I’m Rewatching Early Season 1 And Gosh. I Love The Plot Lines And The Focus On The Kids In The Rest
I’m rewatching early season 1 and gosh. I love the plot lines and the focus on the kids in the rest of the seasons, really I do. But there’s something beautiful in the uncomplicatedness of the first 13? Not many of them get a focus because of how much we follow Schue’s story and that somewhat makes me like the kids better? Like glee really mostly focused on characters or relationships if they were going to be mean or there was going to be drama. But with so much drama being taken up by the Ken/Emma/Will/Terri and babygate plots the rest of the characters live out of background moments. And it’s truly a testament to these actors how well they craft these kids with the little time they have. All these little moments and friendships and callbacks just make me feel warm because it feels real. With how dramatic all the kids are from sectionals on out (and yes they are dramatic in the first 13, but in like a teenagers way) a lot of them being kids is lost? Watching throwdown and sectionals and just seeing all the interaction and ways the casts’ bond came through? Gosh as much as we all rag on the first 13 there’s a reason people came back for more. And it was these actors doing so much with so little in such amazing ways.

We need a little christmas always makes me kinda cringe. And I love Chris’s voice so much but the like really high short speak-sing lines he has come off as really sharp? Idk I like most of their Christmas stuff and I’ll still listen to the song I just kinda only like it for the boppiness
I had to go back and listen to this one -- it sounds like the entire song was sped up to make it sound more childlike, which is... weird. And you’re right, Chris is straining again. Eesh. It’s not good. C- at best.
HOWEVER YOU REMINDED ME OF THE SONG THAT I WILL THROW THINGS AT THE TV IF I HAVE TO EVER LISTEN TO IT AGAIN AND THAT IS.... THE CHIPMONK SONG.
Good god, I hate that song.
Apparently, other people don’t mind it. I don’t know, lol.
But back to your thoughts -- it leads a longer conversation about Chris’s voice -- and how sometimes, a high song he can just soar on, and other times, when it’s in that awkward middle range of your voice, he can seem like he’s straining a bit. The thing, though, that people don’t seem to talk about is that Chris’s voice did drop during the show, and his gorgeous lower register wasn’t used as often as I would have liked it. But also, sometimes I don’t think they knew how best to use Chris’s voice when in group numbers.
Okay since team rwby is apparently stuck in wonderland now, and wonderland, having a beach, has a very different climate than atlas. With this in mind obviously our hero’s don’t have access to new clothes, so here is a drawing I traced of how they can alter their current looks with what they have to better suit beach weather!

Thank you! My freshman year my school did The Drowsy Chaperone for the school musical I was on tech and it was so amazing it kinda never leaves my brain.
Ugh going through tumblr is fun cause I’ll spend a while scrolling and wonder why I’m not seeing someone I normally see, and I’ll look into it and for some reason I’m not following them anymore??? Like I’ve had to refollow 3 blogs this week alone that I know I’ve been following for ages
