What you feel is what you are
And what you are is beautiful
Oh, May
Do you wanna get married?
Or run away?
They broke off into a brief instrumental interlude, and Leo broke his gaze to look at his guitar neck, shifting his fingers accordingly. Sometimes, looking at them was too much. Sometimes, he didn’t know what to do when they smiled at him like they had just then, so full of adoration and joy.
The instrumental part was finishing up again and Leo was catching their eyes once more.
And I’ll do anything you ever dreamed to be complete
Little pieces of the nothing that fall
Oh, May
Put your arms around me
What you feel is what you are
And what you are is beautiful
Oh, May
Do you wanna get married?
Or run away?
Leo scrunched his nose at Logan and Finn in a smile, their expressions mimicking his.
I wanna wake up where you are
And I won’t say anything
There was the sound of Layla’s drum fill, and then they were all bouncing. Leo angled his head to Cassie and bopped along with her.
And I’ll do anything you ever dreamed to be complete
Little piece of the nothin’ that fall
And I’ll do anythin’ you ever dreamed to be complete
Little pieces of the nothing that fall
Leo felt his chest heaving as he looked at the other people around the room. They were looking at him, trying to catch his eye, and smiling. But he really didn’t care much about them at that moment, if he was being honest with himself. He moved closer to the mic as the instruments crescendoed and grinned, locking eyes with Finn and Logan’s happy faces one final time.
Yeah, slide between the sheets of all them beds you never knew
Why don’t you slide into my room?
Just slide into my room
Oh, we’ll run away, run away, run away
Leo tore his eyes away only to look at his guitar as he played the closing rift through, his fingers shaking slightly with the adrenaline. He took a deep breath as they all let their instruments ring out a bit. As always, there was silence, then applause. Cassie was beside him in a moment, grabbing his arm and shaking it excitedly.
“You kicked ass!”
Leo rolled his eyes playfully and bumped their foreheads together. “So did you. That one’s always fun.”
She flashed her eyes to the crowd, grin widening, then looked back at Leo. “Your lovers are staring.”
Leo blushed but turned to look. And sure enough, in the crowded room, dark and dusty and probably smelling of sweat and beer, two sets of twinkling eyes were looking at him, smiles so wide almost all their teeth were showing. Logan raised his fingers in a wave and Finn blew him a kiss. Love you.
Leo bit his lip around a smile and let out a quiet, giddy laugh. Love you.
Then he gave Cassie one more pat on the shoulder and went back to his place to finish the set.
***
Leo wiped the sweat off his face with the bottom of his tank top, bristling a bit as some of the saltiness got in his eyes. They all set their instruments in their stands backstage to be put away in a few minutes and hurried to the dressing room. There was a window that Cole immediately threw open, and then Layla was handing them all water bottles from a cooler.
“Drink up,” she said. “Before you go to the bar, please.”
“Thanks,” Leo panted. He cracked it open and downed half in one go, then fell against the couch and placed the cool plastic on his forehead. The condensation was a little uncomfortable, but he was too hot to care. The others were chatting around him, and there was the sound of the door opening and closing as people came and went, fussing with cables and amps. Aadhya slapped his leg in a job well done and he stuck his thumb up.
“Gimme a minute,” he said. “I’ll help.”
“Nope,” she said. “Percy, Thomas, and I have got it. You all just sit for a minute, okay? You’re dehydrated.”
Leo didn’t really have it in himself to protest. “‘Kay. Thanks.”
She nodded and went back to putting away Amanda’s guitars.
Leo closed his eyes once more and let out a deep breath through his mouth. Performing was a joy and an adrenaline boost, but the period after was stressful sometimes. Their bodies and brains were exhausted; a few moments of relaxation and quiet was necessary.
Suddenly, he felt two palms rub the outside of his thighs and a soft voice. “Soleil.”
Leo opened his eyes slowly to meet Logan’s loving green ones. He smiled up at him. “Salut.”
“Salut, chérie.” The French was warm and comforting, like Leo was being wrapped in a blanket. Logan bent to kiss his mouth softly. “You did so well.”
“Merci,” Leo said. He set the water bottle beside him then wrapped his hands around the backs of Logan’s thighs. “Hey, c’mere.” When Logan was seated on his lap, knees digging into the soft cushions around them, Leo leaned up to kiss him a little harder. “Thank you for coming.”
“Oui, of course we did. Finn’s helping put stuff away.” Logan picked up the water bottle and pressed it back to Leo’s forehead. “Es-tu chaud, mon coeur?”
Leo nodded. “Ouais, a little.” He winced as Logan kissed his temple. “Sorry, I’m all sweaty.”
Logan grinned and pressed another soft kiss to his mouth. “Non, I like you sweaty.”
Leo smiled against his mouth and stole another kiss. “I love you. I’m so happy you both are here.”
Logan set the water bottle aside and tenderly cupped Leo’s face in his hands. “We love you so much, peanut.”
They smiled at each other for a moment before a freckled face appeared above Logan’s shoulder. “‘Sup, lovers?” Finn asked, kissing Logan’s cheek then leaning down to peck Leo on the lips. “How are you, baby?”
“Tired,” Leo sighed. “Hot.”
“Yeah you are.” Finn put Leo's guitar case down, flopped beside him on the couch, and threw one arm around his shoulders, his other hand resting on Leo’s thigh. “Hey, I have an idea.”
Leo rested his head on Finn’s shoulder. “Hm?”
“How about we run away and get married?”
Leo tisked and raised his head. Finn’s grin was mischievous, and Leo just rolled his eyes fondly. “Shut up.”
“No, no, let’s go. Right now.” He bent to whisper in Leo’s ear. “And if you’re lucky, we’ll both slide into your room.”
“That’s it,” Leo said, sitting up and moving to stand. “I’m getting new boyfriends.”
“Non,” Logan demanded firmly. He let his weight go heavier on Leo’s lap and laced a hand through his hair possessively. “Non, you’re not.”
“Kidding.” Leo placated Logan with a kiss then fell back into the cushions, slumped down and leaning into Finn’s side. “But I don’t just sing those lyrics to you for no reason, you know.”
“We know, sunshine.” Finn nosed at Leo’s hair and kissed his temple.
“It’s because I love you very much.”
“And we love you, baby.” Finn reached out to play with Logan’s fingers. “But- we are getting married, right? Maybe not the ‘running away’ thing, because my parents and brother would kill me, but… marriage?”
Leo turned to brush their noses together and nodded. “If that’s what you want, then I want it. Lo?”
“Of course I do,” Logan answered. He brought their left hands to his mouth and kissed their ring fingers. He then peeked out through his lashes and winked. “And I’d also like to slide into your bed.”
“Oh my God, this isn’t funny anymore!” Leo exclaimed, bouncing his legs up and down to jostle Logan. He laughed and looked up at him. “I am trying to be romantic, stop being weird about it.”
Logan pressed their smiles together in a slow kiss. “It’s very romantic, mon soleil,” he whispered. “We love it.”
“Yeah, we do, baby. You’re so sweet.” Finn kissed his cheek and bit his jaw. “Sweet enough to eat.”
“Oh-kay, lovebirds!” Cassie sing-songed. Leo looked around Logan’s body to find her standing across the room with Layla, the both of them waggling their eyebrows exaggeratedly. Percy was behind her with her purse, his face flushed nervously. Cassie jerked her head. “C’mon, time to celebrate. We can leave our stuff here.”
“Damn right,” Leo said. “I need a fuckin’ drink.”
“Mm, your accent always sounds stronger when you’re tired,” Finn murmured with a last kiss to his and Logan’s cheeks. He stood and held out his hands. “Let’s go, I’m buying.”
Logan and Leo took his hands and followed him out the door, the rest of Leo’s bandmates and a few of their friends behind them. Finn refused to stop holding their hands, even when passing through the narrow hallway, which made Cole let out a frustrated groan behind them. “Let’s move it! I would like a fruity drink!”
Layla rolled her eyes fondly. “You and your cocktails.”
“Hey, don’t mock me, babe, you always steal them anyways.”
Leo smiled and held Finn’s hand tightly until they got to the bar. Finn rapped his knuckles and put on his most charming smile. “A rum and coke, a dark n’ stormy, and a Jameson neat, please.”
A bartender with a thick braid running down her back smiled at Leo. “You guys were good.”
“Thanks,” he said sheepishly.
“Aw, don’t get so shy, butter baby,” Finn teased. He pinched Leo’s cheeks. “You deserve all the praise.”
Leo looked between him and Logan and leaned in. “Maybe you can slide in my bed and give me some tonight.”
Finn’s eyes darkened. Logan just looked a little dazed. “Promise?”
“Promise.” He kissed each of their stunned mouths quickly and grabbed his drink, smiling. “Now, c’mon, let’s go find a dark corner and make out.”
And with their laughter following him, Leo turned towards the crowd and let himself internalize the moment. The hands on his hips were warm and gentle and he smiled at the stage where he had just been. Maybe, he thought, it wouldn’t be so bad running away and getting married.
Not until he graduated though.
“Love you,” Finn whispered, resting his temple on the back of Leo’s neck.
Leo turned to kiss him, then drew Logan to his chest to kiss him, too. “I love you,” he whispered back. “I love you, I love you, I love you.”
Hii!! If you'd wanna write something about Leo being a bit younger than Finn and Logan that would be lovely! Maybe him being slightly insecure about it and FinnLo reassuring him, or maybe he misses his mama and needs some extra hugs, or perhaps Finn and Logan have to teach him something about adulthood, like paying bills or smth. Whatever you feel like really! No pressure though 🥰
Have a lovely day!!
Personally, I feel like Leo was pretty ready for a lot of adult stuff, like paying rent and cooking for himself and taxes. I headcanon Wyatt as working as an accountant or in finance and actually LOVING IT, he's a total math and numbers nerd (if you were wondering, Eloise works at a nonprofit and volunteers at a women's shelter and you can fight me on that). So I feel like Mama and Papa Knut prepared Leo really well for the real world. HOWEVER, it's hard on ANYONE to move away from home, especially if you're lucky enough to come from a loving one or are from a place you love to go back to, like Leo.
Hence, have some sweet little nutter butter needing a pick-me-up from his boyfs who couldn't even chop a carrot properly before they met him (it's okay, they've learned, and they help Leo prep and can make a few good recipes)!

P.S. I just got back from a LONG hike, so I am going to curl up with a blanket and bang out some of these prompts staring at me in my inbox. Thank you for being so patient, and please keep sending me your ideas! XOXO
Leo liked hanging out with Regulus’ college friends. They were funny and charming, and didn't seem to have any idea about anything related to hockey, which suited him just fine. They were a bit artsy, kind of like the friends he wished he'd had when he was in high school.
It was another end of year party, after Regulus’ sophomore year, and Leo was talking to Amanda about her French essay.
“It was kind of cool,” she was saying. “Looking at the demographics of different dialects and where they came from. But there's almost nothing out there on Cajun French, at least not that I could find.”
Leo laughed. “I could've been your textbook.”
She smiled. “Should've thought of that.” She shrugged. “But I found enough sources to justify the length of my section on that dialect, so it's all right, I guess.”
He nodded, trying to still listen, but he caught sight of Finn and Logan across the way. Finn had a hand low on Logan's back as he mixed them both drinks, and Logan had turned to talk to him, smiling with his lips against Finn's jaw. Logan had grown his hair out again, the curls less frizzy now that he actually took care of it. Finn was running his long, nimble fingers through the dark locks, and Leo could just imagine the feeling.
“I've never asked,” Amanda said. “You didn't go to college, did you? Not even for a little bit?”
Leo turned to her, brow furrowed. “No, why?”
She nodded her head from side to side. “Just trying to put the pieces together.” She considered her next words. “They were already in the NHL when you met, right?”
“Yeah,” Leo said. “They met at Harvard, then Finn got drafted to the Lions, then Logan, then about- three? No, a two years later, I came along, right out of high school.”
Her eyebrows shot up. “How old were you when you got together?”
Leo suddenly straightened. “Uh, nineteen.” He looked at her shocked face. “What?”
Amanda shook her head rapidly. “Nothing, nothing. It's just- does it bother you?”
Leo was confused. “That they knew each other beforehand? No, I actually like learn-”
“No,” Amanda laughed, then sobered. “No, the fact that they're a bit older than you.”
Leo just looked at her. “Uh, no? I don't think I've ever thought of it as a bad thing.”
“But they were, like, out of college for a few years when you met. You would've just been starting.” She looked at him apprehensively. “And that doesn't- I don't know, it doesn't make you think?”
“About what?”
Amanda seemed a bit lost for words. “About- about whether they're… you know, it.”
Leo was taken aback. “It? Of course they are, I love them.”
She sighed. “I'm not trying to, like, make you insecure or criticize.” She shrugged. “I was in a relationship when I was in middle school, all the way up until halfway through this year. I thought he was ‘it’, too. I guess I'm…”
“You're what?”
She looked him right in the eye. “I'm curious.”
“Curious?”
“About what it's like to know- like, really know- that you've found the loves of your life when you're so young.”
Leo looked at her carefully. “I think- I think for us it works. And for some people it doesn't.” He bit his lip. “It's also different for us. Logan and Finn were always destined for each other, even if they were a disaster at Harvard. But if I wasn't really it, if they didn't love me completely and wholly, they wouldn't have been with anyone else but each other.”
“And that doesn't bother you?”
To Amanda’s obvious surprise, Leo smiled. “No. No, I think it's romantic.”
“Oh.” She looked down. “I'm sorry.”
Leo patted her arm. “Don't be. It- it's okay to have questions.”
He looked up to where Finn and Logan were talking with Regulus, who got approached by someone else. He excused himself, leaving the other two by themselves.
Leo turned back to Amanda, gesturing with his thumb. “I think I'm- I'm gonna just…”
“Yeah,” she said with a small smile.
“I hope you did well on your French essay.”
Her cheeks flushed, pleased. “Thanks, Leo. I'll see you later.”
“See you.”
Leo wandered over to where his boyfriends were, seemingly bickering quietly underneath a string of lights. He came up behind them and rested his hands on Logan's hips. Logan turned up to him with a smile. “Soleil,” he said happily. He turned into Leo's arms and leaned up for a kiss. “Ça va?”
Leo nodded. “Ouais. What are we talking about?”
Finn snorted. “Which M&M flavor is best. I said pretzel.”
“Non, the caramel ones.”
“Those aren't even that good, they're just pure sugar.”
Logan huffed, then tugged Leo's forearm gently. “Allez, Le,” he said. “Which one's better?”
“Personally,” he said, bending his neck down to be closer to them. “I prefer the peanut ones.”
Their answering smiles warmed him from his head to his toes.
***
Later, when they were all cuddled up in bed, cooling down in a late-night afterglow, Amanda's words kept nagging slightly at Leo’s brain.
“Guys,” he said from his place on Logan’s chest. “I have a question.”
Finn, walking over from where he threw the cloths in the laundry hamper, came to flop on his stomach beside them, his chin resting on Leo’s hip bone. “What is it, my peanut M&M?”
Leo snuggled closer into Logan's warm skin. “Does it ever… I don't know, like, bother you that I'm younger?”
Finn looked taken aback. “What? No- I mean-” He suddenly looked defensive “Did someone say something?”
Leo pressed his nose into Logan's chest. “At the party today. Amanda asked if I was sure about you guys, because we met when I was so young.”
Logan shifted underneath him. “Quoi? Sure?”
Leo carded a hand through Finn's hair. “Like, if I was sure you guys are forever for me. If I am sure.”
“You are forever.”
Leo smiled at the grumpy, possessive tone that Logan sometimes got. “That's what I told her. I told her that, if I wasn't, then you two wouldn't have wanted anyone else but each other.”
Finn kissed his palm. “But we do want you.”
“You've made that very clear,” Leo laughed. “And I know that the two of you, or me with just one of you, would never compare to the three of us.” He brought his foot to rest on Finn's lower back. “But I do think about it. The fact that I'm a little younger.”
“Quoi?” Logan asked. “You're more of an adult than we are.”
“Hey.” Finn flicked Logan's leg. “Speak for yourself.”
