Could be intentional or not, but it makes me wonder if Hooty’s Moving Hassle foreshadowed one of the big climaxes of the series, as did Eda’s line about powerful magic because that’s who the coven heads are, and I believe it’s implied, if not outright stated, that stronger coven heads means a more effective draining spell, hence Belos’ insistence on using Darius, Raine, and Eberwolf. If the draining spell had stronger coven heads, it might’ve weakened Raine too much to save Eda, and weakened Alador too much to give the Hexsquad cover to travel to the skull and free the Collector…

Unsurprisingly, this means a colonizer took a ritual meant to cultivate social bonds and bastardized it outside of its original meaning to perform genocide.

FINALLY watched the Barbie Movie tonight. Liked the themes in the movie and how they handled it, favorite characters were Weird Barbie, Alan, and the Mom. Adored Ken and Margot Robbie's Barbie. This movie has to be one of my favorite movies this year besides Nimona and Puss in Boots the Last Wish!! 10/10💖

I just finished Kill La Kill this morning and now I can say for certain it's one of my favorite animes ever as of recently!! Mako is one characters next to Gamigori and Ryuko 💖
