Hey remember that a boycott if actually MORE effective under capitalism if you profess you would actually end the boycott under certain conditions.

“Nothing this company does can make up for their bad actions, I will never buy from them again!” Okay so they’ve lost you as a customer and have no reason to try and get you back. You can HOPE to drive them into bankruptcy but Chic-Fil-A is evidence of how well that works.

“This company did something bad. I would not consider buying their product again, UNLESS, they publicly apologized and made up for it by … [donating money to a cause, promoting different content, offering better care to their employees, etc.]” This is actually MORE likely to be effective because if enough people say this, the company m sees them as potential customers of a certain demographic, and is willing to make changes to get those customers back and, long term, make money from them.

How the story goes, Nick gets hurt and Finch takes upon themself to help him heal and get Better. Nick is terrified but eventually he starts to question his fears and ideas. This human clearly means no harm. Not once they had gotten mad at him. He begins to enjoy the company even….until he gets better, and he comes to the conclusion that he was wrong and Crazy for allowing any of that. It wasn't natural. So he leaves It takes him only a day or two, after having tasted company and kindness again after years of solitudine and misery, that actually he doesn't want to be alone anymore. He can't be alone anymore. And he comes back in the dead of the night

... I remembered this SFM animation of this Elite soldier who gets shot in the eye with a crossbow bolt during a battle and breaks free from all the Combine programming or whatever, and goes on his own journey.

And that exact thing happened to this guy in White Forest. Don't ask how the bolt didn't kill him due to literally hitting him in the head, how it didn't kill him due to it being heated, or how this is lore friendly (it's obviously not).

When he woke up with a bolt stuck in his eye, he was left for dead by his squad, and his mind was mostly wiped clean for plot convenience.

You could call him a, free man. Hehe. I'm hilarious.

Rebels shoot at him on sight because, well, he's still a Combine soldier and that's all they see. For now. His previous colleagues (Universal Union) think he's dead due to his bio signal being flat or something, so, they've marked him as KIA. Hence the name, the K.I.A. I'm very original as you can see (not).

It's also really hard to survive if you don't eat like a normal human does, and instead take in sustenance through a hole in your abdomen or something along those lines—So that sucks. I'm imagining him going through, just rediscovering life, nature, and the sorts, witnessing the Citadel kaboom. Trying to survive.

He's probably going to die soon anyway due to the HOLE in his HEAD, so he might as well do what he couldn't do before.

I don't really have good ideas for this guy, I might try writing something about him. But anyway, yeah, that's about it. I was originally going to make him a shotgunner but I decided not to (kinda regret it now).