Logan wrapped Leo up tighter. “You were way more mature at nineteen than I was when I was nineteen.”
Finn nodded solemnly. “That's true. Nutty, you're way ahead of your years.”
“Thanks, I think?” Leo smiled. “But sometimes- I don't know, sometimes I don't feel like that.”
“What do you mean, mon coeur?”
Leo shrugged. “I feel like- I don't know, sometimes I really miss home. New Orleans. Like, it's still home to me, but Gryff is home to me, and you're home to me, so I feel home in all these places. I just can't let go of New Orleans yet, and sometimes…” He pressed into their hands. “I really, really love you, but sometimes I feel like I need a hug from my mama.”
Finn smiled at him, carding a hand through his hair. “That's not because you're younger. That's just because you're so sweet.”
Leo felt sheepish, turning his smile into Logan's chest.
Finn cooed. “Aw, our little sunshine's embarrassed.”
Logan laughed, leaning his head down over Leo to press wet kisses to his forehead and cheeks. “Ouais, mon soleil, you're just the sweetest.”
“Guys,” Leo said, but he felt warm. “Stop that.”
“Non, non, never.” Logan settled further against the pillows, bringing Leo with him and cradling his head with his hand. “Toujours, soleil.”
Finn shifted further up the bed, laying down beside them with a leg thrown over their bodies. “Do you ever feel insecure about it, baby?”
Leo considered this for a second. “I guess… sometimes I wonder what people think. Because you were in your mid-twenties when I was nineteen and we got together.”
Logan groaned. “No we were not.”
“Way to call us old, peanut.”
Leo kissed Logan's chest. “I'm just sayin’- a lot of people would think that's weird. But as we've gotten older, it seems less weird.”
Finn smacked his hip lightly. “Will you quit it with the age thing?”
“I'm sorry, honey. C'mere.” He pulled Finn in for a kiss. “Better?”
Finn nodded satisfactorily. “Very much, yes.”
“Allez, where's mine?”
Logan was looking at them both expectantly. Leo rolled over a bit to hover over him, leaning down to brush their lips together. When they pulled apart, Logan didn't even open his eyes, just turned his face toward Finn, jutting his chin out.
“You needy thing,” Finn said, but complied. Their lips made a soft breaking sound as they pulled apart. “Needy baby boy.”
“Mm, ici.” Logan pulled Leo down to rest on him again and tangled his ankles with Finn's. “Ouais. We sleep like this.”
Finn brushed his hair back from his face. “Needy thing.” He looked to Leo. “Sweet thing.”
Leo snorted. “I thought that was Logan.”
Finn shook his head. “It's both of you. I'm a lucky guy.”
Leo nudged their noses together. “That you are.” He breathed deeply and settled once again on Logan’s chest. The skin was warm, like a heater, lulling his eyes into closing. “I love you.”
“I love you so much.”
“Love you,” Finn sighed. “My sweetest things.” He stroked a hand up and down Leo's ribs. “Your age doesn't matter, baby. You could be two years younger, or two years older, or ten years older, and we'd still love you.”
Leo scrunched his nose. “Ten years older?”
“Mm,” Finn said, biting Leo's jaw. “Sexy silver fox.”
Leo pushed his face away with a laugh. “Ew, no, that's so gross.” When Finn leaned in to suck at his jaw again, licking at the skin, Leo made a protesting noise. “Finn.”
Logan patted Leo's butt. “I love how you are in this life, peanut. Exactly like this.”
That made Finn perk up. “Do you think we're together in every life?”
“Yes,” Leo answered immediately. He tilted his chin up to look between the two of them. “I don't want to love anyone else but the two of you.”
“Non, me neither,” Logan grunted. He wiggled a bit, wrapping his legs around Leo's calves. “Don't like that thought.”
Finn snorted. “You're a grumpy and possessive baby now.” He tucked his face into Logan's neck. “But you're both mine in every lifetime. No take-backs.”
“No,” Leo smiled. He could feel Logan's breathing evening out below his cheek. “No take-backs. Good night, sweethearts.”
“Good night, nutter butter.”
Logan just made a soft sighing noise, but he pulled Leo closer. Leo smiled, taking one last chance to look at how their skin shone in the moonlight, how their lips parted around their breathing, before closing his own eyes. He could get used to this in every lifetime.

“Sharmall!”
“A’Horo!”
Logan and Will Morgan shared a look as Finn and Percy did their usual crazy greeting, grabbing each other by the face and chattering nonsense. It didn’t matter that they were in a private room in a fancy restaurant in Boston- they would greet each other like that anywhere.
“How are you, Tremz?” Will greeted, drawing Logan in for a hug. “Summer treating you well?”
“Ouais, all good,” he replied.
Will’s eyes darted around the room. “Where’s your other half? Or, third I guess.”
Logan grinned and pulled out his phone. “Back in New Orleans visiting his mom and dad. Look, sent us a photo of the cove he likes when he was out on his boat.”
Will peered over Logan’s shoulder and let out a breath. “Damn. Damn, that’s gorgeous. You guys heading down?”
Logan nodded, a dreamy sort of smile on his face. “Oui, tomorrow. We fly out in the morning.”
“I know that face,” Percy interrupted. He took Logan by the shoulders. “That’s your ‘loverboy’ face. Were you talking about Finn?”
“Non, Leo. Was showing Will a picture of his cove down in Louisiana.”
Percy rolled his eyes good-naturedly. “Finn just showed me the same one. Saps, the both of you.”
Finn stuck out his tongue at Percy and wrapped an arm around Logan’s waist. “You’re just jealous.”
“Nuh-uh,” Percy whined. A love-sick smile broke out over his face. “I got a Cassie Baker.”
Will snorted. “No he does not.”
“Not yet. You just wait, William, you’ll see.”
Will whispered conspiratorially. “She still hasn’t agreed to go on a date yet.”
Percy narrowed his eyes. “We are going out as friends. I told you, just you wait, I’ll woo her.” He closed his eyes and smiled. “I’ll woo her, I promise.”
“Mon Dieu,” Logan said. “You’re so bad.”
“It’s Cassie Baker, Logan.”
“I know, Perce.”
“You’ve got a Finn and a Leo now!” Percy exclaimed. “You’re all set- it’s my turn to have a Cassie. Or for her to have me, I’m not picky.”
Finn laughed. “I think it’s a mutual thing.” He jerked his head to the bar. “Let’s go get a drink, ten. We’ll make the rounds.”
Logan was glad to have Finn by his side at events like this. Even more so now that they were together. Before, he and Finn had to do almost an equal amount of sharing about their lives, even if Finn was the one to break the ice with others. Now, their life was so intertwined that Logan didn’t need to say anything if he didn’t want to. He contributed the odd comment, but mostly let Finn take the lead with an arm wrapped around his waist. Finn didn’t let go of him at all, always a hand on him, as he caught up with their old teammates and shared bits of their adult lives.
Best of all, Logan thought, they now got to talk about Leo.
“Yeah, I don’t know either, Max,” Finn laughed. He was talking with Max and Nathaniel, two of their former teammates that had graduated the year before Finn. They were still roomates in a town in Massachussetts, working as teachers and high school coaches. “I asked his dad once, and he just said that they got lucky he had so many good players in the program at the time. Not much hockey in Louisiana.” Finn drew Logan in closer with a hand around his hip. “We’re pretty grateful, though.”
“I bet you are,” Max smiled. He had always had such a genuine smile, his eyes crinkling up at the corners. “You guys got any plans for the summer?”
“Well, we’re off to New Orleans tomorrow. Going to train there for a couple weeks, soak up the sun. Hot as hell, though, my God. You’d probably like it, actually.”
Nathaniel laughed. “He would. He still complains about the cold all winter, you wouldn’t believe.”
“Hey, I was raised in North Carolina. I was not prepared for the cold.”
Finn nodded eagerly and laughed. “Neither was Le. We brought him snowshoeing this past winter and he was not a fan.”
“I can imagine,” Max said.
They made their rounds in a similar fashion, discussing summer plans, sharing photos of their lives post-college. Some of their teammates were married, others had dogs, some were in grad school. It made Logan feel a little less out of place- hockey was love, and hockey was wonderful, but his life was so much more than that now. It felt good to tell people.
“And this was when we went to France last summer.” Finn was now talking with Will’s wife, Ray, about some of the food they had tried in their travels. She was a chef by trade, and was always curious. “Leo makes ratatouille all the time now, and the tuna there was to die for.”
Ray laughed. “You know, I don’t think I’ve heard how you two have been doing at all.”
“Quoi?” Logan asked, confused. It was some of the first he’d contributed to the conversation. “What do you mean?”
She smiled. “First we talk about vacation plans, and all you can talk about is New Orleans. Then we talk about food plans during the season, so I can get some ideas to help Will, and all I hear about is how good of a cook your Leo is- who I would very much like to meet officially, by the way. And even now, when I ask about the traditional cuisine you guys tried- because I’m trying to improve my French cooking repertoire for a client- all I hear about is how Leo recreated all the dishes at your house.”
Finn, for the first time all night, spluttered, blushing hard. “Well- we… sorry, sorry, we didn’t-”
Ray waved her hand. “It’s okay. He must be wonderful, if you talk about him like that.” She tilted her head. “Everyone deserves to have someone talk about them like that.” She laughed. “Or someones.”
“Well,” Logan said. “He’s- he is wonderful.” He shrugged. “C’est notre soleil.”
“What?” she asked.
“Sunshine,” Finn answered. He was still red, but smiling softly. “He’s our sunshine.”
“God,” Ray laughed. “You two are romantics. I wish Will talked about me like that.”
Logan smiled at her. “He does. All the time, he talks about you and your little Noah.”
She brightened. “Really?” Her eyes strayed somewhere over his shoulder, and Logan looked back to find her gazing at Will, who was laughing with the bartender. “Well, like I said. Everyone deserves someone like that.” She rapped her knuckles on the table they were standing beside. “Excuse me, boys. It was lovely to catch up.”
“Yeah,” Finn said. “Hey, we’ll meet for dinner next time we’re in the city, okay?”
Ray winked. “Count on it. And bring your sunshine, please.” She ran a hand down Logan’s shoulder and walked over and into Will’s waiting arms.
Logan watched them for a second fondly, then jumped a little as his phone buzzed in his pocket. He took it out and smiled up at Finn. “Soleil.”
“Oo,” Finn said eagerly. He kissed Logan’s forehead. “What’d he send? A sexy photo?”
Logan opened up their groupchat to find a picture of Leo driving his family boat, looking back over his shoulder to smile at the camera. He was laughing, sunglasses pushed up into his blonde curls in the dying evening light, tall and tan and so gorgeous that Logan’s heart just melted.
Mama insisted I send this to you, his message said. Went for an evening boat ride with her and dad. I love you, sweethearts, I hope you’re having fun at your party! Call me when you get to the hotel room. <3
Logan watched Finn’s unabashed smile creep over his face, the same one that he was sure he currently wore. Finn pushed a hand under Logan’s shirt, untucking it from his pants slightly to get at his warm skin. “Shit, he’s so gorgeous. We’re so lucky.”
“Ouais, we are,” Logan sighed. He leaned his head against Finn’s shoulder and leaned up to kiss his jaw. “I’m very lucky.”
Finn turned just enough to smile and kiss him softly. “Well, then, me, too.” He nudged their noses together. “I got you. I got you and some sunshine.”
“All the sunshine.”
“Yeah, all of it.” Finn sighed and looked at the photo again. “All of the sunshine.”
Logan laced their fingers together. “Want to go back and call him?”
Finn looked around the room and nodded. “I think we’ve done our rounds.” He ducked closer to kiss Logan a bit more firmly. “Time to say goodbye and have you both all to myself.”
“Ouais,” Logan laughed. “Ouais, let’s say goodbye.”
They said their goodbyes quickly and walked the few blocks back to the hotel they were renting. Immediately upon closing their room door behind them, they were unbuttoning their shirts and Finn clicked on Leo’s contact on their iPad, setting it against the pillows. Leo’s face, when he answered, was sun-kissed and happy, his smile enough to warm Logan through.
“Hi sweethearts,” he said. “Good party?”
“Ouais,” Logan answered. He looked to Finn’s lovestruck expression and knew he was thinking exactly the same thing. He turned back to Leo and smiled. “Ouais, soleil. But we missed our sunshine.” He settled himself more on top of the covers to get a full view of Leo’s sparkling blue eyes and white smile. “Allez,” he sighed happily. He was so, so in love. “We love you. We miss you and we love you so much. Now, tell us about your day.”

“How’s my nutter-butter-peanut-lovernut-nutty-butty-sunshine-baby?”
Leo looked up from where he was stretching out on the mat, his mouth parted and his eyes wide. “Finn.”
“What?” Finn asked, confused. “What, did I say something?”
“I- you just- you can’t-”
“Hey Harz!” called James. “You got any more names to add to that list?”
“Yeah,” Thomas continued. “What about Reese’s peanut butter cup? Macadamia nut cookie? Planter’s peanuts?”
Finn rolled his eyes and turned to look at them. “Oh, ha-ha. You’re just jealous because Lily and Noelle aren’t allowed to practice with you.” He turned to gaze at Leo and bit his lip. “That is a right specifically reserved for me.”
“Fish,” Leo said. His face was bright red and his cheeks hot, but he was smiling. He looked so pretty like that, blonde hair splayed out on the floor beneath him and his arms stretched out over his head.
“Nuh-uh, you won’t get me to stop calling you that.” He knelt down beside Leo and squished his cheeks. “You’re my baby-baby-baby.” He kissed him soundly and whispered the phrase once more against his mouth. “My baby-baby-baby.”
When he pulled away, Leo was still blushing, but he didn’t look any less in love.
***
“Logan,” Leo gasped. “Logan, we’re in public-”
“Ouais, I don’t care,” Logan replied from his perch on Leo’s lap. He continued to suck at Leo’s neck and whispered in French against Leo’s ear. “I haven’t seen you in weeks; we should not be at a bar right now.”
“Je sais,” Leo said breathlessly. He ran his hands up and down Logan’s back to try and calm himself, although feeling his muscles underneath his shirt really did not help the situation. He looked around the dim bar at all the other people. “Je sais, but- but your teammates.”
“I don’t care what they think,” Logan said lowly. “They all know, so I don’t care.” He pulled back and his gaze was fiery. “I want you.”
Leo took a deep breath in and closed his eyes. “Lo, Lo we have to go.”
Logan grinned and leaned in to brush their noses. “Your face is so red, mon coeur.”
“Yeah, well, you keep talking like that.”
“I think you like it,” Logan replied. He kissed Leo’s cheek. “You look so gorgeous when you blush. You look so gorgeous all the time.”
That made Leo’s face even redder around his grin. “Stop that.”
“Non,” Logan said. “Non, never.” He tugged at Leo’s hair. “Let’s go find Fish, then we can-”
“Hello, lovers,” Finn’s voice sounded, as if on cue. He put a hand on Logan's back, tilting his head and smiled knowingly. “Lo, what did you say to him? Le, you’re all flushed.”
“I- he-”
“Take me home,” Logan interrupted. He settled himself further in Leo’s lap and pressed kisses all over his cheeks. “Now, right now, let’s go home, and I’ll make you blush even more.”
Finn let out a delighted laugh and cupped Leo’s cheek. “Oh, I can definitely get behind that.” He kissed Leo’s forehead. “Let’s go, gorgeous. Tomorrow I’ll take you both out to breakfast, show you the city.”
“Non,” Logan answered, grinning cheekily. “I’ll show you, the city. But first I want to show you my sheets.”
“Jesus,” Leo said. If possible, he was blushing even harder. “Oh God, let’s just get out of here. This is embarrassing, I’m so red.”
Logan laughed and kissed his rosy cheeks. “With pleasure, mon soleil.”
***
“Fucking- jeez, your forearms, Le.”
“Hm?” Leo looked up from where he was kneading pizza dough at the counter. “What?”
Finn didn’t looked away from his hands. “Just, your forearms. And your hands, ugh.” He put his hand on his forehead as if checking for a fever. “I’m just- you’re gonna kill me. Too sexy.” He spread his hands out as if reporting a news title. “Here lies Finn O’Hara- absolutely obliterated by his boyfriend’s hot bread-kneading forearm veins.”
