This robe à l’anglaise is a superb expression of the English taste in dress—skillful cut and construction, and free from elaborate trimmings—a sensibility that increasingly influenced European modes of dress in the late eighteenth century. The refined simplicity and neat tailoring associated with English dress grew increasingly influential in France during the latter half of the eighteenth century. By the 1770s, French fashion magazines regularly featured the robe à l’anglaise, praising its elegance and modest charm. This example is impeccably made and discreetly adorned, its sole ornamentation being bands of pinked, self-fabric trim. The choice of textile, a delicately patterned silk damask dating to the 1730s, is evidence of the common eighteenth-century practice of repurposing finely woven fabrics.

I would personally disagree with the sentiment that TCW is the worst interpretation of Anakin.

I understand the point. But, I feel like clone wars can act as a way of looking at Anakin from an outside perspective. The rest of these characters don’t see Anakin suffering until it’s too late we aren’t seeing what a mess he is how fragile he is how his fear is consuming him.

Ahsokas just happy to see him again, Obi-wan is growing tired and wearing thin these are things we see the most in that final season.

Season seven almost acts as how Ahsoka saw Anakin. Strong, Quippy, Always looking out for the little guy.

To her the Anakin she left was just as whole and alive when she returned.

we know that’s untrue but that’s what she sees.

I understand that the show itself probably wasn’t reading in to deep and was using nostalgia off of the previous seasons to drive season seven.

but. I choose to look at it in a sadder way a way that allows for that version character to exist.

The clone wars is about Ahsoka and Rex at the end of the day. And to them, Anakin never changed.

The Coruscant underworld, also called the lower levels or undercity, were the levels underneath the surface structures of the planet Coruscant.

the underworld was a world of its own, with hundreds of levels built on top of each other. Undercity dwellers often had to breathe toxic fumes from millennia of urbanizations. sunlight did not reach the lower levels leaving them in a perpetual state of darkness illuminated only by artificial lights and advertisement holograms.

The underworld, containing a vast population of the poor and criminal, was a dark and violent place. There were numerous establishments for entertainment and criminal activity alike. Those who wanted to disappear to hide from the authorities or to conduct illegal transactions could blend in despite the presence of the underworld police, a division of the Coruscant Security Force.
