And don't even get me started on Gus keeping his besties secret for that long, he a real ride or die.

Psych was correct. When you're 100% sure of your conclusion, but it's based off of evidence that only you can see (because it's obscure, easily dismissed, or requires a lot of prior context), it's genuinely better to just say "I had a psychic vision" or something like that. People are more willing to believe you have mystical powers than that they just missed something you found obvious.

The fun thing about me is I know if I was an avatar, I’d be a lonely avatar, but I really don’t like Peter Lucus.

How do I know I’d be a lonely avatar? I literally have been unintentionally isolating myself since I was 7. The quiet consumes me. I have had nightmares about the fog, even before tma. One of my most formative memory, is me by myself in a house without heating, because my mom forgot to set her alarm to pick me up. It’s me watching the heat of my breath turn into smoke because it was so cold. The fucking coldest day of the year.

It’s me being alone, hours upon hours, for most of my life so far. It’s me watching people who I thought were my friends drift away. It’s me trying over and over in vain to make friends, only to be left out of plans and group chats. It’s me finding comfort in books and stories, because i can’t ruin it if they don’t know me.

It’s me learning to be alone. To be alone with myself. It’s when the negative thoughts stop feeling so sharp. When they stop hurting so much. It’s me knowing that more than likely, I will always be alone. And that’s okay.

But I say I’d be a corruption avatar even tho that completely untrue. (But I really like Jane Prentiss and Petite Scarbee. And bugs be awesome).

Because they get to love, even if it turns sour. Even when it consumes them. When it rots whatever was good. At least they had it. Some kind of rotting version, instead of the empty hollowness of being alone. Something instead of the vast expanse of quiet.
