I like to imagine that theres a Hero Parade that takes place thats supposed to honor heroes and a lot of folk will go dressed up as different heroes. Knowing this, Hawks goes as himself and just watches in the crowd and everyone compliments his 'cosplay of Hawks' and he slightly changes his tone of voice and plays along just to escape a day of being crowded by fans.

No. Stop. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.

Hawks had agency in this decision. The HPSC were banking on Jin dying immediately for their plans with the Re-Destro clone. Hawks fucked that up by offering Jin an out - if he was willing to fuck up the commission's plans by giving Jin clemency, he could have chosen not to kill him and ACTUALLY was telling us he didn't want to kill him up until a PAGE of the actual deed.

How I would imagine Canon Hawks vs. Fanon Hawks would interact with Y/N after seeing them again.

C.Hawks: I'm always willing to help out a friend in need, especially during everything going on. In order to have a functioning family, you need a base, and if that base, or Endeavour for example, were to fall. So does the whole family, even if they try to admit to being okay, they wont be. Plus if Endeavour fell from number 1, then I would have a lot more responsibility on my hands.
