English Translation of Novel 2: Chapter 2 – At the Center of the Golds

Here’s another translation from the second novel, the Order of Knights Book. This one features the Experience Enrollment where Asta joins the Golden Dawn for the day, so there’s a lot of Asta, Klaus, and Mimosa in this chapter! This takes place the day before the Black Bulls leave for the beach town of Raque in order to go to the Seabed Temple.

Within the Order of the Magic Knights, an army of mages under the direct supervision of the Wizard King, there is one squad known as the Golden Dawn. In the rivalry between Magic Knight squads, the Golden Dawn consistently shows the highest achievements. Thus, they are known by all to be the most powerful squad. Its members, of course, consist only of the most elite nobles and royals. Indeed, with half-baked magic power, one could not hope to be selected into this gathering of the chosen elite.

His face is so relatable because you can be a very intelligent person all you want, HOW can you predict your ennemis made it a priority to build a perfectly functional tunnel all the way to your ass ??

They fought Stanley because they wanted to keep a plane ??? They were under the pressure of "i can come back and kill any of you any second" and their reaction was "well, gotta make sure i can use my plane on my boat" like ????

They saw the most obvious spy ever, let her come in, and found a way to make her change teams (they were trained personally by Gen).

They saw their ennemis were the very elite of the american army, and thought "yeah we gonna fight against them in a plane duel, and use our spears against their AK47" and it kinda worked (Stanley being undefeated is another story).

They dug a TUNNEL all the way under the castle to kidnap Xeno. HOW can you even think it's something that could happen. Xeno didn't loose (not really a loss, but not a win either) because the others are smarter, he lost because the others are batshit crazy and chaotic 24h/24. He literally can't predict their next move, no matter how smart his 4d chess plan is.

America lost the moment they let Gen walk freely in the castle anyway.

I’m hopping on the “Asta Is Smarter Than People Give Him Credit For” train with two more Asta Big Brain moments. During the witch forest arc when ladros is “begging for his life,” trying to trick asta into removing the sword and he refuses because 1: if ladros is bluffing (which he was) asta would be giving him a perfect opportunity to attack, and 2: he deliberately hit ladros in a non-vital spot to incapacitate him without killing him.

ANOTHER ONE is at the volcano when he figures out how to activate the devil form on his own without any direction or instruction.

Devil Reincarnation AU

Asta's mission even after becoming the Wizard King is to find the remaining reincarnated devils (side effect of Lucius consuming their magic) and take them in, since he's technically one of them.

So I found out my old fan insta account got hacked and apparently, I used my old secondary school gamil account which has since been deleted. NOT ONLY THAT, but I deleted my recovery gmail account (my main gmail) some time ago and I didn't think this through. so now my recovery gmail has since been permanently deleted with no way of recovery.

oh, and did I mention I NEVER did add a recovery phone number too wow yes so cool

I miss that account..it was one of my best memories in secondary school 😭😭😭 when I actually liked doing what I wanna do. My Picsart ahh edits :(
