In honor of this Werner Wednesday, have Werner being a good uncle to Magda while her dad is ill
Magda tries to be composed through everything, but... Sometimes she has to cry into the Good Doctor's arms.
Hi Mr. Sawyer,
Huge fan of your work. I've been curious about this for a while, but are there canonical ages for the characters in any given act? I'm quite curious as to how old the sisters are, especially - for example, Zedna probably isn't too far off Andreas' age, but what about Illuminata, Matilda, etc?
Have a lovely day?
These aren't canonical because they aren't in game and what's in the game may contradict these notes, but this was what I had in mind when I first wrote the character doc 4+ years ago. All these are for Act I ages. Note that all character ages in the doc were listed as early/mid/late + decade unless they were under 20, in which case they have a specific year.
Mother Cecilia - Mid 50s
Sister Illuminata - Late 20s.
Sister Zdena - 19.
Sister Lijsbet - Late 20s.
Sister Matilda - Early 30s.
Sister Sophie - Early 20s.
Sister Gertrude - Mid 30s.
Sister Margarete - 18.
Sister Amalie - Mid 30s

RIP Vácslav from Pentiment you would have loved having a podcast
"What can be said about him. A gifted young scholar born from humble beginnings, yet he wanted to do more. He could've done more...But now there's nothing more to be said. I am not a hero, I am not a hero..."

I'll never get over the art parallels in pentiment (spoilers & sources below the cut)
Albrecht Dürer, "Melencolia I" / Lucas Cranach the Elder, "Saint Maurice" / Fere Seyon, "Diptych with Mary and Her Son Flanked by Archangels, Apostles and a Saint" / Unknown, "Лабиринт духовный" (The Spiritual Labyrinth) / Albrecht Dürer, "A Boatload of Fools" / Limbourg brothers, "November" in Très riches heures du Duc de Berry (The Very Rich Hours of the Duke of Berry) / Marek Czarnecki, "St. Hildegard" (restoration) / Unknown, "Artemis depicted on a frieze, with her hunting bow and hound" / Unknown, "Reconstruction of the Mithraeum at Carrawburgh on Hadrian’s Wall"
I have been changed for good.