Leo laughed and dusted some more flour on his hands. “You’re ridiculous.”
“No I’m not. Lo!”
“Quoi?”
“Get in here, on the double! I need your professional opinion on something.”
Logan came sliding in from their bedroom, finishing slipping his hands through Leo’s sweatshirt sleeves and pulling up the hood. His hair fluffed out from underneath. “Quoi? What’s happening?”
Finn turned towards him seriously. “I need you to watch.”
Logan furrowed his brow. “Huh? Watch what?”
Finn grasped onto his shoulders and turned him to look at Leo, who was shaking his head and blushing around a grin. “Just watch his hands. Watch them.”
“I told you, you’re ridiculous-”
“Just wait, nutter butter, you’ll see. Lo will agree with me.”
Logan dutifully watched for a few moments. His gazed was transfixed on Leo’s hands, stretching and pulling the dough, his forearms working it into the counter, his veins pulsing on every push-
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. He looked up to Leo, a light dusting of red dotting his cheeks. “Ouais, I see now.”
“Right?” Finn concurred, breathless. Leo wondered if he could tell how red his neck and ears were. “I mean- just, right?”
Leo bit his lip and looked at them through his lashes. “You like this?”
Logan nodded as if in a trance. “Ouais. Yes, yeah, I really like it.”
“Well,” Leo said. He wiped his hands on a towel and came around the counter. Both of his boys were flushed and watching him, eyes a little wide. He ducked down to kiss at Finn’s neck, then Logan’s lips when they came searching for him. He pulled away and dropped a devastating wink. “How about you make yourselves useful and chop the toppings for dinner?”
Finn spluttered. “Are you serious right now?”
“Yup,” Leo deadpanned. “Chop, chop, O’Hara. You’re on sausage and chicken duty. Tremblay, peppers and onions, please.” He looked up and smirked. “I, however, am going to finish up this pizza dough.”
His boys, their faces as red as the tomato sauce waiting to top their pizzas, just groaned and went to take out some knives.
Dreaming of snowy winters right now! Have some snuggly boys.

Hot chocolate had always reminded Logan of Christmases in Canada. They would go down to Sherbrooke to visit his father’s family for a few days and go snowboarding, sometimes skating on the nearby lakes and ponds if the ice was thick. There were copious amounts of chocolate shops in the towns there, serving the drink fresh-made. Logan always asked for a milk chocolate base, minimal milk, to reap as much sweet flavor as possible, and extra whipped cream. He and his sisters would usually go back for seconds, and maybe leave with a few truffles as well. His cousins never had quite the sweet tooth they did, but would entertain them nonetheless, waiting patiently for them all wrapped up in their winter gear. When he was younger, he would have considered it the best hot chocolate he’d ever had, a self-proclaimed connoisseur.
Leo’s recipe, though, took hot chocolate to a whole new level.
Finn closed his eyes as he took a sip out of his own mug, his glasses fogging up briefly. “Hot damn, Leonardo, this might be your best cup yet.”
Leo smiled from where he was ladeling into his own cup, all soft-featured and delighted in their kitchen light. Instrumental Christmas music played lowly from the speakers, adding to the ambience that made him look, in Logan’s opinion, like an angel. “Thanks, Harz. I bought some chocolate from the new chocolatier by the bookstore, it’s nice stuff.”
Finn scoffed. “This is not just nice stuff.” He took a big gulp. “This is real nice stuff.” He looked at Leo over the rim of his mug. “And you’re real hot stuff.” Finn paused to look over at Logan, giving him a once-over before he winked and smirked. “So are you.”
Logan rolled his eyes, but reached to grip Finn’s hair. “Shut up.”
“Oh-ho, you wanna make me?”
Logan just blushed and gave Finn’s head one last tug, which only made him smile wider as he brought his cup to his mouth once again.
“Lo, you want some more?”
Logan looked up at Leo, standing expectantly by the stove. “Ouais, it was so good, Le. Merci.”
He got up to bring his mug over, but Leo just shook his head. “No, no, sit, I’ll get it for you, sweetheart.”
Logan just grinned at the kiss Leo placed to his forehead, wrapping his blanket tighter around his shoulders. They were all cozy, freshly showered from an afternoon run and in sweatshirts and sweatpants. Logan had arrived the night before from New York for the Christmas break, and had no plans to move anywhere. Except maybe to their bed. Or to the kitchen, if Leo bribed him with food, which seemed likely considering the sheer amount of spices he had bought to make homemade gingerbread and molasses cookies tomorrow.
Leo came back into the room, his and Logan’s mugs in his large hands, and placed them down on the coasters on their living room table. “Any room for me on the couch, Tremblay?”
Logan grinned up at him. “Ouais, ici.”
Leo made to sit down beside him, but Logan shook his head.
“Non, ici.”
He stood up briefly, the blanket pooling around his body, and looked down behind him, and then up at Leo again.
“Oh, I see how it is,” Leo said, smiling. “We get to be your personal couch cushions for Christmas, huh?”
Logan couldn’t even find it in himself to be sheepish. He just gestured again with his eyes to the couch, and Leo complied, shaking his head but blushing all the same. He really did look so pretty when he blushed.
Finn tsked from the other end of the couch. “You are still such a baby, ten. So, so spoiled, even in your adulthood.” He sighed. “What’re we gonna do with you, huh?”
Logan just squished his cheek back into Leo’s shoulder to look over from his place on Leo’s lap. Finn looked so gorgeous, red hair long and wavy and his eyes big and brown. Most importantly, he was looking at them and smiling softly. “Ici.”
Finn snorted, but scooched over, throwing his legs horizontally over Logan’s thighs and leaning his shoulder into the cushion beside him. “You’re so lucky I love you so much,” he said drily.
Logan just hummed and wiggled a bit. “Pass me my cocoa, please? And Leo’s?”
“Bossy, bossy,” Finn said, handing Leo his mug first, then Logan’s to him with a bow of his head. “My liege.”
That made Leo snort, jostling Logan’s cocoa dangerously. He took a sip, letting the thickness of it settle on his tongue. Leo had added homemade whipped cream, too, and a touch of cinnamon and peppermint. It was sweet, spicy, and tasted like home. “Je suis content.”
Leo kissed the back of his head. “Oui, sweetheart, me, too.”
Finn kicked at them lightly. “Translation, pretty please?”
Leo leaned his head back to look at him, smiling in his soft, gentle way. “Just happy, Harz.”
Finn’s face softened. “Oh. Yeah, me too.” He reached out to play with Leo’s hair. “Love you.”
Leo kissed his palm. “Love you.”
Logan leaned his head back to rest on Leo’s shoulder. “Mes amours.” He sighed, then smiled smugly. “My favorite couch cushions.”
They laughed, which made Logan smile wider. When the cocoa was all gone, Leo put his arm out and Finn shifted to lay against his side, nose resting on Logan’s shoulder. With the music through the speakers, the string lights around their apartment, and Leo’s cocoa on his tongue, Logan felt more content than he had in months. With a sigh, he snuggled himself into their warm bodies, and let his eyes close.
Finally, he could get some rest
absolutely LIVE for Leo using southern style pet names like: darlin, sugar, honey etc and finn and Logan absolutely loving it

It all started with a dog and a cat getting more affection than him.
Well, that wasn’t necessarily true. But Logan liked to pretend it was so he could justify the way he narrowed his eyes at the two animals when they were the subject of Leo's affections.
They were in Nice for a few weeks by themselves before guests were supposed to start arriving for their wedding. It hadn't been difficult to pick the location, and they had more than enough money to pay for their non-professional athlete friends and family members to come, but the process was long and stressful and Logan, quite frankly, had had enough by the time the hockey season had ended. A few weeks with just his soon-to-be husbands sounded just perfect to him- sand, sun, and the beautiful French sea.
And it was perfect- until Leo's affections had been diverted elsewhere.
The nice ladies down at the tailors where they bought their sweaters had over the years grown quite fond of Leo. Logan could relate, obviously- it was hard not to love the epitome of sunshine in human form. Leo brought them coffee and pastries a few times a week from the place they all liked and always bought sweaters and shirts to bring back as gifts for birthdays and holidays, which Eloise absolutely loved. But more than the ladies adoring him, the store's beagle, Antoinette, and calico cat, Xavier, had really, truly fallen in love with him. They always rushed to him, sat in his lap, licked at his hands gently. So when Madame Colette had asked if Leo wanted to pet sit while she and her husband were on vacation for a little while, Leo had of course enthusiastically obliged.
Logan never thought he'd be so jealous of four-legged animals.
“Hi, darlin’, hi!” Leo cooed as Antoinette rushed to greet him at the door. “Sweet girl, how are you?”
She barked happily and hopped on her toes until Leo knelt down to scratch her ears. She tilted her head into his hand, tail happily wagging and making soft, appreciative noises through her nose. Logan scowled- he was the one that normally received head scratches.
There was a meow from the other side of the kitchen, and Logan almost scoffed. Xavier sauntered around to nudge at Leo's other hand until he scratched his head, too. Logan's fingers gripped tightly around his mug of coffee.
“Hi, sugar, how are you? Were you sleeping? You're so pretty, look at you.”
Antoinette barked again, Xavier meowed, and Logan huffed.
At the noise, Leo looked up and smiled. “Good morning, sweetheart.” He held up a bag. “I've got some nice bread and pastries to go with the eggs this morning.”
Logan just petulantly took a sip of coffee.
Leo’s eyebrows furrowed. “What's wrong?” When he saw Logan's eyes dart to the animals still at his feet, he let out a laugh. “Logan, you can't be jealous of a dog and a cat.”
Logan blushed. “I'm not.”
“You are.” Leo scratched each animal one more time before standing and walking around to the other side of the counter. He pressed against Logan's back, large hands cupping his hips, and began to kiss his neck. “I agreed to marry you, remember?”
Despite himself, Logan smiled and leaned into Leo's mouth. “Ouais.”
“I'm going to be your husband, yeah, baby?”
Logan felt his heart kick like it did every time Leo used a pet name. They sounded so good in his accent: the way the ‘o’ in ‘honey’ had an exaggerated ‘u’ sound; the way Logan saw a NOLA sunset every time Leo said ‘sweetheart’; the drawn out ‘a’ sound in ‘baby’, like how all people from New Orleans said it. Logan wanted more and more of those words from Leo's mouth only.
He turned to cup Leo's jaw and kiss him. “Je t'aime.”
Leo smiled against his lips. “I love you.”
Logan kissed him quietly again, content with Leo's warm hands on his hips and his soft hair slipping through his fingers. They maybe got a little too into it, because there was a protesting meow from close by, and they knocked their noses together as they pulled apart.
“Sorry,” Leo whispered, kissing Logan's nose and mouth quickly. They both turned to find Xavier examining them expectantly. Leo smiled. “Don't you worry, darlin’, I didn't forget about you. I bought you your food.” He picked Xavier and the shopping bag up and walked towards the living room where the food bowls were, Antoinette following close at his heels. “C'mere, sweethearts, let's get you some breakfast.”
Logan scowled again as his eyes followed Antoinette’s wagging tail and clacking feet. Another warm presence came up behind him and a kiss was pressed to his shoulder. “What are you so grumpy for?”
Logan turned to face Finn. Their noses were brushing. “Leo loves the cat and dog more than us.”
Finn just stared at him for a second before breaking out into a grin. “No he doesn't.”
“This week he does.”
“No he doesn't,” Finn repeated. He wrapped his arms more firmly around Logan's waist. “He just loves animals. Like our own Disney princess, Snow White or Cinderella or something. Rapunzel, maybe, they've both got good hair.”
Logan leaned back against Finn's chest. “He calls them ‘darling’ and ‘sugar’.”
Finn's eyes were confused. “So? He calls us all sorts of things.” His eyes went soft. “I love the way he says ‘baby’ and ‘sweetheart’. And ‘honey’. A tall glass of Southern lovin’.”
Logan elbowed Finn lightly. “He calls them those names, too.”
Finn blinked. “Huh.” He looked to the archway that led to the living room. They could hear Leo talking softly to Xavier, trying to get him to eat. “Well, that's- I mean…”
“It's not fair.”
“Well, I wouldn't go that far, but-”
They were interrupted by Leo walking back through to the kitchen. Somehow, Antoinette had ended up in his arms. She looked content, head on his shoulder and eyes closed, like a sleeping baby. Logan could feel Finn freeze behind him.
When Leo saw them both, he smiled. “Hi.” He patted Antoinette's back. “We're gonna sit in the sun for a few minutes, then I'll get started on breakfast.” He leaned across the counter to kiss them each briefly, then sat in the breakfast nook that always caught the morning sun. It lit his hair up in gold and reflected in his bright blue eyes as he settled Antoinette in his lap. She looked up at him with wide eyes, tail wagging as he kissed her forehead. “There you go, darlin’. Lay down, sweetheart, we'll rest for a few minutes.”
Finn let out a breath in Logan's ear as Leo continued to coo at the dog. “You're right,” he whispered. “That's so not fair.”
Logan nodded and kissed his cheek, and they watched as Leo stroked Antoinette’s back gently and closed his eyes against the sun.
***
The week continued as such. They awoke, and the dog was scratching at the door to be let in and snuggle into Leo's chest, the cat not far behind. Logan narrowed his eyes as his coveted pillow spot was taken. They didn't know enough to appreciate the firmness of Leo’s chest underneath their bodies.
Finn had taken to running with Antoinette in the mornings, which made them both tired and happy- Leo and Logan had found them both asleep on their backs and starfished on the bed on multiple occasions in the hot summer afternoons. And, despite stealing their fiancé, both Finn and Logan had to admit that Antoinette was cute, Xavier, too. The cat especially liked when Logan sat at the counter with him to watch Leo cook, scratching behind his ears. It was worth it for the fond smiles Leo sent them both.
The pet names, however, were still an issue.
“Hi, sugar, hi,” Leo said to a jumpy Antoinette. “I know, baby, I know, I'll get your leash.”
Finn and Logan, who were cuddling on the couch, peeked around the archway to watch as Leo got Antoinette's bright blue leash and clipped it to her collar.
“I'm taking the dog out!” Leo called as he opened the door. He blew them a kiss with a smile. “Be back in a bit.”
When the door clicked shut, Finn let out a groan and flopped his head onto Finn's chest. “Fuck,” he said. “Fuck, she's stealing our fiancé from us. They both are.”
Logan kissed his head. “He calls them more pet names than us.”
“I know.” Finn let out another groan into Logan's sweatshirt. “And the worst part is, I can't even be mad because he's so gorgeous and sexy, and the names he does call us sound so gorgeous and sexy, and every time he says them my body just melts. Ugh.”
Logan smiled into Finn's hair. “Oui, he's so gorgeous and sexy.”
“Right?” Finn shifted to turn onto his back, drawing Logan's hands to rest on his stomach and playing with his fingers. “Do you think, if we asked, he'd call us those things, too?”
Logan considered this for a moment. “Ouais, I think so. But I think it'd be- mais, allez, not weird, but…”
Finn nodded. “We've been together for so long that it'd be odd to add new names to call each other.”
“Yeah,” Logan sighed. “Are we being crazy?”
Finn hummed. “A little bit, I think, yeah.”
“I just,” Logan started, then sighed. “Je ne sais pas, I'm not… jealous. I just really like the way he says things.”
“Yeah.” Finn twiddled Logan’s fingers. “We're really lucky. He's so good.”
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. He pressed his nose into Finn's hair and closed his eyes. “You're so good.”
Finn laughed. “And you're sweet.”
There was a meow from beside them and they both looked to find Xavier looking up at them with demanding eyes.
Finn scoffed. “Oh, don't even get me started on you.” After another meow, Finn rolled his eyes and sat up a bit, reaching for the cat. “All right, all right, c'mere.” He rubbed a hand down Xavier's soft back as he settled down on Finn's stomach. Finn sighed. “Maybe they aren't so bad, after all.”
“Non, they aren't,” Logan agreed, reaching around to caress Xavier's ears. “They're not so bad.”
