merry christmas from me to you. and mothman.
(mostly mothman.)
some traits u can add to ur characters or npcs if u want!
Build inspired conceptually by the hanging garden of Babylon and architecturally by Mesoamerican pyramids. I’ve been working on this for the last couple weeks, but I was waiting for all the new plants to finish it!
fun fact about me is that when i was a kid id write capital E’s with as many of those little horizontal lines as possible and id call them ladder E’s and adults fucking hated them
a run down of all the dnd characters i’ve played over the past few years. leonard was my first and holds a special place in my heart. agni was an npc in a campaign i dm’ed, and i plan to use him again. ben is who i’m currently playing, he’s a sweetheart. shoutout to our amazing dm, @faerplay
why are most of them men, you ask? because dysphoria sucks
god wouldn’t you feel stupid if you were a witch and you tried to bestow a curse upon someone’s family but accidentally made the curse a recessive allele
time for me to talk more about my campaign!
so, this is like an urban fantasy sort of deal.
my players so far are a siren who won’t sing, a living statue, and a pigeon harpy.
one of my absolute favorite npcs is a harpy shop npc. actually two of my favorites are harpies.
they’re both seagull harpies, absolute gremlins.
if any of you remember that seagull covered in curry? yeah, he’s a harpy living under a picnic table in the park. you give him food, he gives you random items of varying usefulness.
and then there’s kallisto. she’s a random encounter, will ask for food and then just kind run off. she doesn’t give you anything for a while. then, eventually, she starts giving you little magic items. these generally act as separate random encounters.
oh, and her name means most beautiful. she is not conventionally that. she’s just a scrappy little seagull that steals your fries and screams at random moments out of boredom.
so yeah, i love her.
thank you so much for the wonderful art!
this character is fenrys “fenn” juneberry, a halfling bard and ex-soldier.
his headband is a scrap of his army’s banner, the pack on his side is a bag of tricks. he took up life as a bard as a way to leave his past behind.
he tends to take things either too seriously or not at all, no in between. he wields a longsword.
don’t have much of a backstory for him yet but i do love him dearly.
