This au basically happens after "Phantom Planet". Vlad had somehow travelled back to earth and decided to go to Diamond City to live with his father and niece he has never met (Dr. Crygor and Penny). Penny starts to discover that Vlad is a half-ghost after a gadget she made (which says which species someone is) tells her he is. And Dr. Crygor is oblivious of his son's true identity.