When Leo came in and found them both snuggling the cat, Antoinette quick to hop on the couch with them, he smiled so wide that it heated Logan from his head to his toes.
***
Logan awoke the next morning to find the bed empty and delicious smells wafting in from the kitchen. Logan could hear soft music, too, as he went to the bathroom. He stretched as he brushed his teeth. Finn was probably out for a run, he supposed, but he'd still go to the gym with Logan and Leo in the afternoon.
Logan splashed cool water on his face before going back to the bedroom and reaching for one of Leo's sweatshirts. The house was cold with the air conditioning unit his mother had had installed a few years ago. He yawned as he entered the kitchen to find Leo in boxers and a T-shirt. His back was lean through the fabric, and Logan pressed against him to kiss along his shoulder.
“Morning, sweetheart.”
Logan hummed. “Bon matin. What are you making?”
Leo reached behind to pat his butt lovingly. “Those baked eggs you both like. Just put them in the oven.”
“Merci.” He nudged Leo's hips until he turned around, smiling softly. Logan leaned up to kiss him. “You left me in bed.”
Leo stroked a hand down his cheek with an amused expression. “I'm sorry, honey.” He pressed a lingering kiss to Logan's forehead. “Better?”
Logan nodded and smiled. He wrapped his arms around Leo's neck and fell against him slightly. “Ouais, merci.”
They smiled at each other for a moment before something caught Leo's eye over Logan's shoulder. His eyes brightened. “Oh, hi, sweetheart.”
Logan turned in Leo's arms to find that Xavier had climbed up onto the counter. He felt the coldness on his hips acutely when Leo let go of him to reach around and pick up the cat, who immediately curled into Leo's chest. Logan glared at him.
“Hi, darlin’,” Leo said soothingly. He scratched under Xavier’s chin to make him purr. “Hi, baby, you're so precious.” When he looked up and saw Logan's expression he let out a sigh. He set Xavier down and nudged him towards the living room, then stood and cupped Logan's face. “Okay, what's wrong?”
Logan felt his face heat. He darted his eyes around the room. “Nothing.”
But Leo was already shaking his head. “No. No, something is wrong. You and Finn have been all weird this week.” He ran a hand through Logan's hair. “Tell me, Lo. Please?”
Logan let out a breath through his nose. He forced himself to look into Leo's concerned eyes. “D'accord. It's just… you…”
Leo's eyes were questioning. “I…?”
Logan rolled his eyes at himself. “You call them names.”
“Who?” Leo looked thoroughly confused.
“Antoinette. And Xavier.”
Leo's confused expression turned into an amused smile. “Are you actually jealous of a cat and a dog?”
Logan bit his lip. “Non, you just call them things. Nice things. Things you don't call us.”
Leo stepped closer into his space. “But I call you nice things, too.” A kiss to his forehead. “Like honey.” A kiss to his cheek. “And sweetheart.” A smile pressed to his mouth. “And baby.” At Logan's shiver, Leo nudged their noses together. “Yeah, you like that one.”
Logan couldn't take it anymore. He captured Leo's lips with his own, allowing himself to be kissed deeply for a moment. Leo’s thumbs were soft on his cheeks, and he smelled like home, and was so warm against Logan's body. Logan got a little lost in the moment, and was surprised when Leo pulled back to look at him.
“Seriously,” Leo said. “I can stop calling them names, if you want. Whatever makes you happy, Lo.”
But Logan shook his head. “Non, non, it's not that.” He carded his hand through Leo's curls. “Finn and I- we like the names you call them.”
Leo's smile was amused. “You want me to call you ‘darlin’ and ‘sugar'?”
Logan suddenly felt embarrassed. “Ugh,” he groaned, smushing his face into Leo's chest. “Désolé, soleil. I'm sorry.”
“No, Lo, don't be sorry,” Leo laughed, running a hand up and down Logan's back. “I just thought they were too cheesy when we started dating.”
Logan pulled back to look at him. “What?”
Leo shrugged. “I thought they were too stereotypically southern, I guess, I don't know.” He leaned in mischievously. “And you don't exactly call someone ‘sugar’ in bed. Sweetheart, on the other hand…”
Logan kissed his smile. “Non, ‘sugar’ doesn't sound so good in bed. But out of bed…?”
Leo's eyes were sparkling. “Why would we ever leave bed?”
Logan scoffed. “I'd prefer we didn't. Why are we in the kitchen? We're all alone.”
Leo tucked his face down into Logan's neck with a light laugh. “I'll call you and Fish whatever you both want, okay, baby?” He paused. “Darlin’.”
Logan just hummed happily, squeezing Leo's back harder. They held each other, swaying for a moment to Leo's playlist. Logan almost fell asleep, but then the song changed, and the familiar guitar plucking and soothing voice of John Denver reverberated around the room.
“Hey,” Logan whispered, pressing a kiss to Leo's cheek as he pulled back. “This is our wedding song.”
Leo's smile was soft. “It is.” He reached for Logan’s right hand, running his palm down the length of his arm to lace their fingers together. He settled his hand more firmly into the dip of Logan's lower back. “You wanna practice, sweetheart?”
Logan squeezed his hand. “Ouais.”
It started out practiced, swaying and stepping in time in the kitchen. Leo's hand was good in guiding Logan around. He only let go for a brief moment to put the song on repeat. Eventually, they stopped trying to dance so formally and Logan drew Leo closer to press their foreheads and chests together. This soon, too, grew too spacious, and Logan ended up with his head resting on Leo's collarbone, Leo's nose in his hair.
Logan didn't know how long they spent there, dancing in the soft light coming through the window, but it was long enough for the doorknob to turn and for Finn and Antoinette to come tumbling through and into the entryway. Logan watched as Leo's eyes lit up with fond excitement at the sound of Finn's fumbling. He didn't turn, just snuggled into Leo's chest again.
“There you go, girl, go get some water!” A breath. “Well, what have we here?”
Logan felt Leo press a hand to the back of his hair. “We're practicing for the wedding, sugar.”
Logan felt hand grip his hips by Leo's and a hard kiss was pressed into his neck. “Looks like someone had a talk with our sunshine.”
Logan blindly turned his head for a real kiss. Finn's skin was slightly cool. “Ouais, we did.” He turned back into Leo's chest. “But he won't call us ‘sugar’ in bed.”
“Yeah, that's not attractive,” Finn laughed. His warmth left Logan's back and then his face appeared over Leo's shoulder. He kissed Leo's cheek and cupped Leo's hips. “Can I join?”
Leo tilted their temples together. “Are you sweaty?”
“The dog and I took a little dip before coming back.”
Leo turned to face him with a raised eyebrow. “Does that mean Antoinette is dripping puddles on the carpet?”
Finn winced. “Maybe a little. It's just water!”
Leo sighed and closed his eyes. “What are we gonna do with you, baby?”
“You can keep calling me ‘baby’, that's for sure.”
Leo just hummed and leaned into Finn's head, which was now resting on his shoulder. Finn smiled briefly at Logan before closing his eyes, too. He rubbed one hand over Logan's ribs. “We’re getting married!” Finn whisper-yelled.
Logan and Leo each chuckled, Leo turning his face to kiss by Finn's ear. “Yeah, sweetheart.”
“Yay, yay, yay!”
“Rouge,” Logan said, reaching up to trace under Finn's eyes.
“Yeah?”
“Sh, mon amour, we're dancing.”
“Right,” Finn said softly. “Right, sorry.” He instantly relaxed under their hands, closing his eyes and resting against Leo again. “I love you.”
“We love you, honey,” Leo replied. He kissed Finn's cheek one more time. “Let's dance.”
Logan smiled against the fabric of Leo’s T-shirt, sun-warmed from the light streaming in through the windows. He decided that he didn't care if nobody made it to their wedding, if it was raining, or even if there was a thunderstorm- none of that would stop him from dancing with his husbands. He couldn't wait to feel the coolness of their wedding rings, the soft fabric of their suites, their skin, warm on excitement and adrenaline. Logan had been given the greatest gift he hadn't even thought to look for, and nothing would ever compare to the love he felt every time he touched Finn and Leo’s bodies, or heard their voices, or saw them smile.
And so, content and swaying to the acoustic guitar of Annie’s Song, Logan settled into the warmth of them and closed his eyes.
Hi! I just discovered your blog this week as I've been desperate for any O'Knutzy content I can find. I love your writing! I am swiftly making my way through your masterlist. I'm just wondering do you post your works onto AO3? Or just Tumblr? Have a good day :) ❤️💛💚
Hi there!
Aw, I'm so glad you found my blog and that you enjoy it! That makes me so happy.
I just post my works here, not on AO3 (that is kinda the BIG LEAGUES, and I prefer the Little League, haha). I tend to post every 3-5 days and my request box is ALWAYS open. I started this blog just on my own ideas, but one person sent me a writing prompt and I LOVED IT SO MUCH that that's pretty much what I do now. You send me headcanons and I bring them to life to the best of my availability! It sometimes takes me a while (between 2-4 weeks) to answer each ask, unless I decide to go out of order for some reason (sometimes people have bad days and request a prompt, so I try to get those ones done ASAP so they hopefully feel a bit better!). People send them anonymously or not, it's entirely up to you. :)
All-in-all, it's just a pretty chill little blog and allows me to do something creative with my free time!
I hope you have a good day, too!
Can we get some VERY LITTLE angst with LOTS OF COMFORT AND FLUFF that maybe touches on the hurt that Leo felt when Logan got protective over Finn after his concussion it makes me want to cry how guilty he probably felt because Jack was the one who hurt Finn 🥲 and then Logan snapping at him probably solidified that guilt/ also made him feel like an outsider in their relationship
Poor sunshine. That was a tough time for him. :(
I kinda reworked this prompt a bit, because in Vaincre it does address some of the elements you mentioned, anon, HOWEVER, I do think I did it justice. Please let me know, though, if you want another perspective or something. Maybe a reflective Leo in NOLA (even though that angst would be yikes)?
I've FINALLY got a good chunk of prompts written, so please keep sending in more! They're a good brain exercise/creative escape when I need a break from my homework. To all going through finals right now- I feel you, I see you, and FUCK GROUP PROJECTS, oh my goodness. I'm never going to recover, I fear. It's not the people in the group, obviously, but holy smokes I work better solo. Sending thoughts and prayers to all those who feel the same as me, haha.
ANYWHO, enjoy a bit of angst, a lot of love, and a hefty amount of Logan Tremblay Weighted Blanket Extraordinaire (because his sunshine was gone for a LONG TIME, okay?! He went through a withdrawal and now has a Vitamin D deficiency, and the only cure is Leo's bare skin touching his for a MINIMUM of twelve hours of snuggles. So sue him.).

Leo never wanted to move from their arms again. Finn’s uninjured one was scratching the back of his head, and Logan was a warm heat against Leo’s back, hands clasped tight around his stomach. Leo breathed out a sigh and sank into the warmth even New Orleans couldn’t provide him.
“Hi, baby,” Finn whispered. He was pressing kisses softly over Leo’s face. “Hi, we missed you. Right, Lo?”
Leo felt Logan’s hum reverberate throughout his body. A kiss was dropped onto the back of his left shoulder. “Ouais, so much.”
Finn’s smile was soft and fond when he looked at Leo. “To what do we owe the surprise?”
Leo shrugged. He rubbed his hands up and down Finn’s ribs distractedly. “Just didn’t wanna stay away. Missed you. And…”
I think- I’m trying to say sorry.
You think?
I fucked up.
Yeah, Jack, you think?
“Le?”
Finn was a bit concerned now. Leo reached up with one hand to brush his hair back from his forehead carefully. His eyes flashed to the band of his sling. I’m sorry. For high school. For the lights, for these last few months, for O’Hara.
“Soleil?”
Leo opened up an arm for Logan to tuck into his side. He kissed his cheek. “I think I want to shower. Then we can- I can talk about it.”
Finn nodded. “Of course, yeah, of course.” He nudged their noses together and kissed him lightly. “Do you want us to come with you?”
Leo thought for a moment then shook his head. “I need to collect my thoughts. Please.”
“D’accord.” Logan reached up to cup Leo’s jaw and leaned in for a kiss. “We love you so much.”
“Love you.” Leo sighed and squeezed each of them, Finn a little more gently. “Okay, give me ten minutes.”
Leo felt the distance from them acutely while in the shower. He’d almost asked them to stay outside the shower doors. Logan would have started there, at least, but he would have wormed his way in to be close to Leo. And Finn would try and talk and distract him, because that was what he did, and he was so kind and gorgeous, but Leo didn’t need that right now- as much as he wanted it. Jack’s pinched face on the dock flashed through his mind. He sucked in a breath and turned the shower off hard, slipping a bit on the floor a bit as he grabbed a towel. He dripped water on the floor in his haste to get to their bedroom, but he hardly noticed.
When he opened the door, Finn was straddling Logan’s lap, both of them smiling softly and whispering. Finn had his good arm draped over Logan’s shoulder and was scratching his scalp. They both turned to look at Leo when he entered with happy eyes.
“Hi,” Leo whispered with a small smile.
Logan’s own smile got wider, if possible, and he nudged Finn off his lap to stand and press himself against Leo’s chest. His fingers played with the edge of the towel around Leo’s hips. He let out a sigh. “Je t’aime.”
Leo caught Finn’s eye over Logan’s head. The corner of his eyes were crinkled at the edges. “Grumpy missed you.”
Leo rested his cheek on top of Logan’s head. “Just him?”
“Obviously not.”
“I missed you, too.” He kissed Logan’s temple. “I gotta get changed.”
“Mm,” Logan hummed. “Non.”
“Ouais, honey, I do.”
Logan let out another soft noise of contentment. “Your accent sounds stronger.” He pulled back slightly to run his hands up and down Leo’s arms and kissed him. “I love it.”
Leo knew his face was red from blushing when he gave Logan a last kiss and turned to the dresser. He was searching for his favorite pair of Finn’s plaid boxers when he felt two arms wrap around his waist again. He hung his head back with a laugh. “Logan.”
When Logan didn’t say anything, Leo looked over his shoulder. Finn was still watching them with playful eyes.
“Lo, sweetheart, I gotta get changed.”
“Non, you don’t.”
“Oh my God. Okay, fine, stay there.”
It was a bit of a struggle, getting boxers on with a barnacle attached to his back, especially when Logan made a real effort to prevent Leo from putting them on in the first place. Leo turned to raise his eyebrows at him when he felt a playful tap to his butt. Logan was hiding his grin in the skin of Leo's shoulder, green eyes looking innocently up at him. Leo shook his head fondly and managed to pull the waistband around his hips. But when there was another pinch, he spun around and bent to wrap his arms under Logan’s thighs. Logan let out a loud laugh, squeezing his feet together in the small of Leo’s back as he was lifted. Leo narrowed his eyes.
“You’re trouble, Tremblay.”
“You realize he got exactly what he wanted, right?” Finn asked through his own laugh.
“Mhm.” Leo leaned in to nudge his and Logan’s noses together. “Like he somehow always does.”
Logan tucked his face in Leo’s neck. “Mm, ouais.”
Leo snorted. “You have no shame.”
He walked over to the bed and knelt on the mattress beside Finn, leaning over and falling on top of Logan. They both let out an oof and Logan threw his head back in a laugh, his face flushed in the way it got when he was really, truly happy. Leo leaned down to kiss his cheeks. He felt Finn press a warm palm to his back.
“Oh, baby,” Finn whispered, kissing Leo’s shoulders. “We’re so happy, we’re so happy you’re home.”
Leo shifted onto his side to lay in between them, Logan resting his head against his chest. “Me, too.”
Finn tugged on one of his curls. “How are you feeling?”
“Better,” Leo said. He pushed himself to sit up against the pillows, bringing Logan with him. “Better, definitely.”
“Good.” Finn kissed his forehead and Leo felt tension he didn’t know he was carrying melt away.
They sat there in silence for a minute. Finn and Logan were both watching Leo carefully, even as they kept their hands busy touching his skin and hair. Leo knew they were waiting for him to talk. He took a deep breath and watched Logan play with his fingers. “I saw Jack.”
Logan’s eyes darkened. His jaw clenched. “Quoi?”
