So if the Democrats take the Senate, Bernie Sanders becomes head of the Senate Budget Committee? Which would make him the fourth most powerful individual in the United States.

Imagine how much we could get done with a Sanders-led Senate Budget Committee under a Democratic president who has already been forced to adopt most of his domestic policy in exchange for his endorsement.

If you really want to see the change we got behind Bernie for, get Clinton into the White House, and get Democrats into the House and Senate.

(Also keep in mind that this next president gets to decide what’s constitutional and unconstitutional for the next 30-50 years, as they will most likely get to appoint at least four Supreme Court Justices.)

My biggest recommendation would be to take a note from your doctor explaining your dietary restrictions to someone at your college- probably someone in the accessibility office or someone in charge of the food service.  My sister cannot have gluten and tried to just get by her first year, but she could eat almost nothing on her meal plan as it was almost all processed food containing wheat in some form. It was an incredible waste of money as she had to buy so much stuff herself. The second year she talked to the school and got it fixed that she was able to get meals from a different dining room on her campus (that was for faculty and not included in the meal plan) that provided her with lots of fresh food (fruits and veggies) and meat, etc.

It was a pain to get straightened out, but well worth it in the long run.

As for snacks/ quick meals, depending on the size of your Walmart, some are getting quite a selection of Walmart brand gluten free products that are cheaper than others. I know my sister’s had their cookies and likes them.

This fall I will be heading off to college and while I will be on the full meal plan I definitely will need to supplement. I will have a small fridge and access to a microwave a target store and a Walmart store. I will be on a very limited budget. I also cannot eat dairy, gluten, coconut, nuts or onion and will be very limited as far as time is concerned. Any ideas of what I should stock up on for easy snacks and meals?

Hello again friends.

As I wrote in the title, this post will be illegal in Spain in less than an hour. Why? Because in 1 July of 2015 will come into effect the new “Ley de Seguridad Ciudadana”, the “Law of Citizen Security” or how the people of Spain call it LEY MORDAZA, in english GAG LAW.

This law was approved by the government with the oposition of the rest of political parties, the population of Spain and even the EU, the UN and the Greenpeace between many others because is the most agressive attack to the human rights, particularly to the right of freedom of speech.

In less than an hour doing something of the next list will be illegal among many other things:

Manifestations around the Congress and the Senate

Take photos or videos of the police, even if they are using force against the people. 

Stop an eviction

The pacific resistance

Tweet or spread information about a manifestation in Internet

Criticize the spanish monarchy

Spread information of the crimes of an accused party (like those participants of the government and politicians who now are being accused of corruption)

But the worst part is that, if you do any of those 44 new guidelines, you will be found guilty no by a proper judge but the government itself under the accusation of administrative offence, with a fine till 600.000 €

In short: this new law search the most agressive way to silence an entire population against one of the worst governments we ever had since the dictatorship of 1939.

Guys. I just realized something.

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING.

In this scene in DH part II, Harry, Ron and Hermione are just running around doing shit. Until now, I thought it was rather pointless and that they just took it in the movie to add some action. 

But then.

I REALIZED SOMETHING.

Okay, in this order, it happens.

First, a giant, ugly creature tries to kill them with a large weapon. They hide behind a pipe.

Second, there are spiders. Loads of ‘em.

Third, there is a werewolf.

Then, there are dementors.

In that particular order.

Still don’t get it? We’ll take it again.

FIRST, A GIANT, UGLY CREATURE TRYING TO KILL THEM WITH A LARGE WEAPON AND THEY HIDE BEHIND A PIPE.

SECOND, THERE ARE SPIDERS. LOADS OF THEM.

THIRD, THERE IS A WEREWOLF.

THEN, THERE ARE DEMENTORS.

THIS SCENE IS A PIECE OF ART AND IT IS SO GODDAMN IMPORTANT BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE ALREADY BATTLED AND NOW THEY DO IT AGAIN IN A SECOND WITH A SMALL SPELL AND IT SHOWS HOW MUCH THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH AND HOW MUCH THEY HAVE GROWN.
