Most Romantic Disney Movie?

Asking for opinions for... REASONS. But what Disney movie (I’m talking original animated) do people think is the most romantic one out there?

My personal hc is that Movie!Sonic is terrible at identifying romantic relationships.

Like, he doesn't understand romance in general at all. Sonic spent ten years without talking to anyone and most of his references come from pop culture, which doesn't have many good models for healthy relationships, let's be honest. He saw in the movies that romance is big gestures, passions and big kisses and stuffs.

So when he see functional and more normal-day-life couples, he thinks they're just friends.

He thought Maddie and Tom were housemates until the day he saw them kissing on their wedding anniversary.

And this goes along with another hc of mine that he doesn't identify the crush he has for Amy because instead of the adrenaline and the fast-beating heart that he sees being described, what he feels for Amy makes him feel... calm. At peace.

And he can't connect the dots.

In regards to your Ask Box post, I'm curious as to what you think of Bayverse Optimus Prime. The man's not exactly well-loved on tumblr.

the short answer…

Who I pair/hate them with: Elita-1 (OTP)

Why I like/hate them: truthfully, the stunning realistic CGI work of the movies. I really do like Optimus’s bayverse design. And of course he’s just kick-ass :P but still holds the ideals of his original G1 self

Favourite physical feature: preeeeetty much everything, except his nose and his feet

Least favourite quality in the character: not particularly fond of his “We will kill them all” line, amongst a few other violent activities. but more on that below

3 Headcanons: 1) Jazz is NOT DEAD, and remains Optimus’s SIC and bestest best friend; 2) There exists a TFA-style Sentinel Prime character, ie. an Autobot who was once Optimus’s comrade and rival on Cybertron. When they meet up again, “Sentinel” is still a jealous asshole; 3) Elita-1 is anything but a ‘trophy wife.’ She’s a tough warrior herself who supports and works with Optimus a lot - she’s esentially like another one of his lieutenants. When in public, they are both serious and focused on work, and they never let their relationship interfere with missions. If you’re extremely lucky, you might catch them in a rare public display of affection (usually just arm-around-the-shoulder or shared smiles/laughter).

Grave || Cayde and Chloe

Summary: It's the anniversary of Cayde's death and Chloe remembers a song he had sang for her.

Warnings: angst, fluff, mentions of character death, and country music

A/N: This song is one of my favorites and wanted to do a sorta song fic for Cayde.

Chloe sat on the ground, hugging her knees to her chest, chin resting atop them. She felt sorrow and sadness wash over her. The Huntress couldn't help but let the tears flow as they came down like rain fall and mournful sobs left her mouth.

....It had been 2 years....

...2 years, too many...

She counted the days that she hasn't been held by the man she fell in love with. She counted the hours in which she hasn't heard his voice whisper sweet nothings in her ear. She counted the minutes that she hasn't seen him do something selfless for those he cared about. And she counted seconds since he died in her arms in the Prison of Elders.

Cayde.

Even after taking her revenge on Uldren, she thought it would hurt less, she thought the pain would go away, maybe even bring Cayde back. But boy was she wrong. The pain was still there, and it hurt like a bitch. Moondance, her ghost, tried everything to even get the smallest sign of happiness from his guardian, but nothing really seemed to work for long especially on the day Cayde passed.

All Chloe wanted was to go back to the good old days where Cayde was still here. She cherished every moment they spent together, every conversation they had, every night she spent in his arms just in content silence, and every song country song he'd sing to her.

Her favorite memory with him was when sung a country song to her. The song was before the golden age and before the collapse. And it was one of her favorites.

<flashback>

"So, I was looking through your Playlist the other day," Cayde started, holding the acoustic guitar Chloe had gotten him as a dawning gift.

"Were you, why?" She asked, sitting on his couch with him.

"Because I found a song on it that wanted to learn on the guitar and sing to you," The Exo replied, stunging a few chords on the string instrument in his hands.

Chloe smiled and prompted him to go ahead and start. She watched as Cayde's fingers strummed and danced across the strings and frets of the guitar. The song he sang was by Thomas Rhett and it was one of her favorites.

"I may be six feet deep, but I'll still be lovin' you

Baby, what we got won't ever die

Can't take diamonds, can't take gold,"  Cayde ended the song and put the guitar to the side, "I love you, Chloe Brask, and my love for you will never die."

Chloe smiled and leaned in to place a kiss on Cayde's mouth, "Same here, baby."

<End of Flashback>

He took his love for her to the grave with him. She still loved him too, she missed him terribly too. Moondance was hovering in front of her unsure of what to do. So, he just nudged her.

"Chloe, come on, let's go ger some raman and then go sit by his-"

"Please don't say it, let's just do it," The Huntress mumbled with a sniffle.

She got up and slipped on a jacket and a pair of sneakers. It was raining outside, so Chloe also grabbed an umbrella. She left her apartment and walked down to the raman shop in the Bazaar. She ordered Cayde's usual raman, now her usual raman. Spicy Beef Raman with an extra kick of Tabasco sauce.