Leo avoided their gazes. “He found me when I was bringing the boat in. This afternoon.”
Finn cupped Leo’s jaw to meet his eyes. “And?”
Leo chewed on his bottom lip. “He said he was sorry.”
Finn scoffed. “Good.” At Leo’s silence, Finn eyebrows furrowed. His fingers were still mindlessly playing with Leo’s jaw. “Not good?”
Leo felt his shoulders sink. “He said he was sorry.” He looked at Finn. “For you.” At Logan. “For high school. For the lights, for- everything. I don’t know, he held himself accountable. And I accepted it.” He shrugged. “So that’s that, I guess, but…” He felt his eyes heat up a bit. “I don’t know, I still feel…”
“Mon soleil.” Logan looked a bit sad as he straddled Leo’s lap, fingers coming to lace themselves through Leo’s curls. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, mon coeur.” He kissed Leo’s cheeks gently. “Mon amour,” he murmured.
“No.” Leo gripped Logan’s hips hard. “No, Lo, I’m sorry.”
“Quoi? What, no-”
“Yeah, yes.” Leo nodded quickly. He looked between Finn and Logan, who both had curious and hesitant looks on their faces. “I’m so sorry. About making Finn’s concussion about me, about leaving you in New York, I don’t- I don’t know why I did that, that was really mean, and I’m sorry. I love you so much, and I’m so sorry.”
“Whoa, whoa, hey,” Finn hushed. He knelt up to bring Leo’s head to rest against his chest on his good side. “Hey, Le, no, baby. No, baby, no.” He pressed his mouth into Leo’s hair. “Don’t be sorry, sweetheart, it’s not your fault.”
“It kind of is.” Leo pulled back to look at him. “I left Logan. In New York. And Jack did take his anger out on you, he told me. And he was angry at me, and so I- seeing him, and hearing him tell me, it just-” He let out a frustrated noise. “I guess I just realized how much I missed you. How separate I felt for a minute, and how much I didn’t like that.”
“Leo.” Logan coaxed Leo into looking at him. “We already said sorry, mon coeur. It’s all okay now.” He kissed Leo, firm but gentle. “I don’t want you to feel like that again, d’accord?”
“I know.” Leo nodded and sniffed. Logan brushed his thumbs over Leo’s cheeks where a few tears had fallen. “I know, sorry. I just- I think Jack just made me feel guilty again.”
Finn kissed Leo’s cheek hard. “Fucker.”
Despite that, Leo laughed. “I guess, yeah. A bit.” He let his head fall back and closed his eyes. “I don’t know, I still want him to be happy. But I don’t really want to see him.” He opened his eyes again. “Is that awful of me?”
“No,” Finn whispered. He was smiling softly. “No, baby, that’s not awful of you. I think that’s very big of you, wanting him to be happy, even though he hurt you. Not many people would.”
“Ouais, me.”
Leo threw his head back and gasped out a laugh. “Logan!”
“Quoi? It’s true!” He buried his face in Leo’s neck and kissed the skin there. “I don’t want to see you hurting.” He pulled away to look at Finn. “Either of you. He hurt you both, and I don’t like that.”
Leo’s laughter subsided and he pressed their foreheads together. “I know, sweetheart.” He kissed Logan’s lips quickly. “I don’t want to hurt anymore either. But I feel better.” He reached out for Finn’s hand and kissed the back of it. “And you? How are you feeling, baby?”
Finn smiled. “I’m so good. So good.” He moved to sit beside Leo, snuggling close with his nose in Leo’s neck. “So happy you’re better, baby. How was the rest of New Orleans?”
Leo could almost feel the warmth of his city on his skin if he thought hard enough. “Really, really good. Cooked a lot with my parents, saw my cousins, the neighbors. Took the boat out a lot and went fishing. Ran with my mama, got ice cream with dad. The usual.”
Finn hummed, busy kissing Leo’s jaw. “Good usual?”
Leo nodded. “Yeah. Really good.” He stretched out his legs under Logan’s weight. “Mama and dad are excited we’re coming down. Said they want to have a party for you if you win, Lo. Or even if you don’t. My cousins and stuff are dying to meet you both.”
“Oh, boy,” Finn said, waggling his eyebrows. “A southern-style welcome.”
“I will go,” Logan whispered, brushing his nose with Leo’s, as if he couldn’t help it. “If there is good food.”
Leo snorted. “Oh honey,” he said, shaking his head fondly. “You already know there will be. The Knuts cook some mean barbecue.”
“Bien,” Logan sighed. He wiggled happily in the cradle of Leo’s hips, then rested his head back on his chest. “Sleep.”
“Okay, hold on.”
Leo shifted himself down to lie flat on the bed, Logan a warm weight on top of him and Finn against his opposite shoulder, ankles intertwined. Finn pulled the covers over them and kissed each of their cheeks. “Feels good to have you back in bed,” he said with a yawn. “Was empty.”
“Mm.” Leo squeezed Finn’s ankles between his own. He sighed. “I always sleep better with you both.”
Logan made a slightly distressed noise. “Did you sleep in New Orleans?”
“A bit, yeah. Had to tire myself out a lot, though.” He rubbed a hand up and down Logan’s warm back. “Feels better when I’m home.”
“Yeah,” Finn agreed. His face was slack; two more minutes and he would be asleep. “Feels better when you’re home.”
Logan pressed a kiss right into the center of Leo’s chest. “Sleep, mon coeur. If you can’t, I’ll rub your back.”
Leo felt his breath hitch a bit. It felt so good to be home. “I love you,” he whispered.
“Love you.”
“Je t’aime.”
Leo closed his eyes. For the first time in what felt like months, with the heat of their skin against his, he felt himself finally relax as he drifted off to sleep.

Hey hey hey, just wanted to tell you that everything you’ve written has been an absolute JOY to read. I was thinking about logan and how he’s from rimouski which is a kinda small town I think?for a prompt maybe logan is showing finn and leo around his hometown, where he grew up skating, and where he used to get into trouble and his highschool :)
Yikes, this one is LONG!! Apologies.
I LOVE showing people around my hometown, even though I don't get back much anymore. I feel lucky that I am always happy to go home, even if I could NEVER imagine living there permanently again, which is kind of how I think Logan feels.
I also did some research on Rimouski, just to get a feel for it. It's not a BIG city, but it's a port town, so it's fairly large. However, I have learned that a 'small town' means different things to different people, depending on where you're from. I'm from a 'small town'of 13,000 people, but there's a town next to me with 4,000. From what I understand, Rimouski has about 50,000 people. So for me, it's HUGE! But if you're from NYC or something, that's fairly small!
Enjoy some fluffity fluffy fluff!! All credits to @lumosinlove !!

“Finn!”
Logan watched as Finn laughed and was swept up into a hug by his sisters Sydney and Aubrey, all chatting excitedly as Logan and Leo stepped out of their rental car behind them. The flight from New Orleans was still in his muscles, and Logan stretched his arms over his head to relieve some of the tension. A hand came to rest on his lower back, and he squinted at Leo beside him, who was smiling softly.
“Salut, soleil,” Logan said gently. He reached up to twist the gray curls on the front of Leo’s forehead. “Ça va?”
Leo nodded, but his eyes were tense. “Yeah, just tired.” He flushed and looked over to where Finn had an arm around each of the girls and was still laughing. “A little nervous.”
“Regarde-moi,” Logan whispered, and lowered his hand to cup Leo's cheek. “They all love you, d'accord?” He leaned up to kiss Leo softly. “And most importantly, I love you.”
Leo nodded and took a deep breath. “Okay.” He kissed Logan quickly. When he spoke again, it was in French, which warmed Logan from the inside. “Okay, I love you, too.” He grinned. “Now let's get our bags before we get dragged away by your sisters.”
As if summoned, Sydney and Aubrey appeared behind Logan to dog pile him, and he rolled his eyes fondly as he turned to hug them. Noelle came put a bit more calmly, and Logan watched as she hugged Leo tightly. They were more familiar with each other, and Logan was grateful that she was providing him a warming presence. Still, the tension lingered in Leo's shoulders. Logan vowed to massage it out later.
“You ready to give those boys of yours a Canadian welcome?” Aubrey asked. It was reassuring, hearing his own accent after the whirlwind of adjusting to the French that Leo and his parents had spoken at home.
Sydney hummed in agreement. “Especially your Leo.” She patted Logan's shoulder. “At least he speaks more French than the redhead over here.”
“Hey,” Finn said. He’d crossed his arms and was pouting. Logan couldn't help but smile at him, gone on the way he looked standing on the steps and framed by his family home after so long. “I might not speak French fluently, but I can tell when you're talking about me.”
Sydney laughed and went over to scuff his head.
***
This was all he needed, Logan thought. They were in their rental car, Leo beside him in the passenger's seat, Finn in the middle row behind them. The wind was blowing their hair back from the open windows and they were laughing as Finn sang along horribly with the radio. The car had always been his safe space to be a little silly, a little dorky. He was earnest and fun all the time, but only Logan and Leo got to see him truly let himself go and indulge all those beautiful thoughts that were constantly running through his brain. Logan smiled at him in the rearview mirror and readjusted his hand on the steering wheel to reach over and place the other on Leo's thigh. Leo laced his fingers over the back of Logan's own.
“Allez,” Logan said, nodding out the window. “That's my old high school.”
He slowed down and pulled over so they both could see. He had taken Finn here years ago and they'd snuck around to the football field and laid out in the sun. The school itself was nothing remarkable, but Leo lit up ten different colors when he looked at it for the first time.
“Hey, sunshine,” Finn said, leaning over to rest his chin on Leo's shoulder over the back of the seat. He was smirking. “Ask Lo about what he got up to behind the bleachers.”
Leo laughed and looked at Logan in amusement. “Oh? What happened behind the bleachers?”
Logan bit his lip and rolled his eyes at Finn playfully. “Nothing awful. Just… the usual. Weed, booze-”
“Bad blow jobs.”
Leo barked out a laugh and Logan flushed. “Finn.”
“What? It's funny!”
Leo was still laughing when he squeezed Logan's fingers. His blue eyes were mischievous. “What'd you do? Get caught or something?”
“Non,” Logan said. His cheeks were burning. “I didn't even ask her! She offered to me because she had never- and I hadn't-” He huffed. “She just- her teeth.”
That made Leo laugh even harder, leaning back in his seat. Finn had his cheek on the headrest, smiling at Logan brightly. “Poor girl.”
“Was she okay?” Leo asked.
Logan nodded sheepishly. “Ouais, she was fine. It actually wasn't the last time we- well.”
Finn's eyes widened and he sat up. “Wait. Was she your- your first time, too?”
“She was nice. And she didn't care about the whole-” Logan waved his hand up and down. “-hockey thing. Lots of girls did, but she didn’t. She was first in our class and she was kind. We had history together, we got along.” He shrugged. “So we- you know. A few times. It was good, I guess.”
He smiled widely at Finn's narrowed eyes and leaned over to kiss him lightly. “Not as good as with you, don't worry, rouge.” He turned to nudge at Leo's cheek with his nose. “And your blow jobs are way better, soleil.”
Leo snorted. “I should hope so,” he said drily, but he accepted Logan's sweet kiss. “You make me practice a lot.”
Logan laughed and put the car into gear to pull away.
***
“Oh my God!” Leo gasped. He pulled his sweatshirt sleeves over his fingers. “This rink is way nicer than mine back home.”
Finn nudged him. “You're in Canadia, nutter butter. This is considered a shit-hole here.”
Logan tisked. “Non, rouge is telling lies.” He held the door to the stands open for them. “This is a nice rink. Lots of summer camps, and we've got gear for kids that can't afford it.”
Leo smiled softly as he took the ice in for the first time. “That's nice. I like that.” Without anybody there with them, he grabbed at Logan's hand to pull their bodies together. “Did you ever go to summer camp here?”
Logan reached up to play with the ends of his curls. “I coached them, mon coeur. The middle schoolers. The little kids.”
Leo's eyebrows raised. “Oh yeah?”
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. He took a quick look around before leaning up and kissing him. “I like little kids.”
“Don't say that here,” Finn scolded. He looked conflicted and his ears were red. “That’s grounds for public indecency in the bleachers.”
Leo and Logan laughed at him. Suddenly, a thought occurred to Logan, and he turned to Leo again with a smile.
“You know, soleil,” he said, leaning in. “I would’ve coached you at summer camp. In high school.”
Leo groaned and rolled his eyes. “You think you’re so funny.”
Logan just kissed his cheek. “Je t’aime.” He turned to Finn, who was watching them gently. “Ça va?”
Finn nodded. “Mm hm.” He brushed Logan’s hair out of his face. “I like you both with little kids.”
Leo snorted. “Nope, I still practically am one, according to this one,” he said, nudging Logan with his shoulder. “We are taking a rain check on this conversation.”
That didn't seem to deter Finn, who reached to play with Leo’s fingers, eyes bright. “So the conversation is happening.”
“Not yet, Fish, my Lord.”
“Not yet? Oh man.”
“Okay,” Logan interrupted with a laugh. “Allez, allez, let’s go. Home for dinner and maman is making cassoulet.”
***
Leo's laugh rang out across their backyard as he worked in the garden with Iva. They were- planting? Weeding? Picking? Logan didn't know what they were doing exactly, but he knew that he couldn't take his eyes off of Leo and the way he spoke French with his maman. His parents both loved Leo, but Iva had really taken to him because he was gentle and ready and willing to kneel in the garden with her. Logan's parents had started that garden when he'd gone off to college, and since then it had grown to an immense size. Most of their vegetables in the spring, summer, and fall came from that garden, and they spent Logan didn't know how much time and effort maintaining and caring for it. Leo's eyes had immediately got excited when he saw it, which Logan filed away in that folder in his brain for future reference. Leo deserved his own garden someday, Logan decided.
Behind him, through the screen door, his father’s soft, accented English mixed with Finn’s loud American, barking tone. They were mixing drinks, Logan assumed. Marius had invested in a bar cart the year previous, and Finn had been anxious and curious to see it. Logan could hear bottles clinking and their chatter. He felt at peace with their voices surrounding him, mixing with the cadence of the French that Leo and his maman were speaking.
“You know, Lolo,” Sydney said in French from beside him, peeking out over her sunglasses from where she was sat in an Adirondack chair. “I don’t think maman is going to let that Leo of yours go now that she’s got him in that garden.
Logan laughed. “Non, I don't thinks so either.” He sighed and settled against his own seat back. “I want to get him a garden some day.”
Noelle snorted. “You can’t just get people gardens, Lobear. You can buy land-”
“D’accord, you know what I meant.”
“Do you want to buy Leo land?” Aubrey asked suddenly.
Logan turned to stare at her. “Quoi?”
“I'm just saying…” She bit her cheek. Aubrey was quiet most of the time, and often struggled to find words. Logan related to her the most, in that respect. “I guess I'm asking if you see that. With him- and Finn.” She gestured with her hand. “The house, the garden, the future.”
“Oh,” Logan said, taken aback.
He had kind of thought that was a given, if he was honest. Leo and Finn were it for him, he knew it. They knew it, too, he supposed. They just seemed to talk about the future already assuming that they were forever. He'd never talked about it directly- not with them, not with anyone.
Aubrey's eyes were still watching him knowingly, but she was smiling. “Leo's so gentle and kind. He's so good to you, you know? Finn, too, he always has been.” She squeezed his arm. “They deserve you. Don't forget that you deserve them, too. We all want that for you.”
Logan took an inhale, lost for words. All three of his sisters, who knew him better than almost anyone, who wanted nothing but the best for him, were watching him carefully. He turned to face them.
“Merci,” he whispered. He felt his cheeks warm. “Thank you for saying that. I-” He huffed, a little frustrated, and they all looked at him amusedly. “Allez, you know.” He sighed. “I really missed you.”
Noelle laughed. “Look at our little Lolo. All grown up with his big feelings.”
He narrowed his eyes at his sisters as they all laughed. Sydney ruffled his hair. “We missed you, too.”
