“If anyone ever asks you that question again, just show ’em this picture.”
i think chuuya nakahara is truly the most human charavter in asagiri shows this purposfully in many mnay ways, ostof the time he is a stark contrast of dazai, bursting with energy and emotion and care. And he is the human light, the sun or the beaty of destruction that dazai finds so comforting, and that dazai teases him so chuuya can make dazai feel morw alive. since chuuya and dazais reuion during the guild arc that dazai hasnt tried to kill himself and thta througjout their shared past there has been a theme of dazai stopping his genuine attepts on his own life, and rather doing them to manipulate people like mori or to feel alive.
.... Sorry felt like yappin
YESSSS SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT, ITS SIMLAR FOR DAZAI TOO... AUAGHHH THEYRE BOTH SO INCREBIBLE ON THEIR OWN AND EVEN BETTER TOGETHER BUT I FEEL LKKE PEOPLE NEED TO FOCUS ON CHUUYAS RELATIONS WITH OTHER CHARACTERS TOO... I wanna see more chuuya kenji or chuuya kyouka, or chuuya and the akutagawas...
Thinking back to that interview with Asagiri a bit ago, where he mentioned how Chuuya slowly overtook Kunikida as Dazai's partner since he became so popular, and it got me thinking. Because while I love skk as much as the next person, Chuuya on his own is such an interesting character that I don't think his interactions need to be solely limited to Dazai. One thing I love about Stormbringer is how many new, different characters we got to see Chuuya interact with, apart from just Dazai. I don't want to see him replace Kunikida, I want to see him interact with Kunikida (not just that one scene). I want to see him team up with other members of the Agency, like Atsushi, or Kenji. I want to see him with Akutagawa, since despite how much people assume things about their relationship, we've only ever seen them interact with each other in one freaking scene. And it wasn't even the manga, it was the movie (there are the drama cds, of course, but those are questionably canon). It's possible for anime onlys, there may not be as much to his character outside of Dazai, but as someone whose read the lns, I just feel like his character is interesting enough on his own, and I hate that he's always reduced to being one half of skk, as opposed to Dazai, who is seen as more than that. Basically what I'm saying is, let Chuuya interact with the rest of the cast! Screw Dazai! (with love)

In a corner of Gaza, my family and I are drowning in destruction, with the echoes of suffering surrounding us. I sat beside my modest tent, hastily erected after losing my home in the latest bombing. The faces of my family tell stories of patience and resilience, with lines of time etched upon them, as if they were records of unforgettable events. 🇵🇸⏳🍉
I once lived in a small home, filled with the laughter and voices of my children. Today, I have become a witness to the agony of displacement. The bombing forced me to flee with my children after a shell struck our home, leaving behind years of memories and simple belongings I never imagined would become unreachable. 🏚️💨
Every morning, I leave my tent and go to work, using a clay oven to provide food for my children. Meanwhile, my youngest son heads to the charity kitchens that offer aid, waiting for long hours under Gaza’s scorching sun. Despite the exhaustion that weighs down his frail body, he carries the food mixed with his tears and returns with a fake smile, hiding behind it the burdens of his struggles. 🍞🥀
At night, when everyone else is asleep, I remain seated at the entrance of my tent, gazing at the dark sky, reminiscing about days gone by… about my home that was once filled with warmth. Yet, I still find remnants of hope in my heart—a hope that one day peace will return, and my children and I will live in a new home, filled with joy. 🌙🏡✨
In moments of solitude, I find peace in prayer and supplication. I plead to God to protect Gaza and its people, to wipe away the dust of sorrow from our hearts. I always repeat🇵🇸🍉🌿
"We are here to remind the world that we are stronger than war, and we will rebuild our lives anew, no matter the cost!" 🙏
I do definitly have to admit the anime has its moments - like in dark era, dead apple and the guild arc. However i dont think the current style of animation properly potrays the theme and moods of most shows. from my pespective, bungo explores mental illness and the lines and burrness of morality. I really would like if the animation potrayed that in its style like Evangelion or lain, but instead its smooth and sharp, a stark differnce to how most of the characters view the world around them.
Idk if im the only one who thinks this, but the Bungo anime wouldve gone so much harder if it was animated in the 90s style of animation, specificly the evangelion style. Or even like the Dadaroma, NANA, or Paradise kiss style of animation. I have a lot of issues with the current anime, and most are animation related...