Chloe arrived at the cemetery and walked over to where Cayde was buried. It was basically a golden stutue of him the Hunters (including herself) had put up for him. There was an assortment of offerings and gifts the guardians had left him, like weapons, glimmer, flowers, bowls of probably ruined raman, amungst other things Cayde would have liked.

With the umbrella protecting her from the rain Chloe sat down, not caring if the wet grass had gotten her shorts soaked.

"Hey, baby, it's me," She started, "it's been two long years without you and I just wanna say that I still am completely and unconditionally devoted to you."

Chloe bit back tears, running a hair through her blue hair, "I miss you so, so much. Sometimes I still hear you playing that guitar I got you, the black on you'd play all the time. Yeah, I keep it in our room mounted to the wall. You know I can't play the guitar like I play the piano, but I keep it because it reminds me of the happier times. Especially when you'd sing to me while playing."

Her voice cracked at the end and before she could stop herself, the tears fell again, "I wish you were still here, baby. I love you. Even though you're six feet deep, I know you love me too."

In the back of her mind she could hear him whisper.

"Can't take diamonds, can't take gold. But I'll take your love with me when I go. I'm gonna take it to the grave with me."

Oh boy I can’t sleep so here’s some Cyberpunk Relationship Headcanons!

Kerry x Male!V

-Kerry genuinely sung the ‘I love you, bitch. I’ll never stop loving you, bitch’ song to V on their three month anniversary, complete with the guitar. V had no idea what to say, and didn’t understand the reference.

-Kerry sleeps starfish style and with his mouth open. V has had to close his mouth because he drools in the night.

-Kerry swore he would never have an animal in his mansion before Nibbles came to be. After he met nibbles, Kerry bought him a throne style cat bed.

-Kerry doesn’t understand that not every kiss has to be with tongue. V has genuinely bitten his tongue because he just wanted a quick smooch before a gig.

Panam x Male! V

-Panam is allergic to pollen, but due to being in the badlands, she never knew until V brought her organic flowers. She sneezed for a week straight before realizing.

-V and Panam like racing, but V is terrible at driving. He once accidentally crashed her car into a pile of cacti.

-V and Saul sometimes have family dinner together, and Saul asks really personal questions about the relationship every time. (Example: ‘sooo…have you two screwed yet?’)

-when V can’t sleep, Panam takes him out to look at the stars. The first time she did, he cried, since he’d never seen them before due to the city lights.

….”if we don’t fix this chip thing, V, I’ll be looking up at those. You’ll be the prettiest star out there.”

Judy x Fem! V

-Judy loves telling V about her ocean and fish hyperfixation. Sometimes, she wishes she could afford to go to a real aquarium. V swears if she gets the money, she’ll take her on a date there.

-Judy and V have made braindances before, all to be kept in Judy’s “private folder.”

-V doesn’t understand why Judy is so emotional sometimes, but she’ll awkwardly hug her or kiss her when she starts crying.

-Judy’s favorite movie to watch with V is Ponyo. Judy knows the song by heart and sings it during the credits.

River x Fem! V

-Both River and V really want the other to quit their jobs, so sometimes they jokingly leave resignation papers on each other’s desks. V doesn’t really have a ‘boss,’ so River just leaves a sticky note that says “quit.”

-River really likes iguanas, so when V hatched hers, he cuddled with it more than her for a week straight. V had to deal with it being in between them in bed.

-Joss and V talk a lot, to the point where V will show up at his house just to completely ignore him and talk to his sister. River just ends up standing behind them awkwardly.

-River does the ‘broke boyfriend stance’ every time they’re in a store. Johnny makes fun of him for it.

-River and V are really cuddly, to the point River can’t fall asleep correctly without her beside them.

Bonus!!!! Johnny x GN! V

-Johnny has tried to convince V to kiss the mirror to see if it feels like an actual kiss. (It doesn’t.)

-V has a habit of telling Johnny ‘I love you’ out loud. They said it in front of Hanako right before the relic malfunction, and Hanako looked at them and said

“Uhm…thank…you…?”

-V eventually figures out how to get Johnny a new body and repair the chip. (In my heart I’m delusional.) Once they did, they didn’t let go of each other for weeks. They had the worst honeymoon phase.

-Johnny excessively jokes about soul killer. V does not find it amusing.

Bonus Bonus!!!! Takemura x GN! V

-Takemura cooks most of their meals after V revealed they mainly eat frozen tv dinners instead of real food. He’s Also really insistent that they drink water and shower.

-Takemura once brutally cried after seeing the full effects of the Relic Malfunctions, comparing it to when his Arasaka implants got revoked.

-Takemura didn’t know how to hug someone, so he accidentally nearly choked V.

-he also didn’t know how to kiss, so he just…opened his mouth.

-Takemura doesn’t understand sarcasm, so he takes whatever V says to its fullest meaning.