Logan turned back to watch Leo and Iva, who had moved onto some green looking vegetables. They were checking under the leaves- for worms, Logan supposed. He loved the way Leo's French mixed with his mother's. At first, when he heard Leo speak it for the first time, he hadn't been so sure. But now, he loved it as much as his own Quebecois accent. French meant his old home, where he was from. But mixed with Leo's voice, slightly Cajun from his parent's influence, it was home, too. Leo's French was his two worlds colliding and mixing and existing in the same plane- a new home with Leo and Finn. His forever home. Logan sighed and rested his chin on his hand to take in Leo's tan skin and blond curls.
Suddenly, a glass appeared in front of him and a hand rested on his upper back. Finn's voice was quiet in his ear. “Hi, baby. Brought you something.”
Logan tilted his head back and looked up at Finn, who looked so gorgeous with his hair pushed back slightly, more wavy from the summer humidity. He was smiling and kissed Logan’s forehead before shaking the glass. “Long Island iced tea. With peach iced tea to make it sweeter for you, sweet thing.”
Logan smiled and rested his temple against Finn’s hip. He took the glass from him. “Merci, rouge.” He took a sip. “Mm, it’s good.”
“Hey, freckle!” Noelle called from the end of the deck. She was looking at him over her sunglasses expectantly. “Where’s our iced beverages?”
Finn rolled his eyes but was grinning. “Your dad’s almost done. I had to make a special delivery.”
Noelle snorted and turned back to her book. Aubrey caught Logan’s eye with raised brows as if to say, See? Logan nodded at her and leaned into Finn’s touch.
Finn sighed from above him. “He looks so happy, doesn’t he? Le.”
Logan smiled at the way Leo took the basket of vegetables from his mother, waving her off with one hand as he walked over to the hose to wash them. She stood with her hands on her hips, caught them watching, and winked.
Logan held a hand up for Finn to take and played with his fingers. “Ouais. I was thinking…”
“You? Yikes, you feeling okay?”
Logan bonked his head against Finn’s stomach. “Fish, this is important.”
A kiss was dropped to his head. “I’m listening.” He bent to whisper in Logan’s ear. “God, I love your voice.”
Logan nudged his shoulder against Finn’s jaw gently and laughed, before settling down again. “I was thinking…” He let go of Finn’s hand to cup his jaw and look into his eyes. His beautiful brown eyes. “I was thinking that I want to get Leo space for a garden. Someday.”
Finn's smile was blinding. “Yeah?”
Logan nodded and traced his cheek. “Ouais. And maybe a bar cart. For you. And bookshelves with a library ladder. And a nice big kitchen for Leo. And a reading nook for the both of you.”
“And what'll you have?”
Logan flitted his eyes across Finn's face, then to Leo, who was washing carrots. He gripped Finn's hair and touched their temples. “I'll have you and Le.” He sighed shakily. “That's all I want.” He laughed. “Plus, I'll probably just follow you both around the house to wherever you are, anyways.”
Finn laughed into a brief kiss. “You lost puppy.” He regarded Logan carefully, still smiling. “I love you.”
“Je t'aime,” Logan sighed happily. “I love you so much.”
“Hey,” Leo's voice said softly. Instantly, they turned to look at him. He was smiling broadly and standing in front of them. He patted the basket in his arms. “Got some fresh veggies. Y'all want a platter with some dip? I could whip some up.”
“Yes, please,” Sydney said. “And some iced cold beverages, too, please O'Hara.”
“On it.”
Finn and Leo each passed a hand through Logan's hair before going inside. He sighed and tilted his face up towards the sun.
***
Later, Logan was watching Finn and Leo get ready for bed with a warm feeling in his chest. Leo's chest was still damp from his shower, and Logan’s eyes followed a water droplet down his happy trail and to the hem of his boxers. Finn must have noticed, too, because he brushed his thumb over the wet mark and licked some of the water on Leo's collarbone. Leo laughed and nudged Finn slightly, but Finn just leaned up and kissed his cheek. Logan suddenly felt a desperate wanting to have them beside him.
“Ici,” he said.
Finn's eyes on his were playful. “What? You getting jealous?” He walked over and flopped down on Logan. “I'll lick you, too, if you want. Watch.”
Logan laughed. “Non, non, rouge-”
But it was too late. Finn had bent his head to lick up Logan's stomach, running his tongue across his own happy trail before settling his chin against Logan's chest. “Don't lie, baby, you like being licked.”
Logan just traced the purple under his eyes with his thumbs. He looked up to Leo, who was putting his dirty garden clothes in the laundry hamper. “Soleil, ici.”
“I'm coming, sweetheart.” He dug around in his suitcase for a second before holding up a book. “Just getting my book out for bed, honey.”
Logan sighed and leaned against Leo's side as he sat down. “I have to tell you something.”
“Okay,” Finn said. He ran a hand up and down Logan's ribs. “Are you okay, baby?”
Logan nodded. He pushed Finn's hair back and settled underneath the arm Leo rested across his shoulders. “I just- I have something to tell you.”
Leo kissed his temple. “What is it, sweetheart?”
Logan took a deep breath. He pressed his cheek to Leo's shoulder, cool from the shower water, and cupped Finn's freckled face in his hands. “You do know that you're forever for me, oui?”
Finn's eyes closed and Leo's breath hitched against his shoulder. They were waiting for him to continue, and he didn't want to keep it in any longer.
“I need you to know that,” he said. He bent to kiss Finn's forehead, then tilted his head up to press his lips to Leo's jaw. Leo's eyes were blue and wide like jewels. “You're it for me. You're forever. There's- there's nothing after you, d'accord? Nothing. I love you too much for there to be room for anything else.”
Leo breathed shakily into his hair. “Oh.”
Logan nudged his cheek with his nose. “Soleil, do you understand? You're it, mon coeur.” When Leo nodded, biting his lip, Logan turned to Finn, who still had his eyes closed and his mouth resting beside Logan's nipple. “Rouge. Rouge do you understand?”
When Finn's eyes opened, they were warm and watery. “I've wanted to have you forever since the day I met you.” Logan's breath hitched as Finn adjusted himself to straddle his thighs. He cupped Logan's jaw firmly, a tear catching on his eyelashes before falling down his cheek. “You've been my forever since you walked into that stupid frat house with that backwards hat. I have loved you every second I've known you, baby. Every single second. And you.” He turned to Leo and smiled in that way him and Logan both did when they caught sight of those baby blues. “You were the most unexpected, beautiful gift the NHL ever gave me. I love to play hockey, sunshine, but I was made to love you. To love both of you.” His tears were falling a bit more freely now, and he brushed the ones that were falling from Leo’s eyes away with his thumbs. “Don’t you ever doubt that, Le, baby. We were made to love you.”
“Ouais, mon coeur,” Logan whispered. He tucked his face into Leo's neck and breathed his scent in deeply. “We love you so much.”
Leo nodded, but he was still sniffling. He tried to speak, but his breath only hitched with a light sob. When his shoulders started shaking, Finn moved away from Logan to settle on top of his lap and hold him. “Oh, Le, baby, it's okay. It's okay, sweetheart.” He kissed the side of Leo's head. “We love you so much.”
“I'm so sorry,” Leo got out. He leaned back to look at Finn and drew Logan close to him. “I'm sorry, it's just- I mean- I just don't know what to do without you. I'm barely an adult, and I don't know what I’d do without you, and I- it's just a lot. I just love you so- so much.”
Surprisingly, that made Finn laugh. “You're so pretty when you cry, you know that?”
Leo just groaned and pinched Finn's hip. “I just mean… I'm still nineteen. Most people don't find their forever at nineteen, or know what that forever feels like. And just- I'm younger but it doesn't feel that way? We're in love, and we live together, and I'm nineteen, and I-” He took a pained breath. “You two- you're too permanent for this to go sideways and have me come out on the other side okay.”
Logan sucked in a breath. “But that's not going to happen, d'accord?” He twisted to kneel up beside them both, taking Leo's face in his hands and looking down at him. “You’re forever, mon soleil. This is it.” He kissed his wet cheeks. “You found us, mon chou. You, okay? Finn and I felt okay to love each other because of you, because we also get to love you.”
“Lo's right,” Finn said. He took Leo's hand and kissed it. “There's no us without you. We are not anything if you're not here, too, okay, baby? I am meant to love you both or nothing at all, there's no in between.”
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. “I love you both, or nothing at all.”
Leo nodded and looked at them each carefully, lovingly. “I love you more than anything. Anything at all.” He shrugged and smiled softly. “Besides, finding you at nineteen means lots and lots of years together.”
Logan smiled widely. “Ouais. Ouais, you're right, it does.” He kissed Leo, then Finn, then flopped down onto Leo's chest with a grunt. “That was so much English.”
Finn and Leo both laughed loudly and Finn crawled over to rest on Leo's other side. “I don't think you've talked that much ever.”
Logan threw and arm across to tug at Finn's hair. “I needed you to know.”
“Mm,” Finn hummed into Leo's neck. He reached for the book Leo discarded. “Want me to read to you? Let’s see how many books we get through in forever.”
Leo leaned down to kiss him. “Yes, please.” He scooted further down the pillows and closed his eyes. “Your voice puts me to sleep. Like a lullaby.”
Finn grinned at Logan and winked before turning to gaze at Leo's relaxed face. “Oh yeah? Well, get ready, baby, because this lullaby is forever.”
Leo sighed contentedly and wiggled closer to both of them. Logan closed his eyes, too, tucked against Leo's chest. Finn's voice reverberated around his childhood bedroom, the place where Logan dreamed of having him forever, the place that he got to bring Leo to for the first time knowing he was forever. That they both were. The sheets were warm around his torso, Leo's chest heating up as he drifted off. Logan sighed and sank against Leo's skin, against the hand Finn had resting on his hip. He couldn't wait to wake up. There'd be a Cup parade, his family with him, the hot summer sun and the French conversation surrounding him on the main street. But for now, Logan was sleepy and sated, the most important things in his life were in his bed, and he was safe and sound and so, so in love. Logan took a deep breath and basked in his forever.

Logan and Finn
“What is this?”
Logan smiled at Finn's confusion. “A surprise, rouge.”
“I'm so confused,” Finn said. His brow was furrowed as he took in the store front. “What are we doing here?”
Logan tugged him by the hand through the door of the studio. “We're painting.”
“Huh?”
Logan rolled his eyes and kissed Finn's cheek. “Allez.” He smiled at the curly haired receptionist. Her smock was covered in paint, and there was even some in her bandana. “Hi. I booked a couple hours.”
She smiled back and opened a book in front of her. “Last name?”
“Tremblay.”
“Ah, gotcha,” she said, then penciled something in. She waved them along with a bright grin. “This way.”
They passed by display cases of completed work, and a couple of classrooms where there were sculpting lessons. Finn's hand was warm on Logan's lower back as they eventually made their way to a large room. There were other couples and groups there, immersed in their work. The girl spun on her heel and gestured to a shelf.
“Blank pieces are here for you to choose from, and I set the glazes by your station. There are smocks, too. When you're done, find one of us, and we will put them in the kiln for you to pick up next week.” She led them to a table laden with small plastic pots of glazes and paints. “Make sure you don't go too thick or too thin. We'll be around if you have any questions.” She rapped her hands on the table then took a step back. “Have fun!”
“Merci,” Logan said softly. He turned to look at Finn. “So?”
Finn just grinned and kissed him hard. “You're such a sweetheart.” He looked to the shelves with the various blank clay pieces. “What do you think? Bowl? Plate?”
Logan hummed and scanned them with his eyes, Finn doing the same beside him. They both reached for a different item, and turned to look at each other at the same time. Finn had a large plate with a raised bowl in the middle.
“For Leo,” he said, blushing a little. “He's been making a lot of dips this summer. He'd like this, I think.”
Logan felt his heart skip a beat. “Yeah. He will.”
“What'd you choose?”
Logan held up the mug with a smile. It had a perfect thumb hold, and was tall enough to hold a lot of tea. Engraved on the side was a raised sun design. Finn clocked it immediately and bit around a grin. His eyes were warm when they looked into Logan's own.
“We're hopeless, huh?” he sighed. “Leo leaves for one fishing weekend with Reg and we are barely surviving without him.”
“Ouais,” Logan said. He brushed one hand up and down Finn's waist. “But that means we get to greet him when he walks through the door.”
Finn's expression turned excited. “Yeah. Yeah, you're right. I can't wait.” He jerked his head towards the table. “Let's get to work, ten.”
They attempted to make them a matching set- kind of. Logan had thought it was a weird suggestion when Finn brought it up, but he was sure Leo would appreciate it anyhow. His piece was admittedly neater than Finn's. The sun was perfectly yellow, with a gradient blue sky starting from its outline and working outwards around the mug. Finn had attempted the same, starting in the middle with the dip bowl and working towards the edges of the plate, but he'd been a bit heavy handed with the glaze and now the colors were starting to blur together.
He let out a frustrated groan. “I am absolutely butchering this.”
Logan laughed and leaned into his shoulder. Their ankles were crossed underneath the table. “Non, it'll look fine. Leo will love it anyway.”
“I know he will,” Finn said. “He will because he's Leo and he appreciates the littlest things, even if they are ugly.” He huffed. “But I want this to be perfect. He deserves perfection.”
“Ouais, he does,” Logan said softly. He considered Finn's work. “Maybe- maybe you try mixing them. Like tie-dye, or- what's the word? When you randomly mix a bunch of paint together?”
“Splatter paint?”
“Ouais, splatter paint.” He gestured to his own mug. “That way they'll be matching, but not exactly the same.” He pointed to the outside rim of the bowl. “You could put green there, oui? To make it transition?”
Finn laughed. “Since when did you become an expert in pottery?”
Logan blushed. “Non. It's just ‘cause it's Leo.”
Finn looked wistful. “Yeah.” He sighed and tilted his temple against Logan's. “I miss him.”
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. “Me too. But Reg is leaving for school soon. He won't see him for a while.”
“But you’re leaving soon. For New York.”
Finn's dejected voice tugged at Logan's heartstrings. “Ouais. Ouais, I know.” He kissed Finn's temple. “But we are people outside of us being together, too, rouge. And Reg means a lot to Leo.”
Finn sighed again. “I know. I know, I'm being silly. I just really miss him.” He turned to push his nose into Logan's neck. “I like doing stuff with friends during the day. But I like when we're all in bed together at night.” He pulled back to cup Logan's jaw and kiss him softly. “Don't like going to sleep without you two.”
Logan breathed out heavily. “Je sais. I know, it's hard.” He turned back to his mug. “Let's make these for Leo and surprise him with them next week. Then I'll take you out for dinner, then to bed, ouais?”
Finn smiled. “You bet you can take me to bed.”
Logan rolled his eyes but hooked his ankle more firmly around Finn's. “Allez. Soleil deserves perfection, so let's paint.”

Leo and Logan
“Mm, smells good, soleil.”
Leo smiled at Logan from where he was finishing up their cutlets. “Thanks honey. How was practice? Feel good about tomorrow?”
“Ouais,” Logan said, slipping off his shoes. He took Leo in, then noticed the dining room table, near his balcony doors, set with candles and a bottle of sparkling cider. He smiled. “You did this for me?”
Leo nodded, then turned back to the stove. “I thought we could have a date night while Fish is out for dinner with Alex. And you've been tired with the playoffs, so I figured staying in might be the best option.” When he didn't get a response, he looked up at Logan, brow furrowed. “Is that okay?”
But Logan was already walking towards him, smile bright and loving. “Oui. C'est bien.” He fell against Leo's chest to kiss him. “Je t'aime, soleil. Merci.”
Leo kissed him again. “Love you. Now go get changed, sweetheart. Dinner will be ready soon.”
Logan squeezed against his waist once more before going to their bedroom. Leo hummed along to the music playing through the speakers, his soft, old country playlist reverberating around the room. He had just finished placing the pans on the table when Logan appeared from their bedroom, making Leo stop in his tracks.
“You look… Lo, you look gorgeous.”
Logan smiled sheepishly. “So do you.”
Leo looked down at himself, in his navy jeans and dark salmon waffle shirt, then at Logan in his black pants and plum button down and was lost for words. Logan’s hair was curlier, too, now that it was longer, and framed his face in a middle part. His eyes were jewel-like as they roved over the table setting, and Leo was so, so in love with him. He said as much.
