“#06 Ace Fact: Demisexual people don’t think they’re better than allosexuals. Not experiencing sexual arousal until I have a close, emotional bond isn’t something I choose and doesn’t mean I think I’m better than other people. It’s just how I’m wired.”

“#07 Ace Fact: Demisexuality is different than being allosexual. There’s a difference between being sexually attracted to someone vs. wanting to have sex with them. Allosexuals can experience that attraction but can choose to wait; demisexuals just don’t experience that attraction until there’s a close, emotional bond.”
