THEORY TIME

So I actually cried over Arcane ending. By that final airship scene really made me think. I think that means that Jinx IS alive (powder saying she wanted to ride an airship) you COULD interpret the ballon she and Ekko show up in as an airship, but I like to think that she is inside that last airship. I think that’s why the animators and writers included that scene. Jinx is leaving Zaun and Piltover, they have too many bad memories after all, and going someplace new. I think this also allows for Vi to move on, because Jinx would still be punished for her actions unfortunately. I also think that the final scene with Vander and the young sisters maybe means Warwick sacrificed the remaining parts of him to give Jinx a second chance.

This could just be me coping though. I think they left Jinx’s fate unknown on purpose. It’s our story to interpret after all.

UPDATE: in the final explosion of the series, if you slow it down you can see a random pink streak fly away. I think it’s similar to Jinx’s shimmer trails in previous episodes. Caitlyn also narrows down on the tunnels to leave the Hexgates, so maybe!!

As many of you know, I’ve decided to do a fandub of the entirety of Voltron! The main aim of this is to rework parts of the show we think didn’t live up to the potential of what they could be, and with slight changes to the script the show would feel more complete! However, Tumblr doesn’t have the best variety of voices willing to participate. There’s a huge disparity between the amount of AFAB versus AMAB people on here, and I thought it would be best if I hired a few people for the recurring male characters, to ensure the quality of this project. However, like many of you, I don’t exactly have the money to fund this entirely on my own. That is why I’ve decided to start a GoFundMe for anyone looking to help fund this, whether it be better software or hiring professional voice actors. yall I’ve decided I want to do a redubbing of the ENTIRETY of voltron!!

This would obviously be a big project, so anyone who wants to be involved in script editing, placing audio, voice acting, etc. PLEASE reach out to me! Most importantly, I am LOOKING FOR VOICE ACTORS!! I imagine the male characters will be the hardest to find voices for, so lmk if you have the voice for that! doesn’t have to be exactly the same as the og as long as it fits the character, of course.

we would probably go episode-by-episode, my best way of communicating would be Instagram dms since I don’t have discord but we would also send emails/google drives of the files needed. Please dm me either here or on Instagram (same username) if you want to be involved!! Voice actors, I would appreciate a voice sample as well so I can properly cast you but we can wait until necessary. EVERYONE WILL GET CASTED!! I imagine we won’t get enough actors to fill each tiny role individually, so if you don’t get the role of paladin you’ll certainly be able to voice multiple side characters, so please stay on standby throughout the entire thing in case you get another opportunity to participate.

January 2025:
