This is about allowing people to filter their space and enjoy their content, but it is also absolutely about respecting and protecting them too. Let people filter out things that could be harmful to them.

But it is also super annoying when people don’t tag their spoilers, please guys do that too, I’m begging man.

You know what I find really sexy? Tagging. Tag your spoilers. Tag your ships correctly. Tag your discussions. Make your own posts. AND TAG THEM. Give people the option to filter out things they don't like and that ruin their experience.