“I'm so, so in love with you.” He walked forward to cup Logan's face. “God, Lo. You’re just… you’re so gorgeous. You're so gorgeous.”
Logan scrunched his nose around his Finn impression. “Look who's talking.”
Leo laughed, but rubbed his thumbs over Logan's sharp cheekbones, holding his gentle gaze. “I know, I know, but you… Logan, sometimes Finn and I don't know what to do, you're so gorgeous. You're so beautiful, sweetheart, all the time.” He leaned down to kiss Logan softly. “But especially in person.”
That seemed to rile Logan up, and he sighed heavily through his nose and kissed Leo deeper. He was gripping Leo's shirt in his hands, pulling Leo down to where he was, and it made Leo dizzy.
“Honey,” Leo gasped out between kisses. “Honey, the food's getting cold.”
“Mm,” Logan groaned. “One more.”
Leo complied, smiling against Logan's mouth before drawing them apart. Logan's face fit perfectly in between his palms and he kissed his forehead before nodding towards the table. “Let's eat, sweetheart.”
Logan laughed as Leo pulled out his chair. “I really like the sparkling cider.”
Leo blushed. “Well, no alcohol because of the playoffs. I just wanted it to still be special.”
Logan took his hand and kissed it. “I love it, soleil. I love you.”
Leo smiled and placed a cutlet on Logan's plate, topped with arugula and tomatoes marinated in their own juices with garlic and basil, a lemon on the side to squirt the juice over the dish. “Love you, sweetheart. Eat, before it gets cold.”
Logan complied, tangling his ankles with Leo's when he sat across from him. His New York apartment would never be home, not like in Gryffindor, but Leo did like having a dining room table to sit at instead of just sitting at the bar stools by the counter. He especially loved to watch Logan enjoy the table, laden with perfectly assembled food and place settings, like at a fancy restaurant. He looked happy, content, and more relaxed than Leo had seen him in a long time.
Their chatter was gentle, as it so often tended to be. Finn was the main conversationalist, and Logan never felt like he had to say anything, but also never felt like he couldn't. Leo usually made himself to be whatever the other person needed him to be in the moment. He sat with Logan in silence or quiet conversation, or made him laugh loudly with his sharp wit. He could read Logan like an open book, and Logan had once said to him that he wondered what he ever felt like he had to hide anyway.
“Merci, Le,” he said after they’d finished. He was playing with Leo’s fingers. “That was delicious, mon coeur.”
“I’m glad you liked it,” Leo replied, standing to clear their plates.
“Non, non,” Logan protested, batting his hands away. “Let me clean, mon chou, you cooked.”
Leo raised his eyebrows teasingly. “Am I going to have to rewash dishes?”
Logan rolled his eyes and stacked their plates. “Fish only has to do that sometimes. I’ve gotten better since living on my own.”
Leo’s smile was a bit joking, and a bit sad. “Well, whatever it takes, I guess.” He kissed Logan briefly. “I’ll dry, then.”
They worked quietly side by side, and Logan triple checked to make sure each plate was clean. He was focused, his tongue poking out in the way that made Finn and Leo laugh. Leo smiled and kissed the side of his head.
“I've got some dessert,” Leo said, breaking their silence. “If you want something sweet.”
“According to Fish, I am something sweet.”
Leo bumped him with his hip. “And he's right.” Leo sorted the utensils into their drawer. “And then I was thinking we'd have to just go to sleep, even before Finn gets home. Want you rested for the game tomorrow.”
Logan sighed. “I'm sorry.”
Leo shook his head hard. “No, no, Lo, don't be sorry. We're so proud of you.” He kissed Logan’s forehead. “We'll finish this, eat, then bed. Okay?”
Logan was placing the last pan on the drying rack when Leo moved to the fridge. He furrowed his brow quizzically, then made an ah! sound when he found what he’d been looking for.
“Not necessarily on the diet plan, but I figured an exception could be made for date night,” he said, holding up a plate with a large piece of cake. “The New York Blackout Cake from that place Finn brought us to.”
Logan bit his lip and looked Leo up and down. Leo looked him up and down, too, everything from his soft curls falling over his face to the eager way he was looking at Leo holding the cake. Leo watched as a conflicted feeling made its way across Logan’s expression. Logan watched Leo's face as Leo caught on, too.
Leo set the plate down on the counter. “What's wrong, sweetheart?”
“I just…” Logan sighed, closing his eyes and hanging his head back. He didn’t quite know how to find the English words, sometimes. “I just want to rest with you.”
Leo moved into his space and cupped his hips gently. Logan reached up to play with his hair, looking into Leo’s eyes as he tried to understand. “What do you mean, Lo?” He ducked down. “Dites-moi.”
Logan sighed, then continued in French. “I want to go to bed with you and not have to get up and do anything. I want to- I want to go to bed early to stay up late with you, not because I have to sleep enough for a game. And I-” He took a deep breath and pulled Leo close, brushing their noses together. “I want you, Le. It’s been so long, and I want you, but we have to be careful because of the playoffs, and I-” He made a low groan in the back of his throat. His breath was hot against Leo’s cheek. “I just want to rest with you. To be with you.” He kissed Leo hard. “I missed you, mon soleil.”
Leo shuddered, breathing quick and shaky. “I’m sorry, Lo. I’m sorry I said anything about- about going to sleep early, I-”
“Sh, sh,” Logan hushed. He tucked himself under Leo’s chin. “It’s because you care. I love that about you.” He looked up at him. “Let’s eat our cake, oui? Then we go to bed.” Logan sighed and pushed himself further into Leo’s chest. “I want some rest more than none at all.”
“Soon, sweetheart,” Leo said, pulling back to rub up and down Logan’s arms. He jerked his head to the table. “C’mere, you can sit on my lap and I can feed you.”
Logan laughed and took the hand Leo offered, his other holding the cake. Leo did insist on feeding him, taking a bite for himself every now and then. Mostly, he just smiled at Logan, laughing softly as Logan told him about Percy putting shaving cream in Saint and Alex’s gloves, which had them chasing him around the arena with bottles of their own cream provided by Will. Apparently, he was invested in putting a stop to Percy’s practical pranking streak- Percy spent way too much time buying shaving cream, he said.
With every laugh, Leo wrapped Logan up tighter with his free arm until there was no space between them. After Leo took the final bite of cake, Logan kissed him just to taste it off his tongue. Leo obliged for a minute, then insisted that they get ready for bed.
“I want you to be comfy, sweetheart,” Leo said softly. “Then we can spend some more time together, but I want you ready for bed so you can just fall asleep when you need to.”
Logan told him didn’t know how he’d gotten so lucky.
Later, after brushing their teeth and Leo forcing him through a skincare routine, Logan sat straddled in Leo’s lap, kissing him languidly with his arms thrown across Leo’s shoulders, Leo’s hands running up and down his back. It felt good, to kiss just to kiss when they hadn’t had the time to in so long. Logan’s body was warm against his own, skin against skin now that they were just in their boxers. Logan let his head fall back with a slightly wanton sound as Leo moved down to kiss at his neck, scraping his teeth against the hinge of Logan’s jaw like he liked. Leo couldn’t help the pool of arousal working its way up his spine.
“Fuck,” he gasped suddenly, pulling back. His cheeks were flushed and his hair was a mess from Logan’s hands. “Fuck, we have to stop. We have to stop, we have to go to bed.” He blinked hard. “You need to sleep, oh God.”
Logan kissed him softly. “I want you.”
Leo sucked in a breath. “Logan, you can’t say that, not when we can’t-”
“Ouais, we can,” Logan whispered. He settled himself more firmly in the cradle of Leo’s hips. “We can go slow. I’ll be okay, mon coeur, I’m asking you to.” He sighed. “I missed you, Le.”
Leo bit the inside of his cheek, thinking. It didn’t take him long to decide, but he hoped his eyes conveyed he was still a bit worried. “Okay. Okay, but we have to go so slow-”
“Ouais,” Logan interrupted, suddenly urgent. “Ouais, yes, yes.” He bent to suck at Leo’s neck. “Leo.”
“I love you,” Leo gasped. “I love you so much.”
Then, in the dim light of their bedside lamp, Leo let Logan’s everything fill him up and held tightly to his body as he kissed Leo gently back against the pillows.

Finn and Leo
“How’s this, Le?”
Leo nodded, smiling at the way Finn patted the cushioned chair beside his own at the high top table. Finn smiled back, enjoying the way Leo looked golden under the dim cafe lights. He had seen the local band advertised a few days ago, coincidentally playing in his favorite cafe, and had immediately texted Leo demanding a date night.
Besides, he didn't want to be in their apartment any longer than he had to. Not when the winter nights left him cold on one side because Logan wasn't there to warm him up.
They had just played their last game before the All Star break, a matinee, and he could feel that excitement that preceded a vacation, even a stay at home one. He could tell that Leo did, too, with the way he'd been laughing freely that afternoon as he had cooked them an early dinner, the way he’d kissed Finn happily after Finn had held the door open for him to get out of the car. He looked sweet tonight, in his white wool sweater and jeans, golden chain peeking out when it caught the light. Finn took his hand and kissed it. “What do you want, sunshine? I’ll go to the bar and order.”
Leo smiled brightly. “You know what I want.” He leaned across the table and nudged their noses. “And a couple of those blueberry scones, if they still have them, please.”
“You got it,” Finn said, then kissed him briefly and walked to the bar.
The bartender smiled at him when he approached. “Finn,” he said. “The usual?”
“You know it, Marius,” Finn replied with a grin. “And a Dark ‘n Stormy for Le. Oh, and two of those blueberry scones, if they're still around, please?”
Marius nodded, already grabbing a shaker. “We always have them for our favorite food critic. Usual table?”
“Yep, thank you.” Finn slapped some bills on the bar. “Keep the change.”
“This is why you’re my favorite, O’Hara!” Marius called as Finn walked away.
Finn spun and gave him a thumbs up before turning back to walk towards their high top. Leo smiled and reached out his arms, Finn swaying into the cradle of his legs and rubbing his hands up and down Leo’s thighs. “Howdy, nutter butter.”
“Hi,” Leo said softly. “Usual?”
“Always, baby.” Finn kissed his cheek. “Got a couple scones for you. You’re their favorite food critic.”
Leo blushed happily. “That’s sweet.”
“Here we are,” a voice said behind them. A young woman about Leo’s age with long, dark hair placed a tray on their table. “One Manhattan, one Dark ‘n Stormy, and two blueberry scones for you.”
“Thanks, Isha,” Leo said, rubbing a thumb on Finn’s hip. “How’re classes?”
Isha scoffed. “Way harder than whatever hockey you're playing.”
Finn laughed. “I’ll drink to that. Hey, if you do well in fashion school, we’ll commission your first pieces, how does that sound?”
Isha rolled her eyes, but smiled. “Fine. But I hope you like colorful suits, because I make nothing short of fabulous.”
“Amen,” Leo said, reaching to take a sip of his drink. “I’m tired of black and navy.”
She knocked on their table. “I’ll leave you to it, guys. Enjoy!”
They waved her off, then Finn pulled away to sit on his own stool. “I’m kind of excited for the band. Haven’t seen them before.”
Leo hummed and picked up a scone. “Reg went out with Sirius and Remus to see them at the park the other week. Said they’re pretty acoustic.” He took a bite. “Fuck, these are good. Want some?”
Finn smiled and hooked their ankles together. “Nah, baby. I’m fine just sitting here looking at you.”
Leo rolled his eyes. His cheeks were red. “You’re so funny about that.”
“Uh, there’s nothing funny about it. I’ll sit and stare at you and Lo for hours. We’ll test it sometime.”
“You sure you can sit still for that long?” Leo’s eyes were playful.
Finn leaned in. “Sure, if there’s a reward.”
Leo laughed. “If that’s the case, I’m not sure Logan will sit still that long, either.” He straightened. “Hey, look, they’re starting.”
The band was small. A vocalist, guitarist, bassist. A keyboard player. The percussionist had a kit, but also a lot of small instruments Finn didn’t know the name of. They introduced themselves briefly, the vocalist swinging their long hair over their shoulder, then the drummer counted them off. They were a bit folk, almost country.
“Your taste in music, huh, Le?”
“Yeah.” Leo nodded, watching intently. He turned to look at Finn with a smile and reached out his hand. “Thanks for taking me.”
Finn tugged him. “C’mere.”
He led Leo over to stand back to chest with him. Sat on the high stool, Finn was the perfect height to rest his chin on Leo’s shoulder and watch. The skin of Leo’s neck was warm against his cheek, and he wrapped his arms tightly around Leo’s waist. Leo sighed and relaxed back into him, covering Finn’s hands with his own.
“I’m ready for a vacation,” Leo said softly. “Feels like that last roadie went on for ages.”
“Hm,” Finn agreed. He kissed Leo’s skin. “Can’t wait to have you to myself for a few days.”
He could feel Leo smile. “All for you? What if Logan wants me?”
“You’re both all for me,” Finn countered. He buried his nose into Leo’s soft sweater. “All mine.”
Leo leaned back to look at him. “All yours.” He twisted slightly, bringing one hand up to cup Finn’s jaw. “What’s wrong?”
Finn bent to tuck his nose behind Leo’s neck, out of view from the rest of the people. “Miss him.”
“I know,” Leo said, scratching his scalp. “But he’ll be driving home tomorrow after his game. Early, too, it’s at one ‘o clock.”
“I know,” Finn sighed. “And I can’t wait to have a week with both of you, but- it’s just a week.”
This part of the season was always the most difficult. Time spent with Logan was finite and few and far between. They missed him constantly, like a bruise, and trying to fit everything in was impossible. They’d gotten better at not doing that after it made Leo have an anxiety-fused meltdown trying to make all of Logan’s favorite foods during the last All Star break. Now, they mostly enjoyed being in each other’s presence wherever they were: going out to dinner, going for a walk, helping Leo in the kitchen, even cleaning their apartment. But it still didn’t make them hold Logan any less tight when they bid him goodbye.
Leo saw right through him. He kissed the side of Finn’s head. “Look at me, sweetheart.”
Finn lifted his head. Leo’s eyes were soft, his hand gentle as he cupped Finn’s cheek. Finn kissed his engagement ring. “I love you.”
Leo smiled and nudged their noses together. “I love you.” He kissed Finn lightly. “How about this? Tomorrow, we get up and go for a run, then stop by the bakery on the way back and the indoor farmer’s market at the church. I’ll make some nice BLTs and potato wedges for lunch while we watch Logan play, then we sit and cuddle and read until he gets home.”
Finn smiled. “Yeah, okay.” He pressed their temples together. “And tonight?”
Leo’s grin was sly. “We’ll finish here, then you’ll take me to bed. Then tomorrow you take us both to bed.”
Finn laughed softly. “I love that.” He kissed Leo again. “Thank you.”
Leo nodded, then turned back towards the band. “You’re forever for us, sweetheart. After all this hockey is done, we’ll still want you.”
Finn nodded and pressed his lips to Leo’s neck. “Yeah. Yeah, I like forever.”
Leo snorted. “You love forever.” He wiggled further into Finn’s arms. “Now hold me close, O’Hara, the band’s not done.”
Finn squeezed him tighter, settling into Leo’s body as the band wrapped up another song. There was light applause, then the lead singer was smiling at them from the small, raised stage.
“This next one’s a cover,” they said. “An oldie, but a goodie. It’s, in my opinion, one of the most romantic songs to have ever been written, and we love playing it for folks.”
The percussionist picked up a couple shaker eggs, and the keyboardist and bassist a couple violins. Finn raised his eyebrows, intrigued.
“Alright, here we go.”
When the first notes played, Finn gasped out a laugh.
Leo patted his thigh. “What?”
“Nothing,” Finn said with a smile, voice a little tight. Leo turned to look at him fully, eyebrows furrowed. Finn shook his head. “Nothing, it’s just- Lo and I were reading together, this summer, when you were calling your parents to tell them we were engaged.” He bit his lip at the memory. “We were listening to the John Denver vinyl, and this song came on. Lo said it always reminded him of you.”
