Nancy Wheeler, Sam Larusso, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Lori Grimes, and Alicent Hightower, I will always defend you from your misogynistic haters.
everyone who’s saying that stranger things 4 didn’t queerbait has to be pretty damn stupid. the interviews, the hype, the fanart reposting - this isn’t about byler, this is about a massive company purposely hyping up queer ppl during pride month only to have little to no clarification. not even a coming out scene?? will’s struggle coming to terms with his sexuality is simply used as a stepping block for a straight ship and that fucking sucks. if they weren’t going to announce it this season, fine, doesn’t excuse them acting like it was going to happen. they knew what they were doing and it worked.
jury duty is such an insane concept for a show bc the creators really said “it’s a week (plus) long improvisation project filmed like a documentary based around a fake court room. james marsden is there & his role is to be as douchey as possible. the twist????? one single man is completely unaware that it’s a fake trial. truman show with a sprinkle of psychological warfare”
Alicent being a victim to a council of misogynist men being a 'gotcha' moment for some fans really shows their true mentality. This isn't about feminism to these fans, Rhaenyra is just a shield they use to hide their own misogyny with feminism. Otherwise Alicent's circumstances are so clear to even casual watchers (especially in an episode where both her and Rhaenyra have parallel scenes having their council speaking over them). A child bride forced to operate in the patriarchy to protect her kids, that girl getting thrown aside by men, isn't 'payback' or karma.. it's just the patriarchy wheel going on, crushing woman after woman under it. People enjoying Alicent's 'downfall' simply fail to understand the victims of patriarchy or do not care about them (which is why for many of these 'feminists', Rhaenyra's worth is tied to Daemon and not as an individual).
Dude I-
If this isn’t confirmation enough then I don’t know what is 💀
We as a community need to talk more about the fact that Els first word to Mike was "no" and Wills first word to Mike was "yes"
no tv show will ever be able to resolve a m/m/f love triangle as perfectly and as weirdly as Hannibal, in which the woman kisses one of the guys, sleeps with the other one, then decides "actually, never mind, you're both awful!" and marries a rich lesbian instead - and, while this is all going on, the guys develop a weird homoerotic obsession with each other culminating in them going off a cliff together. truly unhinged and unmatched
This is why The Owl House is my favorite show.
Another thing about the Titan that I enjoyed was how he's so fundamentally different from Belos's christian idea of god. She's bigender. She's super chill and takes the appearance of a 40 something dad when talking to mortals. That loud, disruptive woman who is bi, commits treason, and refuses to fall in line? Yeah He's been watching her and is a huge fan. She loves bread puns and uses his powers to make magic more accesible for everyone. He trusts a 14 year old girl with the power of god to save the world and defeat the white, straight man who came to colonize his world.
I've memorized every dialogue from every rhaenicent scene (i am mentally ill)
I think you’ve cracked the code! 😍
I have a new theory, so we all know that Mike is bald and I know there have been some rumors circulating that Will might be bald,so let’s think about this,
Mike clearly has some sort of internalized baldphobia/is a repressed bald, so if Will comes out to him as bald Mike may reject him because of his baldphobia,
so this is where Mikhail comes in, what if after Mike rejects Will, Will goes to Mikhail (forgetting to put his wig back on) and Mikhail fully accepts Will and also reveals himself as bald
After they get together as they’re in love and Mike has to suffer as he’s never able to accept the fact that he’s bald.
Idk I think this theory has a huge chance of becoming canon…
soulmates but not in a soft romantic way soulmates in a destined to change each other for better or for worse, cannot be who they are without each other, unstoppable together but they’re also the only ones who can defeat each other, equals, existences undeniably tied to each other way
