Happy Family
This is Katniss, Peeta, and their kids, Willow and Rye. I got the idea from my friend's parents, who when they go on a date or spend time with each other they prefer to do it with their kids a.k.a. as a family and I really liked that idea. So in the spirit of Valentine's day, here is Peeta and Katniss having a date with their kids.
Also, I know Katniss didn't want kids but she did say she was happy when she held her child in her arms. I know Peeta has bangs but I don't think he'd keep them into adulthood hahaha. To me he looks like a total dad here hehehe
Jiro.
As I continue to get to know Jiro over the past few months, I continually discover more and more wonderful things about him and so I’m very excited to finally get to fully share such a wonderful person with everyone. I hope you find him as interesting as I find him wonderful.
Jiro’s story is the story of the supporting character in everyone else’s.
One of the most defining characteristics of Jiro, and one of the things I admire most about him, is how great of a support he is to those around him. He may seem scatter-brained and out of it most of the time so he doesn’t come across as reliable (in fact he’s probably coming across as the character, the child, who has to be taken cared of). Jiro isn’t an unyielding rock in the face of adversity. Jiro is the kind of person that spend every moment feeling his surroundings, the sunshine, the flowers, the trees, the air, the heat of the kitchen - everything. He has an almost childlike wonder about the beauty of the world around him and because of his curiosity and awe, he is actually very much in tune with everything that flows around him. His reliability comes from how he has learned to bend with the energy around him.
Jiro’s earnestness, consistent work-ethic, and humble countenance is what opened doors for him as the perfect supportive member everyone would want on their team. He is subtle and sometimes unnoticeable but the presence that elevates everyone in the team. His personality (and lack of ANY male arrogance) is what allows him to be a wonderful life partner to someone as bright as Danielle and the perfect Sous Chef/Creative partner with a visionary Thai Chef I have yet to name.
I love talking about my characters so ask me anything about them. I’m afraid to put too much here that it would bore people to death but I have various word files dedicated to each character and their relationships with everyone in their lives when I’m working on them so sharing whatever it is anyone is curious about them is fun.
Here's a lineup of les Garde Royale in their everyday on duty armour and their battle armour.
I get why Brigandine isn't used often in animated stuff, but I just wanted to have fun and I love how Brigandine looks 😁
Logan was supposed to be just a single character exercise (he isn't even supposed to be the main character) but ideas came and now there are a few other characters in my head related to him... so here is Logan so far, before what is probably going to be a new direction.
Sometimes you discover the funnest things when you're playing with layers.
I had a little too much fun with Nikolai today hehehe
On the illustration on the right, when I removed everything apart from the reds and the strap, the resulting silhouette was so strong that it just made me think of those Minimalist movie posters. So I just had to do this. I also could not pass up the opportunity of Nikolai “staring” questioningly at his movie poster hehehe.
Also, this is NOT an actual movie. Just me having fun. I just thought that if an actor would play Nikolai, the perfect face would be Matt Bomer. If someone would play Empress Natasha, it would be Natalie Portman. Elizabeth Debicki would play the Queen Nikolai ironically falls in love with.

This is a study I made while I was on my flight to the US. It was the longest day ever mostly because I'm pretty sure my April 19, 2014 lasted for more than 24 hours.
Lately I've been practicing drawing from life. Before, I was a little scared because i didn't like making mistakes, but I realized that it's okay to ale mistakes because later on I'll be able to correct them. And as I drew from life, it has been excellent practice.
I wanted to draw the guy beside me across the aisle (because he had a nice blazer on and very very nice brogues) but unfortunately he kept noticing me looking at him so I couldn't draw him... The other people I drew didn't notice (when you see the drawings I guess you can tell why).
My favorite drawing here is definitely the mom and her daughter (mother and child jk). It was very very cute and it was great seeing that. The man in the middle left (no, not the one who is sleeping funnily) seemed to be quite nostalgic and a lot of people get sentimental or think while on modes of transportation for a long time. The man on the lower right, I'm guessing is purser of the plane, he seemed to be quite happy with how the people were doing when one of the meals were served.
I rarely get to go on vacation or travel, but I love it. Seeing all sorts of different people, and thinking of the many things that they have gone through or the kind of people they are. People are interesting.