Leo smiled. “Yeah? Annie’s Song?”
Finn nodded. “Yeah. He said this one, and the other one. About the sun.”
“Sunshine On My Shoulders.”
“Yes, that one.” Finn took a shaky breath. “And he said he wants to dance to them with you at our wedding.”
Leo’s smile was so wide both dimples appeared. “He does?”
Finn used a finger to turn Leo to face him more directly. His eyes were watering. “Mm hm.”
“And what’d you say?”
Finn kissed him. “I said that if he gets two first dances with you, then I get two with each of you, too. Then we get two to dance all together.”
Leo laughed. “People are going to get sick of watching us.”
“I don’t care,” Finn said. “They don’t even have to be there.”
“My mama would be so mad.”
“Well, she can come and watch if she wants, but when you two are dancing, I won’t be a good conversationalist.” He nosed at Leo’s neck. “I’ll be too busy watching my husbands.”
Leo sucked in a breath. “Your husbands.”
“My husbands.”
“All yours.”
“All mine.”
Leo gripped his hair to draw him into a deep kiss, too needy for a public setting. When he pulled back, his face was flushed and his voice a little high. “Take me home. Please, Finn.”
Finn sighed happily. The sound of the violins carried over the crowd. “After this song,” he whispered. He settled back against the chair and closed his eyes with a smile, tucking Leo’s face into his neck, hand in his curls. “I’m imagining my husbands dancing.”

The Cubs
“You want to take them where?”
“To the spa, Layla,” Leo said. “The one Lily gave you vouchers for for your birthday. The really good new one, owned by the lesbian couple?”
“Oh, that place is fantastic.”
Leo and Layla looked over to Thomas, who was contentedly sitting in his ice bath.
Layla looked amused. “You been, Talky?”
“Have I? Fuck, Kasey, James, and I got our relaxation on with the girls one day. Best day of my life.” He snorted. “And I know Kasey went back with Alex and Natalie. Apparently Alex fell asleep in the massage chair.”
That made Leo and Layla laugh. She turned back to massage out his tight quad. “I can give you the phone number, Nut. You going during Christmas?”
Lep nodded. “Yeah, I said I wanted to take them out on a date when Logan’s home for a couple days. Figured this would be relaxing.” He shrugged. “Plus, I figured it’d be a bit… safer for us, you know? They’ve got a three or more persons relationship package.”
She raised her eyebrows. “You think Finn can sit still that long?”
“If he’s in a comfy chair, sure. He loves a good chair.”
Thomas snorted. “I swear, he’s an old man. When he reads he slides his glasses down his nose.”
Leo smiled. “I know. He’ll be such a sexy old man.”
“And that’s enough for today, I think,” Layla said, looking at him pointedly. “Up you get, go shower. I’ll text you the number.”
“Thank you, ma’am,” Leo said brightly. “I’ll bake you a pie as a thank you.”
“Pecan, please!” she called out after him.
“You got it!”
***
Logan looked confusedly at the building in front of them. “You are taking us…”
“...to a spa?” Finn finished. “What for?”
Leo smiled. “You’ll see.”
“This better be worth leaving our bed,” Logan grumbled.
Leo took his hand and kissed his cheek. “Promise, honey. It’s to get you to relax.”
Logan cocked an eyebrow. “You already know how to get me relaxed.”
“Tremblay,” Finn scolded gently. “Public indecency is not how I want to go to jail!”
Leo left them to their quiet bickering and approached the desk attendant. She had brown hair that faded into purple waves at the ends and a pronoun pin that said Izzy she/her on it. “Hi, ma’am. Reservation for three people at 2 o’clock for Leo Knut?”
She smiled back. “Hi there, Leo. You can follow me!”
They were led back to a changing room, where they were instructed to dress themselves in the robes folded on the benches. The room smelled like eucalyptus.
Finn looked around at the space. “Wowzers. This place is nice.” He looked up at the wall, where there were various Pride flags hung up, as there were all over the building. “Cute.”
“How’d you find it, Le?” Logan asked.
Leo reached down to play with his fingers, poking out of the robe sleeves. It was a little big on him. “Layla. She gave me the number. We got a package.”
Finn raised his eyebrows. “Like a couple’s package?”
Leo nodded. “Yeah, but they do relationship packages for more than two people.” He blushed a little, biting his cheek. “I know we want to spend as much time together as possible, but I thought it’d be relaxing. We don’t always get to do this stuff, you know? At least not like other people.” He shrugged, ducking down a little. “I thought it’d be romantic.”
Logan smiled brightly at him, looping his arms around Leo’s waist and falling onto his chest with a sigh. “It is romantic, soleil.” He stood on his toes to kiss Leo gently. “You’re just so…”
“Sweet?” Finn supplied.
“Oui. The sweetest.” He bit Leo’s jaw. “Like candy.”
Finn made an eager little sound and pressed a burst of kisses to Leo’s cheek. “Does that mean we get to eat you, sunshine? Because I’m so game for that.”
Leo shook his head, but was grinning. “Later. First it’s massage time.”
Three people knocked on the door and led them to three massage tables, lined up side by side. Leo’s masseuse, Leanna, instructed him to take his robe off and lay down with a towel around his hips. He did as told, and sighed deeply when she began rubbing lotion on him and working on his upper back.
“Jesus Christ,” a voice came. It was Logan’s masseuse, Iris. “I’m going to break my hands, you’ve got so many knots. What is it you said you did again?”
“Professional hockey players,” Finn replied. He sounded halfway asleep. “He also frequently gets into fights.”
“Fish.”
Iris sighed. “That’ll do it.” Leo laughed as he heard their knuckles crack. “Let’s get to work then, Logan. I’m going to have you so unwound, it’ll be like magic.”
***
About an hour later, when they were declared done, Logan and Leo sat up, Logan rolling his shoulders and neck. Their masseuses turned away politely to let them put their robes back on, then Logan let out a satisfied groan. He looked at Iris with wide eyes. “Merde. You really did work magic.”
Iris smiled. “You gave me a run for my money. My elbow could only dig so far into those big muscles of yours.”
A knock on the door interrupted their laughter, and Izzy poked her head in. “We all good here? The next room is ready for you.”
“Hi, baby,” Iris said. “We’re all done.” They jerked their head at Logan. “This one had knots the size of a baseball.”
Izzy winced. “Yikes. Leanna, Felicity, any trouble?”
Felicity shook her head. “No.” She looked to Finn. “But I think he’s asleep.”
Indeed, Finn had fallen asleep. His breathing was even, and there were soft snores coming from where his face was poking through the head rest.
They all laughed softly, and Logan hopped off his bed to crouch beside Finn. “Rouge,” he whispered. “Rouge, wake up. Gotta get dressed.” When Finn still didn’t stir he kissed his back. “Finn.”
Finn jerked awake at his name, almost letting the towel slide down. Leo acted quickly and held it for him. “No nudity here, O’Hara.”
The masseuses laughed, and Finn pushed up onto his elbows in surprise. He blinked hard. “Oh man.” He tilted his head up to look at Logan, who gazed at him adoringly. “I took a nap.”
“That you did,” Felicity said with a grin. She clapped her hands. “Robe on, let’s go. You get face masks next.”
***
“You boys want anything to drink?” Isaiah, one of their estheticians, said. He was mixing Leo’s face mask. The other esthetician, Marcy, was washing up from doing Finn’s. “We got iced tea, fruity iced tea, lemonade, green juice.”
Leo looked to Logan, who was relaxed against his chair, a ridiculous blue mask on his face and cucumbers on his eyes. Finn’s brown eyes were peeking out from his white mask, his own cucumber slices in his hand as he considered.
“You have sweet tea?” Leo asked.
Isaiah smiled and nodded “I thought I detected a southern accent. Where are you from?”
“New Orleans, sir.”
“Savannah.”
Leo laughed. “I’m in good company, then.”
Isaiah winked and turned to Finn. “Anything for you?”
Finn nodded. “Unsweetened iced tea with lemon for me, thanks.” He jerked his head at Logan. “He’ll take the sweetest drink you got in your largest glass, please.”
“Ouais, s'il vous plaît,” Logan sighed happily.
Marcy laughed. “I’ll go grab them for you. You finish with Leo, Isaiah, I’ll be right back.”
She slipped out the door, then Isaiah turned to Leo. “Alright, let’s get to work.” He peered at Leo’s face. “I can’t believe how good your skin already is.”
Leo blushed. He thought about his acne scars on his cheek and jaw. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Isaiah said. “You moisturize really well, which is the most important thing.” He brushed his fingers on Leo’s jaw. “I know you’ve got blemishes here, but considering you spend your days with a mask over your sweaty face, your skin is fantastic. Your scars don’t seem irritated- they should heal, and your pores are still pretty clear.” He raised his eyebrows at Logan. “Unlike Mr. Blackheads over there.”
That made Leo laugh. “I’m working on it. They were both frat boys; skin care isn’t their forte.”
Isaiah looked amused. “Frat boys? Didn’t know they came in the polyamorous variety.”
Leo shrugged. “Me neither.” He roved his eyes over Finn and Logan’s bodies. “Got lucky I guess.”
Isaiah smiled. “Alright, loverboy. Close your eyes.”
The mask was cool against his face as Isaiah applied it in smooth strokes with his plastic spatula. It relaxed him against the seat, along with the cool air and the soft music of the room. If he listened close enough, he could hear Logan and Finn breathing beside him.
A knock sounded at the door, then Marcy walked in carrying a tray. “Order up.”
Leo watched amusedly as Logan straightened and held out his hand when Marcy instructed him to. His drink was indeed in a tall glass and looked like a sunset, yellow liquid fading into orange, then pink. There were bits of fruit floating in it. He took a sip, nodding approvingly. “Ouais,” he sighed. He then relaxed back into the chair, cucumber eyes and all, straw resting in his mouth. “Ouais. Merci.”
They all laughed, Finn and Leo saying a polite thanks when they were given their tea. Leo took a sip, letting the thick, sugary taste settle over his tongue before leaning back to let Isaiah place cucumbers over his eyes.
“Twenty for the mask and the cukes, okay? We’ll leave you for a bit.”
“Thank you,” Leo said, then the click of the door left them just with each other.
They laid in silence for a while, each basking in the relaxation. Every now and then Logan would let out a happy little sound as he sipped his tea. After a few minutes, Leo felt Finn’s long, dexterous fingers take his own.
“Thanks for taking us, Le, baby,” he said softly with a squeeze to Leo’s hand. “You’re so sweet.”
Leo squeezed back. “Thanks for going along with it.” He fiddled with Finn’s fingers some more. “I didn’t know if you’d like it or not.”
“Non,” Logan sighed. “I love it.”
Finn scoffed. “Of course you would, you absolutely pampered baby. You get massages at home, too!”
Leo could imagine Logan’s smirk. “Ouais. I bat my eyelashes and you give me anything I want.”
Finn scoffed again, but didn’t protest.
Leo tugged at him gently. “I love you, sweethearts.”
“Je t’aime.”
“Love you, lovers.” There was the thud of Finn’s head falling against his seat. “You know, this skincare thing isn’t so bad. Might have to do face mask date nights at home.”
That got a laugh out of Leo. “Whatever you want, honey.”
They were interrupted by another knock on the door and it creaking open. “We all set here, boys?”
“Come in!” Leo called.
Two pairs of footsteps sounded, then some running water. There was a deep sigh from Isaiah. “Alright, Mr. Blackheads. Let’s see how we did.”
Leo took the cucumbers off his eyes to watch Marcy and Isaiah wash off his boys’ masks and apply some moisturizer, Isaiah with a pointed look at Logan and some containers.
“A sample of the mask and the cream,” he said. “My parting gift to you.”
Logan smiled sheepishly. “Merci.”
Finally, Marcy washed off Leo’s own mask and applied some moisturizer, peering at his skin. “You want a sample of the mask, too? I think it’ll help the scarring reduce quicker, especially since you’ve already taken such good care of your skin.”
Leo nodded and accepted the small container with a blush. “Thank you.”
Finn leaned over and kissed his cheek. “Pretty baby.” He flopped dramatically against his chair. “I don’t wanna leave.” He pouted. “Can we come back?”
Marcy laughed. “We’ll happily let you blow your NHL salary on us.” She walked towards the door. “You can change into your clothes and then pay at reception on the way out!”
They thanked them both, then went to the changing room to put their clothes on. Finn took one look at them and whistled lowly. “You two are glowing. Got my own shiny Greek god statues.”
Leo looked down at himself. He supposed the massage lotion had made him pretty shiny. When he caught Finn's eye again, he was staring. “Harz,” Leo laughed.
“Mm?” Finn was not really paying attention.
“Eyes up here, sweetheart.”
“But I don't want to look at your eyes.”
Logan laughed, shucking off his robe completely. “Rouge. Time to change.”
When Finn turned to Logan, he raised his eyebrows higher. He focused in on Logan's pecs. “Would you be open to public indecency?”
Leo scoffed. “No way. I'm not sweating or washing all this moisturizer off. Gotta let it sit on the skin for a bit.”
Finn groaned, reaching for his shirt. “But how long?”
“Probably a good few hours, honey.”
That did not seem to help the situation. “No,” Finn whined. “I did not sign up for this. Peanut.”
Leo laughed as he pulled his jeans up, leaning to press a lingering kiss to the side of Finn's head. “You'll be okay, sweetheart. Just until, like, ten o'clock tonight, okay?”
Finn bonked his head against Leo's shoulder. “I'm setting an alarm,” he grunted “You can't get out of Christmas break sex.”
“Wouldn't dream of it, mon coeur “ Logan said with a brief kiss to Finn's cheek. “D'accord, let's go. Want to go to the Sunstone for dinner?”
“Hey, this is my date I'm taking you on,” Leo pouted.
Logan looked over his shoulder with a smirk as he opened the door. “I didn't say I would be paying. Allez.”
They walked out to the reception desk, Leo pulling out his credit card. Izzy smiled at him and she pulled his charge up on the computer. “Did you have fun?”
Leo nodded. “Absolutely. Y'all might have tricked them into skincare.”
She laughed. “Yeah, that tends to be a theme with most men.” She took his card and swiped it, handing it back with a flourish. “You're all set!”
“Thank you,” Leo said, placing some bills on the counter. “Seriously, it was really good. I'll leave these for you guys.”
Izzy smiled. “You're a real gentleman, Mr. Knut.”
He smiled back. “It's my southern disposition. Now,” he sighed, turning back to Logan and Finn, who were thumb wrestling. “I think my two knuckleheads are hungry.”
“Have a good night, boys!”
“Thank you!” Logan and Finn called back, jostling each other on the way to the car, attempting to continue thumb wrestling while they walked. A particularly hard movement from Logan sent Finn slipping on the ice.
“Woah!”
Leo caught him around the waist and hauled him to the passenger side. “Jesus, you two are walking hazards wherever you go.”
“Hey, that's not me. That's my loser brother.”
Leo just kissed him briefly. “In the car, please. I'm hungry for steak.”
“Ouais,” Logan said, opening the back door on Finn's side. He took Leo's hand. “Merci, soleil. I had a lot of fun.”
Logan's smile was so lovely that Leo had to kiss him, too. “I really love you.” He looked between them. “I love to date you, too.”
Finn's gaze was soft. “Good,” he whispered. “I think I want to date you a long time.”
Leo bit his lip around his own smile. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.” Finn looked to Logan. “How's that sound, Lo, baby?”
Logan fell against Leo's chest, arms around his waist. “C'est bien.” He sighed, nuzzling into Leo's jacket. “C'est bien.”
Leo kissed his head. “Let's go, sweethearts.” He walked around the car to climb in the driver's side. “Dinner awaits us.”
“Make sure you eat up,” Finn said. Leo saw his smirk out of the corner of his eye as he backed the car up. “You'll need lots of energy starting at ten o'clock. Perfect end to a date, in my opinion. Perfect end to a day.”
Leo caught Logan's eye in the rearview mirror. Logan was looking back, eyes soft and lovingly exasperated in the way Finn could only make him.
“Yeah,” Leo said, smiling. “Perfect end to a day.”
