Palestine Designs

One of you reached out to me and requested puzzles for some of my designs. At the time I added the one on the left since it was near a large enough resolution already. I just added a scaled up version of the design on the right as well, please forgive me for taking so long to get around to it. My newest design also has a puzzle:

As usual, ALL PROCEEDS from my designs are for my Palestinian best friend, to help him support his girlfriend in remaining safely in America until things calm down and to help his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with (he's heavily involved in activism and I trust him to put the money where it will make the most difference).

I'm not really sure how a fundraiser like this should be considered under the strike, I'm going to keep sharing my stuff and leave it to your discretion when/if you want to purchase anything this week.

I don't usually do puzzles since Redbubble demands super high resolution and is also really glitchy about fitting the images, but there's plenty of other things on there like shirts, stickers, notebooks, etc.

I will warn you that for the woman in keffiyeh print you may be able to tell that the scarf outline is digitally drawn and doesn't look exactly the same as the lines on the original print when viewed on a high resolution product like this. I think it still looks pretty good though.

Palestinian Flag - NASA Photos

I wanted to share this one again while I wait for all my weekend designs to be approved. I colored this Palestinian flag with open source NASA photos.

My best friend is Palestinian, and a lot of his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the increasing Israeli raids in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries. ALL PROCEEDS from these designs will go first and foremost to helping his girlfriend afford to join him in America safely, and after that helping his other loved ones weather this war.

New Palestine Designs

I made a few designs this weekend with some open source patterns and a tatreez design I drew in FlossCross. Mostly made with clothing prints in mind, but also available on stickers, notebooks, phone cases, mugs, etc.

I'm currently very worried about escalation in Lebanon and the impact that could have on the family he has there who have so far been relatively safe. Hoping things stay under control there. He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with (he's such a sweet person, he's involved in so much charity work for so many different causes, Palestinian and otherwise). These two photos, of an iris and poppies (both flowers that are commonly used to represent Palestine) come from the Library of Congress's "Wild flowers of Palestine" collection. There's a bunch of other old flower photos on there too but I picked these because they are particularly common symbolism. I tweaked the contrast a bit to make them pop more and added the "فلسطين" label to each so the meaning of the photo is more apparent when you stick them on things. They're small photos so only available as stickers and magnets, here and here.

He will donate anything his family doesn't need to the Palestinian charities he works with. He's hoping to donate most/all of it if possible (plus more of his own money) but I want to make sure he has a financial safety net himself first until things are more certain. Grad school pays like shit (which is why I started this shop in the first place, I just switched it from raising money for me to him haha) and so many people he loves are in precarious positions.

I've already made something similar to this, it seems like a good design for a sticker. The keffiyeh was a gift from the friend I am fundraising for. He gave it to me back in October while I was trying to comfort him, I have worked photos of it into a lot of my designs.

The tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) pattern I made has been more popular as a sticker than I expected, so I have just added the top two versions designed primarily to be used as stickers (also available as pins and magnets).
